Actually I haven't touched alcohol for days. I am being very clean living atm. Perhaps that is the problem

Just I took along time posting that post as the baby keeps waking so the conversation had moved on somewhat from Irish milk production.

Oh just forget it.

Sputnik · 27/02/2008 21:37

Off to bed with my chamomile tea. Night all

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 27/02/2008 22:31

Yeah, Irish chamomile tea

LittleMissNorty · 28/02/2008 08:23

Morning all

I like Thursdays.....me & DD are off into town to get Mothers Day presents (not for me I hasten to add....)

Hope LOs are better Andie and Foxy and haven't given you difficult nights?

Oh Daisy, I'm so excited for you....my DHs face was a pic when I told him.....OMG! He'd be terrified if it were us

Right, DD gone to sleep for nap so I've got 30 mins to get dishwasher emptied, dryer emptied and put away, tidy up, get ready to go out...

later x

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 28/02/2008 08:26

Aw norty, do what I do during DD's morning nap, have a cup tea, cereal and mumsnet!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 28/02/2008 08:27

Morning!

I love thursdays too norty! We are off to toddler group in a bit and then to feed the ducks.

Daisy, I got your email at 1.45 this morning. Hotmail is shit! I've replied anyway, but if you don't get it let me know and I'll send it again.

Better go, my ds smells of poo!

xx

FairyFay · 28/02/2008 09:49

Good morning everyone. I am irrationally tired and pissed off with life today so will just lurk but thought I'd say hello before disappearing.

HellHathNoFury · 28/02/2008 10:08

Hi Fairy,
Ditto.
And I made my mother cry.

HellHathNoFury · 28/02/2008 10:10

I have to deal with a stupid bugaboo woman
this weekend we are drving to essex for an overnighter for sisters 40th
same next weekend for mums 60th
as well as working mon-fri and getting DS in a new nursery

As well as cooking a thai banquet for mum on mothers day

when the f*ck am I meant to do the ironing, clean the bathroom, the shopping, etc etc?!

I am knackered. I want a peaceful life. One without quite so much to do.

HellHathNoFury · 28/02/2008 10:11

oh and also I am squeezing in a haircut for me and the dog to be groomed as well.

I need a clone.

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 28/02/2008 10:57

Morning andie,fairy and fury.

What's up fairy?

Fury I am exhausted just looking at that list!

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 28/02/2008 10:59

Ok, DH is taking DD out tomorrow so I can have the day to myself (yay!) what should I do? Cheap ideas please!

HellHathNoFury · 28/02/2008 12:46

oi Bumper it's my job to kill the threads!

I would go shopping! And try on lots of things without a DD audience!

oh bugger I just remembered you're not allowed to do that

Read a book and watch a movie in peace!

LittleMissNorty · 28/02/2008 12:57

Oh Bumper - I would go back to bed with a cup of tea (having organised DH and provided instructions etc), have another couple of hours sleep, wake-up and read a mag / book, get up, have a long bubble bath and see to shaving, nails etc, get out of the bath straight into a clean nightie and then sit in front of a film and wait for dinner to be cooked for me......

Can you tell I'm and need some time to myself

milkyJammy · 28/02/2008 13:05

I think the luxurious bath sounds good. And reading a good (but not necessarily high brow) book in peace with a pot of tea and a packet of biscuits (so not too expensive).

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 28/02/2008 13:45

I just fucking locked myself out ! I'm a dick!

I went to toddler group without my keys and had to stand on my doorstep with the dcs for over an hour! Luckily dp could pop home and open the door for me. I am now feeling very cranky and cold!

Bumper, I would stay in bed all day! Maybe watch a bit of tv and sit on MN in peace. Wow, it sounds lovely!
