Leo cracked me up earlier. He has been unsettled in the night for a while (has had ear and chest infection and been on antibiotics) so I thought I would try him in a bottle of formula before bed incase he was not getting enough milk to satisfy him from me.

Anyways, he has never had a teat and he did not know what to do with it so he kept biting it and pulling it with his teeth which probably felt good on his teethign gums but everytime he pulled it and let go it sprayed him with milk in the face and he looked so shocked, his face was a picture.

I then switched the teat for a teat to cup trainign spout and the milk came through and he just let it run out the sides of his mouth so not a great success but not traumatic

Sexonlegs · 14/02/2008 21:35

Dippy, what a lovely thing to do for Runny.
Glad the interview went well, and hope you get good news on Monday.

Caz, enjoy your time with Molly

Pesha, I have no idea what is going on with the emails as I haven't had them. I'll see if they come tomorrow. If not, I'll give you my work email address and you can send it there.

How is everyone tonight. All off being lovey dovey for Valentines Day??
We are hopefully going out tomorrow night.

Took B to her school Valentine Disco tonight which was good, although B was a pita at times. She is being a handful atm.
K has finally got some teeth. The 2 bottom ones have just broken through. She has been as good as gold with them bless her.

No school tomorrow as there is a teacher training day, so may not get much time to post.

Hope everyone is ok. Heading to bed now, as am shattered. Night all. xx

CaptainDippy · 14/02/2008 21:54

Night SOL, I am stil urking, on the verge of going to bed, but proving difficult hwile DH is hammering away, having decided removing the wooden clading from above the stairs is definitely the best thing to do at this time of night.

Pesha · 14/02/2008 21:59

I am urking too dippy!

elkiedee · 14/02/2008 22:05

Funny coincidence POTC, I just watched Casualty too as I didn't see it at my mum's. I agree, it was sad.

Goodnight to our urkers.

Pesha · 14/02/2008 22:12

Lol - that was my mums one stipulation of babysitting for me saturday night - she had to be able to watch casualty!!

Maveta · 15/02/2008 06:16

thanks for understanding POTC. I should have properly checked before I offered I guess but I didn´t think he was going to go all neanderthal on me

Was quiet on here last night, hope you all had a nice one. Dh was at school and got in at 10pm, just as my parents brought us round pizzas from the restaurant they´d gone to eat at awwww. very sweet of them. so we had a kind of valentine´s meal after all. And he did give me a rose which was lovely, I always forget

StealthPolarBear · 15/02/2008 06:24

Morning
Maveta, I was going to ask what shape are your pizzas normally? Then I reread it and it made a bit more sense.
How was your night?

Maveta · 15/02/2008 08:16

yes that was rather badly written It wasgood, not as good as the one before but he only woke at 2am and then at 6.30am. You?

Eddas · 15/02/2008 08:32

Hi everyone, not been on for a few days, haven't tried to catch up

Hope everyone's ok, 'see you' later

StealthPolarBear · 15/02/2008 08:35

almost exactly the same - 3am I think (or maybe 2) and then just before 6.
Hi Eddas - where have you been??

Eddas · 15/02/2008 08:41

hi spb, not sure where i've been. Too tired mostly.

DS has started waking at 2-3am for the past week probably i've got up and given him some milk but last night I gave him his dummy and left him to cry worked though as he didn't wake til 7.30 after that little bugger To be fair he got a tooth yesterday so I guess that's why he's been waking YAY first tooth

DH took dd swimming yesterday and text to say she'd fallen over and banged her head. When she got home she had a huge egg shaped bump on the back of her head she'd been running, even though dh kept telling her not too. She fell and smacked her head on the floor Bet she won't do it again It's not so egg shaped this morning and apparently egg shaped is good with a bump on the head

StealthPolarBear · 15/02/2008 08:44

to first tooth - hope your nights improve
Hope your DD is feeling better today, I've heard that about egg shaped bumps too!
