Dippy, has the doc been yet? Hope all is ok.

Pesha · 18/02/2008 14:48

Dippy - glad doctor is coming out to you and WOOOOOHOOOOO for the job!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Have just found out xp has not been paid last months maintenance I thought it was just CSA being crap as usual but no it was him.

And dp's excess is £400 not £250 and I've still not found my £40 Lets hope thats our run of 3 cos we cant afford anything else. We cant afford all that actually so gonna have to borrow from somewhere/someone.

Just hope I get one of the many jobs I've applied for of we're fucked gonna be a bit skint!

Pesha · 18/02/2008 14:57

Sorry that should be 'he has not paid' not 'he has not been paid'. Dont know where the been came from

CaptainDippy · 18/02/2008 15:39

They are both sleeping again now. The Dr has been and looked at DD's 2 & 3 and prescribed anti-b's. A friend has taken DD1 to go and get them, which is nice. Can't wait til DH gets home .....

{{{{{{{Pesha}}}}}}} How well I know those desperate feelings concerning money - to your XP!!! Really hoping you can find the money from somewhere sweetie. We are bearly affording to live atm, it is a bit scary to say the least. xx

mammyjo · 18/02/2008 15:45

Dippy, hope everything went ok with the doc. Am hoping that your not being here just means you are having a busy afternoon

Pesha, what a nightmare that lot is. I wouldnt have £400 to fork out for an excess either, thats for sure. I am applying to join a nursing agency so that I can work a few extra shifts each month. With having to pay F's nursery fees now we are not left with much. Also, does anyone else feel like the amount they spend each week on food is going up and up? I spent £90 today, and yes I had nappies in there, but other than that it was the weekly supplies. No extras and no luxuries (except for £10 on a present for friends ds birthday). I shop in Tesco but am looking forward to our new Asda opening up soon as I am hoping it will be cheaper!! Kids are so expensive

mammyjo · 18/02/2008 15:46

Cd, x posted with you then. Glad you sorted things out and you are getting the antibiotics. Fingers crossed that they are on the mend very soon xxx

StealthPolarBear · 18/02/2008 15:49

glad the doc has been and they're bothasleep dippy.
pesha, you are having dreadful luck! what were the circumstances around the £40 (I was going to say "where did you lose it?" but...)
t just fallen asleep on me! New trick is standing unaided, he did it for the 1st time a few weeks ago but has been doing it loads today! he looks so impressed when he does it

geordiemacminx · 18/02/2008 16:55

Congrats on the job Dippy

Good luck Runny.

Pesha- hope things start and look up for you - I used to have a £400 excess on my insurance - its a real bummer!!!

I think my child has been snorting blue smarties... he is absolutely wild today. Has emptied cats water bowl, pulled clothes airer, telephone, picture frame and his activity table over, pulled wires out of modem, managed to open the drawer on the dvd player and was last seen swinging from the stair gate - both feet off the ground.. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

StealthPolarBear · 18/02/2008 17:11

lol gmm

runnyhabbit · 18/02/2008 17:29

Interview went ok....I think Only downside is that they would like someone with Health & Safety experience. Very friendly so we'll wait and see.

Neighbours have a girl! Don't know any other details yet (only knew it was a girl because of the baby girl banner on their front door)

Best go and feed the children

x

StealthPolarBear · 18/02/2008 17:37

when do you expect to hear runny?
for your neighbours. oooooooh would love a little girl.

NorthernLurker · 18/02/2008 17:44

Steady SPB - we'll add you to Octo's list!!!

StealthPolarBear · 18/02/2008 17:50

new title - "round pizzas and egg shaped bumps"?

cazboldy · 18/02/2008 18:07

The house has fallen through - she has decided to sell so not sure where that leaves us at the minute - haven't seen dh yet today

Wow MJ lovely parents indeed, although my dad is pretty fab......freezing fog (-5 here this morning), doing the school run, half way there and we got a flat tyre. He came and rescued me and changed the tyre and paid for a new one as I am so skint atm

Dippy CONGRATULATIONS and sorry about your lo's Molly had CP when she was only 3 weeks bless her, but she only had 7 spots. ds1 had them when he was 8 though, and his were terrible, in his ears, mouth, even on his eyelids. I had to call the doctor out, as he couldn't bear to move, and he ended up sedating him for 3 days

Get you Runny, mixing with celebs - you sure you want to talk to us lesser mortals? and the same pushchair glad the interview went well.

Sexonlegs · 18/02/2008 18:08

Go for it SPB - this thread is way too long!

Runny, hope you get the job !

All ok here. Work was boring all day.
Dh took K to the docs and she has been prescribed Brolene drops. Hope they work.
She is due at nursery tomorrow and fortunately their policy is that they can attend as long as they are not poorly. Thankfully she seems fine in herself.

How are all the poorly babes?

GMM, pmsl at the image of C swinging about!

Sexonlegs · 18/02/2008 18:10

Caz, x posted there. I am so sorry to hear about the house. What a pita. Hope something else comes up that is suitable.

cazboldy · 18/02/2008 18:10

Glad you got something for K, SOL, and glad she is well in herself

cazboldy · 18/02/2008 18:14

and then I x - posted with you

thanks for that, but I don't think the farmer can wait much longer - he needed someone like yesterday - his last man has already left. and can't find anything remotely suitable, anywhere near, have looked already

I think dh needs to give it up for a lost cause - but not sure he will agree

Funny story about brolene drops - when I was little I hand reared 2 kittens, and they had sticky eyes and the vet told me to get them some brolene drops at the chemist as they would work better than what he could give them and they did, so hope they work for K

Sexonlegs · 18/02/2008 18:17

Caz, how sweet re the Brolene drops for the kittens. K's nickname is Kitten funnily enough!!

runnyhabbit · 18/02/2008 18:24

lol at me mixing with celebs

caz pants about the house
sol hope Ks eyes get better soon
spb lol at wanting a little girl agree with sol, best get you on octos list!

J has been a pita today Potty training getting better - he tells me when he's just started to wee sometimes we get there in time, sometimes we don't. But tonight, he would not eat his dinner, so I told him no pudding. I think he shook the foundations with his screaming. So stuck them in the bath at 6pm, and dh has just walked in, so he can do bedtime Think I could with a glass of wine cup of tea

PillockOfTheCommunity · 18/02/2008 18:47

caz about the house
dippy about the job about the poorly little dipsters

I'm off to a Parish council meeting tonight, oh the joys!
On the plus side, the boys are in bed already so Skott will have an easy night - I hope!

Justin just called, he's unemployed AGAIN thought he'd better tell me as it won't effect this month's money but might do next month, but no, he won't be cancelling his 2 week holiday
