pah! Nappy talk.

sure fire way to get rid of me!

about time. Please don't talk to me if I 'm here tomorrow.

xx

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 25/02/2008 22:11

I can't handle tcp daisy. My grandma used it for everything and even the smell of it makes me gag! Thanks for the tip though!

milkyJammy · 25/02/2008 22:13

Sorry, haven't quite made it away.
Oh it's not mother's day that I'm annoyed about. It's everything else, but I don't want to get started or I'll get all cross again and then not sleep.

holly, here, but only in pink. Surely DS needs to get in touch with his feminine side . They have V2s in butternut, but they aren't BOGOF. Not sure if that is a good price for them though?

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 25/02/2008 22:15

I'm off with a lemsip as well.....if nothing else it'll warm me up.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 25/02/2008 22:18

Forget about it until the morning and sleep well jammy!

Thanks daisy, I may get him a couple of pink! Dp would kill me! Dd and I dressed him as a fairy the other day, he looked very cute!

Um, dd has just found a piece of cucumber somewhere and has just given it to ds! Don't know where she got it from, but we had salad for dinner tonight, so fortunately it isn't old! He is loving it!

I think my dd needs to go back to bed!

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 25/02/2008 22:25

I can't believe your DCs are still up holly.

My evenings are too precious for that...in bed by 8pm at the latest here!

DD was eating cat food again earlier. I think she ate more nibbles than the bloody cat did today. Then she up-ended the water and nibbles all over the floor.

she got very cross when I lifted her off the floor and then closed the kitchen door.

I wish my washing machine would hurry up, or I'll have no nappies for tomorrow.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 25/02/2008 22:31

Well...dd was in bed by 8.30, but she has got up again! She had a big sleep this afternoon, so prob isn't tired.

My washing machine has just finished, so I'd better go and empty it and have a lemsip...

...oh and put my Didymos on ebay!

HellHathNoFury · 26/02/2008 09:15

Morning all, hope you are all well.

I am dead tired having been up 5 times in the night with a teething DS.

I am also pissed off, I have sent emails etc to so many people (friends) lately, just saying hi etc, and no-one bothers to respond.
I don't think I shall bother in future.
Pah.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 26/02/2008 10:18

morning fury. I've had the night from hell as well. DD woke up as i was going to bed and didn't settle again until 12:30, then she was up again at 3:30 and 5:30. Mammoth feeding frenzy going on, so I guess she must be having another growth spurt.

we are having a lazy day today as a result.

HellHathNoFury · 26/02/2008 10:22

I want a lazy day

yes DS had about 10oz during the night, WAY more than normal, perhaps it is a growth spurt time?

Sputnik · 26/02/2008 10:48

Sorry about your bad nights, that must be awful with a 5.30 start Fury. Maybe it is growth spurt time, mine is wanting 2 good feeds in the night lately.

foxythesnowman · 26/02/2008 10:57

Feeding frenzy here too.

So I am perfectly entitled to a lazy day. Which means I can be on here! We're your friends Fury. We're always here to talk to. You don't need those other "friends"!

I was worried that everytime she'd cough she'd puke, so I'd immediately jump up and check on here. Not much sleeping done. And DD1 joined us at 2am to tell me she'd wee'd in her pull-up. Huh?!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 10:59

Oh fury, you poor thing. It must be really
shit having to go to work after a bad night. I bet you really look forward to the weekends.

Daisy, are you feeling better today?

My throat is so sore I can't swallow properly and keep getting bits of food stuck half way down. Soup for lunch and dinner for me I think!

Sputnik, we are feeding about 2xs a night too. I have just seen the outline of a top tooth though, so he might be waking because of the pain and comfort feeding back to sleep. Not that he's ever slept through. The longest we've ever gone is 1-6.30.

foxythesnowman · 26/02/2008 11:00

no, I didn't check on here. that would be too much even for me. check on her. soz.

foxythesnowman · 26/02/2008 11:00

You need ice cream Holly, and lots of it!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 11:02

Lazy day here too! I need to wait in for various couriers to collect things from me, but I feel too rough to go out anyway, so it is fine!

My dd does that foxy. She was a right PITA last night and kept getting out of bed and getting in with us. Then she weed and I had to change her and dp got pissed off and ended up on the sofa...so there was a positive to the night's actions!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 11:04

Ice cream would be good atch! I have none though , but I do have some frozen yoghurt I may tuck into in a bit. It is home-made and I forgot to keep stirring it, so it is quite solid!

HellHathNoFury · 26/02/2008 11:21

holly ice cream will help your throat! and hot chocolate!
Actually I like crisps and toast when I have a sore throat, I don't chew them so they scratch it on the way down, the pain is pleasurable iyswim. Or I am weird.

I am tired yes - nursery just called he has been screaming solidly for 45 minutes. I wonder what's wrong with him.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 26/02/2008 11:34

a bit better thanks. It's worse when I'm outside in the cold....ear muffs anyone?

Trying to get DD to sleep. She is sooo tired and grumpy (just like her mum), but just won't settle. She's quiet for five minutes, then starts shouting again. I'll maybe try some teething powders, but there is no associated dribbling.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 11:44

Glad you are feeling a bit better daisy.

My dd is sat on the sofa watching Nick Jr and it just said that the Wonder Pets is coming up next. Then I hear "Not bloody Wonder Pets!" come out of her mouth! She must have heard that from me, I am a bad, bad mother!

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 26/02/2008 11:45

I heart wonderpets

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 11:46

They'd be ok if they didn't fucking sing all the time! It makes my head hurt!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/02/2008 11:47

"This is see-wee-us, we have to help him" FUCK OFF!!

HellHathNoFury · 26/02/2008 11:50

Here Holly
Have some ibuprofen
and possibly valium
and I think I may join you
