Morning everyone
lol at your DD Eddas!
SOL, hope you both escaped without any cuts - very annoying!
Hi Maveta, nice to see you. N might not even crawl - MIL says her boys never did, they just walked one day! How are your nights at the moment?

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 08:30

of course dippy, t's nappies could disperse riots but there's not usually anything wrong

Maveta · 05/03/2008 08:36

SPB - fine atm actually, had him in bed with us at the weekend because he was a wee bit restless but in general fine, back to his usual of 10pm ish and then about 2/3am. Last night he didn't wake til midnight and then slept til 6.40am. his worst nights always seem to be friday and saturday but I can't for the life of me figure out why (apart from knowing we especially want to sleep on those nights of course)

how about you?

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 09:44

We seem to be back to one good night followed by one bad night. Last night was a good one, asleep before 9, feed at 5 and then asleep until after 7! So, bad one tonight

CaptainDippy · 05/03/2008 09:56

Sleep, babies, sleep .....

Octothechildherder · 05/03/2008 10:13

Right you can all stop emailing me now - have sent appeal stuff to Caz Hope it works out in your favour. I cried for about 6 weeks when I found out.

I have been working supply teaching loads to get some money in my bank account so haven;t been around. Am working later today so thought would pop on and say hi.

The uncontrolled screaming method (((whispers))) has worked and all three boys now sleep 7-7 (((touch wood a million times over))) Such an amazing difference. Ernie also getting on great with the nanny when I'm at wok - would be nice if he cried just a little bit

Kind of torn at the moment between working as much as I can while the work is available and spending time with ernie. Would be good to have some money in the bank and there may be times when there is no work about at all.

Hope everyone else is okay

CaptainDippy · 05/03/2008 10:20

Good to "see" you Octo Having children is just one big long guilt trip, isn't it!!? I find it so hard to juggle my time .....

Octothechildherder · 05/03/2008 10:22

hi everyone

mammyjo · 05/03/2008 13:17

Hi all. Not much happening here either! F is sleeping so I am enjoying a bit of quiet time! Have the joyous task of washing ds's lego. He pulled the drawer out this morning and it looked really dusty as he hasnt touched it in ages. I have a whole washing up bowl full of the damn stuff. Oh the excitement is just too much

Maveta, glad you are ok. Good to hear that N is sleeping a bit better for you too

Brain can't remember anything else See you all later

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 13:23

T is showing no signs of sleeping at all today!

Sexonlegs · 05/03/2008 13:51

MJ, you know how to live honey!!

My day is just as exciting. K is napping so am catching up with chores. zzzzzzzz

Pesha · 05/03/2008 14:09

Dylan is not sleeping today He was awake at 5 and came into bed with me and fed for an hour then was just dozing off in his cot when N woke up so DP brought him down and gave him breakfast. He dozed off on me at half 9 but woke as soon as I tried to put him down, cried and whinged all round town this morning and has now just woken up screaming after no more than 15 mins in his cot I wouldnt mind if he was happy but he so obviously tired

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 14:11

Pesha, this sounds like how T is as soon as the slightest thing is wrong - cold/teething etc.
Hope he drops off soon

NorthernLurker · 05/03/2008 14:21

Afternoon all

I'm very pleased to report that B is loads better . She slept all night, her temperature has gone down and she is nearly her happy self. We went to toddler group this morning - thought we'd see how she went and as soon as we got there she was off playing and exploring
When it was time to go though - she was asleep before we were acroos the road! She's had some lunch and is nice and chatty again so looks like she's well on the mend - she doesn't really like her antibiotics though!

Dd1 is having a little friend round after school and I will be spending some time working on the whales for world book day - really don't ask!!

Maveta - great to 'see' you - oh dear on the Euro front - have you got supplies in that will last?

Octo - lovely to 'see' you too

Dippy - pleased to hear that exploding bottom girl is now holding it all together girl

Mammyjo - I feel strangely moved to go and was our lego......

Hi SOL, SPB and everyone else

Hi to everyone else

Pesha · 05/03/2008 14:22

Thanks SPB

His screaming picked up so went up to get him and dp had got there first. Tried to hand him to me and he screamed, gave him back he stopped and smiled, moved him towards me and he screamed, cuddles with daddy and he smiled Dp wanted to go back to bed though so gave him to me, D screamed but settled to grumbling when daddy was out of sight and then smiled at me, bit late for that really boy

Have given him calpol and hes having a little play now. He does have a cold and little bit of a cough but also one very red cheek so could be another tooth. I dont do clingy babies!!! Not past the 6 month mark anyway! Although if hes going to be clingy with Daddy only then thats fine!

NorthernLurker · 05/03/2008 14:22

(NL waves to Pesha too )

Pesha · 05/03/2008 14:29

Hi NL - glad B is so much better today

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 14:40

Yes, good that B is back to normal!
Lol at don't do clingy babies - I'm not sure you get a choice!

Bramshott · 05/03/2008 15:28

Oh God - clingy babies! O has taken to crying, then crawling towards me and supergluing herself to my leg! Arggh - when is this separation anxiety thing supposed to peak?!

Hello by the way!

StealthPolarBear · 05/03/2008 15:30
