IDOC, it definitely went, unless I have an incorrect email address for you. Do you want to email me - the talk talk address?

Zaza's lovely to see you. Good luck with the house move and with S's test results.

POTC, Gethin Jones is deeeeelicious isn't he!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/02/2008 20:44

I stopped watching Strictly when he went out

SOL did you see that Katy had sent you an email?

Idreamofchocolate · 12/02/2008 20:48

SOL - have emailed you!

OK off to bed now, hopefully will catch up with you all very soon...back to the ravages of work tomorrow and the madness of rushing about. Will try to be a better MNer and be on more often from now onwards!

Love to you all xxx

Sexonlegs · 12/02/2008 21:07

Katy, have emailed you back just now. Thanks for reminding me POTC

runnyhabbit · 12/02/2008 21:10

I did try to cath up on the thread to do personals...
but then you went and mentioned Gethin....sigh.....he is sooooo lovely I am not ashamed to say that I have a HUGE crush on him. And after watching him perform the salsa on SCD, I told dh to go and get some skintight lycra, and take dancing lessons

I've come over all hot and bothered just thinking about him. Best lie down in a darkened room

Sexonlegs · 12/02/2008 21:23

Runny, ikwym, I am mopping up the dribble as we speak!!!

Pesha · 12/02/2008 21:27

Just dont get it I'm afraid! But then I dont watch SCD so perhaps thats where his magic lies...?

Although men poncing around dancing doesnt really do it for me, I like 'em rough!!

runnyhabbit · 12/02/2008 21:31

Right, have managed to compose myself I think

I'll have you know that I ballroom danced from the age of 4 right through til I was 13, so I am fully justified in watching men in skintight clothing for the technical side

I do love the fact that SCD get these great big strapping rugby/cricket/sporty blokes on, and turn them into fab dancers. A bit like My Fair Lady. Iyswim.

elkiedee · 12/02/2008 22:20

Nice to see you Zazas, though you probably won't get to see this post.

Took D to childminders this morning and left him there for a couple of hours. It was very weird getting on a bus to go shopping without him, kept staring longingly at the pram in front of me. He apparently did cry but seemed calm but glad to see me when I collected him to go to Baby and Me group. Am taking him there on Friday.

NorthernLurker · 12/02/2008 22:25

well done Elkie - it's tough isn't it. Hope you get on well on Friday as well - what will you do with the time?

elkiedee · 12/02/2008 22:37

I've actually made an appointment for a smear test, they've been writing to me since about the time I became pregnant and the system didn't stop generating the letters throughout that time. Not exciting, is it? But I don't think I could sit down here and enjoy the time.

NorthernLurker · 12/02/2008 22:38

sorry I asked now - at least go for a nice cup of coffee afterwards!!

CaptainDippy · 12/02/2008 22:55

Glad it went ok with the CM, Elkie

Hello Zazas!!

CaptainDippy · 12/02/2008 22:56

I think Gethin Jones looks a bit wonky personally!!

Katherine Jenkins is nauseating, IDOC - completely agree....

elkiedee · 12/02/2008 23:07

Well, I'm taking D swimming later and then meeting someone else with her baby for coffee later. The pool is near one of North London's nicest parks, complete with a cafe, duck pond and deer enclosure.

StealthPolarBear · 13/02/2008 08:36

glad the job's going well NL - hope you get your trip to stockholm.
Good to see you zazas, hope everything settles soon. Lol at S preferring to be repositioned - does she give you coordinates?
weeonion and SOL - thank you for all your help, you were fantastic! (sorry if this now means you are inundated ) Will send that today if work ever unlock my NHS email
elkie I know exactly how you feel. I love shopping (supermarket) with T but it does take longer. I went alone the other day and found myself really missing him and talking to the empty toddler seat . Your park sounds lovely, I wish we had that kind of thing.
T currently eating a breadstick
off the floor
from yesterday
someone tell me how bad that is? and that I haven't stopped him
He slept really well last night! DIdn't get him to bed early, must do that tonight but he did eat, for some unknown reason. He slept until 4.45! Thehn he went back to sleep until 6 after that. I then put him in his car seat (would have brought him in with us but our bed is currently under half an inch of dust ) and he slept till 7.30!!

CaptainDippy · 13/02/2008 09:41

Yey for better night SPB .... and the breadstick's fine - germs will build up his immune system

liath · 13/02/2008 09:42

Hi folks, haven't been around much as dh had man flu (in bed, sweats, sore throat etc) and I had mummy-flu - ie the same symptoms but up and looking after the kids. Ds has had boy-flu I think.

Anyway, it's a glorious day so we're dosed up on ibuprofen and going to the zoo!!

Will try to catch up at some point but am struggling to keep up with the threads at the moment so really sorry for lack of personals,

CaptainDippy · 13/02/2008 09:44

Enjoy the Zoo Liath, hope you're all feeling better soon. xx

Maveta · 13/02/2008 09:49

Hi Zazas! good to see you. Liath, hope you get well soon.

Hi CD and SPB!

SPB our boys' connection is just weird. We had a good night too. N woke up at 10pm so i thought we were in for a rotten one, but I fed him and thought I might aswell change his nappy to hopefully save us a job later on and he slept til 4am too! went straight back down til 7.30am which in fact meant we were woken by the alarm and not him which NEVER happens. So I was late to work. But it's a happy late!

Happy days.

zazas · 13/02/2008 10:03

Morning - could get use to this again!
SPB - yes S just crawls all of maybe three moves in the direction of what she wants then sits, arms out and gives a shriek - lovely!
Pesha you made me laugh -'get to the bottom of it' - since that is where all the problems are a nice pun.
IDC - I hope you also feel better and you and DH find some time together - it is easy to just go through motions of being a couple. However I feel with Spring around the corner things usually improve. Yes the house is lovely - although it has taken so long it will be quite a shock to actually go back into it! Kids have not seen inside yet - very excited.
Hi elkie - it is hard leaving them isn't it but it gets easier, one day at a time.
Hi SOL, CD and Maveta!

I just want to say we had such a big, fat, crap night with S - she was awake from 4.43 until 6.04 (me watching the clock tick by...) I need strong coffee - now!

CaptainDippy · 13/02/2008 10:07

Glad you had a better night too Maveta Sorry you had a crap one though Zazas Go drink that coffee ...... .....

StealthPolarBear · 13/02/2008 10:09

oh no zazas
Maveta, definitely twins separated at birth...so which one of us just had a bit of man-flu on the day we'claimed' to give birth?
(When was N born? Was it around the 27th too? There were a few of us I remember, think weeonion's C was one of them)

StealthPolarBear · 13/02/2008 10:09

Meant to say I'm p;leased you had a good night too of course maveta
