Couldn't resist, hope this is OK with y'all?

name change is a nod to my sloppy birth control measures

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 14:39

and foxy...you are welcome

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 14:49

Norty - your "I never knew I could worry so much" made me smile because its so true, isn't it?

Delish Daisy. No need, but what a delightful treat

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 14:51

Is lacksadaisical really a word?

I know what it means, but its an odd word.

hmm, I'm probably best not pondering this one outside of my own head am I?

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 14:53

just a wee thank you for keeping me sane last week with your sage advice

I've just dscovered gluten free jaffa cakes . I'm in jaffa cake heaven. I haven't had one for over three years; no excuse really, but I've scoffed eight since lunchtime

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 14:54

oh, its not lacksadasical but lackadaisical.

God, I'm bored today.

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 14:54

here

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 14:54

so did DP bring you anything nice back from his weekend away foxy?

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 14:56

You'll need to leave us to find the AN thread soon I fear

Not because you need the support of other PG ladies.

Not because you will have any questions that can't be answered here by us.

Not because you need to make new friends - no one could love you more than we do.

But because you are going to be able to STUFF YOUR FACE WITH LINDT EASTER EGGS AS WE DID LAST YEAR

annobal · 04/03/2008 14:59

LOL FOxy. Love the new name Daisy

So much for getting stuff done today, I've just spent the last hour reading Lulu's ghost thread - really spooky!

Guess I should get DCs lunch now (just kidding!)

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 14:59

if he did Daisy, he's forgotten to give it to me.

I, once again, am firmly ensconced on the moral highground as I remembered to go and get him a CD, released yesterday, to go with the tickets I got him for a gig tonight.

I am a much better person than he is.

He took me out for dinner last night. I didn't want to go, but am glad I did. We didn't talk about the children all night. (and we were talking, not rowing or sulking).

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:00

YAWN...I'm bored too. Dp went to a school thing for one of his boys. He said he'd be back at 1.30. He's only just left London. So yet another day of holiday wasted.

Fury, that is shit about the nursery, but good about the jewellery!

annobal · 04/03/2008 15:01

Wow, Foxy, what's that like??

(Not for you, its been so long i just don't remember it )

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 15:01

ooh, I saw that the other day. Makes me feel a bit ooooooooohhh.

At least you remembered to feed them, eventually.

Fury - what is the problem with DS's nursery. Other than generally crapness?

annobal · 04/03/2008 15:02

good that you're moving him Fury!

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 15:02

Oh balls Holly! We could have met up if you'd come with him.

Shitey shite, school run time

annobal · 04/03/2008 15:03

I'm making DCs come downstairs with me!

HellHathNoFury · 04/03/2008 15:05

too many to describe without it being an essay but in a nutshell:

poor security measures
poor hygeine measures
not enough encouragement for free thinking and creative play
not requesting parents permission before administering medicine
not advising parents of progress or weaknesses in any areas

nice one hey

Foxy you made me laugh with that' maybe I should not ponder this outside of my own head'

I want to take a week off and play with my friends

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:07

I know foxy, that's partly why I'm so pissed off. I have just hung up on him. He has pissed me off. This school thing wasn't even important, but dp had to go because the exw has been banned from school because of her behaviour. She is a stupid bitch.

Daisy, glad your dd is better. My ds has been like that the past few days. He is better today though, but hasn't eaten any solids for ages. I forgot about the bf nappies though...yuk!

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:09

Oh bollocks, ds has just broken my new vase.

HellHathNoFury · 04/03/2008 15:14

Holly your DS sounds like a little terror

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:16

'Tis my fault. It is one of those tall vases you put sticks in and I thought it would look quite nice in the fireplace...well ds thought it looked quite nice too and decided to play with it. Now it is smashed.

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:19

Prima Baby mag have just phoned me and are going to send me one of these to test. DP is going to go mad I tell you! MAD!

HellHathNoFury · 04/03/2008 15:21

oh too funny

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 15:23

Are you going to buy yourself a necklace with the voucher fury or something else? How exciting!
