Juicylucytoo · 31/03/2008 09:32

Regarding that last bit of weight I have another problem. I weigh what I did before I got pg (finally), but there seems to have been a, hmm, redistribution of my weight.

I now have tiny boobs and love handles, which I only used to get when I put weight on. Bit rubbish, as now can no longer divert attention away from mid-section with my cleavage

Lupins71 · 31/03/2008 10:46

JL I too have redistribution lol, my boobs have moved further down and my middle has got the love handles so my middle feels alot bigger than ever bacause theres more going on across there, going to have to start doing my tae bo again if i ever get time, trouble is i have fab legs and bum it just all goes tits down and my love of the ol' choc bar and these lovely devon cakes isnt helping, i did get to pre preg weight but have put quite a bit back on - bugger

largeginandtonic · 31/03/2008 12:07

It seems we have a common problem girls, i too feel a lot bigger round the waist and my cleavage is disappointing. I have just been to tesco to find non tight fitting tops for my middle. I have not had this problem before, it seems one too many children has tipped the scales... literally

Weather lovely, feel much better this week. Have been incredibly moody recently. Poor dh has suffered the brunt of it, bless him.

I went to KK when i was at Tesco (Hugo's fault entirely) but had a cinnamon apple donut as a healthy alternative, no?

cameroonmama · 31/03/2008 12:17

fame at last, it really works! I really wanted to win the baby einstein competition. J standing infront of me trying to dismantle the laptop cable with snot running out of his nose...now where did I put that vaseline?

Mucho redistribution here too. I always have had a really flat stomach, now it is not. BAH. The dc asked for more babies this morning, I told them they had a puppy what more did they want?

Talking of puppy, she is very cute and quite easy going. My problem is not so much J and her but the chickens and her! It was a sight to see dd chasing the puppy who was chasing 3 chickens who were indignant about their free range garden coming under attack. Another tip of the day is don't get a puppy if you have free range chickens. DD is obsessed by her and we have launched into full puppy training mode already. Jam do you use a choke chain on Louis?

Sorry JL about AF, more practice needed by you and LG&T, pity those poor dhs who are going to be knackered by next month.

Dc went to Easter holiday Sport Camp this am. And they are off to swim in a friend's pool this pm. Only 3 more weeks to go til school starts...

largeginandtonic · 31/03/2008 12:31

Ohmigod, dh just phoned to say he is away next week. He said at least the kids are off school... i mean what on Earth is he thinking?

Cam poor J, is he unwell or just a snot monster. Chickens and a dog, madness. I can just imagine it! Cam if you want anything sending over (tops included ) just let me know. Not sure what i would do without tesco clothes

mom2latinoboys · 31/03/2008 12:39

Well ladies I've lost 6 pounds in 5 days. So only 50 more pregnancy pounds to lose. who ever said that bfing helps you lose weight is a big fat liar. I gained 5 pounds while bfing. So I'm taking drastic measures and cutting dairy and carbs out of my diet. So I'm allowing myself to eat protein, fruits, and vegs. I did this after having Mateo and lost 50 pounds in 3 months so hopefully it will happen again. I am a woman on a mission.

Mum2G · 31/03/2008 12:49

oh poo - have got the HIP surveyor booked in for tuesday at 1pm pm now and don't know how long he will be, could we possibly make it another day? How about wednesay pm?

SKYTVADDICT · 31/03/2008 13:24

LG&T- breath slowly! Its quite funny that he thinks it will be easier if the kids are off!!

I am at work all week and already fed up. My mum has had to fetch DD1 from school as she is ill and has had to cancel her bowls. C is at a completely new childminder as his can't take him extra days. She seems lovely though and has texted to say he is fine. Thank god he is an easy baby!! He is going Wednesady too all being well and my mum was already having him tomorrow so if DD1 is still ill she will have her too!

I really need to give up work and really don't need this stress at 21 weeks pregnant but have to stay until 27 June and then maybe even come back . We just can't manage without money!

Lupins71 · 31/03/2008 15:21

CAM a halti would be a better option than a choke chain, at least until she learns some basic obediance, also try a water squirter to distract from chickens - like a plant sprayer or such like, each time she pays any attention to the chickens give her a good squirt on the face (no im not kidding) and you will get her attention again, alternativly try and shake a plastic bottle with a few pebbles in it - so it makes a distracting noise - any info needed on dogs please ask i have gawd knows how many books and years experiance with the little beasties, stan is the most tryimg testing dog i have ever known but somehow we have managed

LGT yummy donuts mmmmmmm drool drool, glad you are feeling a bit perkier, you need a nice break down in sunny devon, arghhhh at your dh going away next week - we will all be here for you, keep popping the pills it will be ok

M2LB I too put on weight while bf dd, I was a megabiffa, my friend went like a rake - the cow , well done on losing the weight before fingers crossed for this time

SKY sorry to here lo is poorly, thank heavens you have your mum around to help, glad the cm is working out

I have been for long walk today, the scenery is so beautiful around here, i walked down to a millhouse - with bloody flat tyre, dp still didnt fix it grrr, pushing uphill with a flatty is no fun, i am a good walker but that was bloomin hard going

TillyScoutsmum · 31/03/2008 16:39

Hi all

Meggle well done on the school place, dds school only has 77 pupils ages 5 - 11 she has come on leaps and bounds, really seems to be enjoying it, she has to get a school bus there as i dont drive but again that adds to the adventure, I looked at getting a weimeraner once, cant remember why i didnt but they are lovely dogs, my poor little stan got his ear ripped by one tho when he was a puppy, funny how dreams do that isnt it i have been having some most inappropriate ones at the mo oh well they are enjoyable at the time - just as well i dont have to look these people in the eye lol

I wouldnt say shy altho she can be but she is one of the quieter children and she is a thinker and learner rather than someone full of energy and being loud and into running around iykwim, she does enjoy a good run around but would be happier sitting colouring or doing craft stuff quietly or talking about animals, wish i could cook some cakes, still havent got the oil for the rayburn and dont have electric cooker atm - suppose i could have a go in combi microwave - just a bit worried what the results would be lol, im sure you will be pleased with your decision to choose a little school - we looked at the bigger local school it ended up being further away in the end, i would say it seemed to have more going on and more facitlities, dd's school doesnt even have a school hall - it is just 3 classrooms, reception and yr1, yrs2 & 3, and yrs 4,5,6, but i am really happy this definatly suits her, she has leapt 2 book colour in 5 weeks whereas she was stuck on the 1st colour after a full term at her other school

My living room carpet arrived today wahayyyy!!!!. It only took 6wks The only problem is it is sooo big we have had to stand it up at MIL's house (no room in ours) and tie it to the stair rail to keep it safe until the weekend when dh can fit it It was the only place it would fit.

Finally it seems my living room is going to be finished. Its only taken about 2months lol. We also ordered our new 40inch flat screen tv today (what is it with men and big tv's)thats due to be delivered to MIL's house (in case we arent in) on Thursday Now all i need is the new sideboard I want and it will be finished

J is going to watch the Pompey match on Saturday, not at wembley though (unless I win one of the many comps ive entered)My neighbour's dad won 10 tickets to watch the match on a big screen somewhere in Portsmouth (no ones sure of where yet, we find out tomorrow)They will get vip treatment, a full english breakfast, free drinks, the works. Dh was invited but he turned it down so he can do our front room

It dawned on me today that Im going to be 30 soon Its my friends birthday, and I got to remembering all the birthdays we celebrated together, our last big one being our 21st and it made me realise how much life has changed and how quickly it has flown by. I got all nostalgic. For our 21st's we went clubbing, sat up til the next morning chatting, having a laugh, I was a fun loving single mum and he was young free and single with not a care in the world. Fast forward 9yrs and he is a Royal Marine and im a married mum of 3, shocking how things change and you dont really pay attention. If someone had predicted where we would be now I think we would have laughed in their faces, 30 seemed such a long way off. In a way its quite scary how quickly those 9yrs have flown by so Ive decided that im not going to waste any more time. I keep putting things off, saying i will do it in a couple of years time, things like learning to drive, going back to college, tracing old friends/cousins ive lost track with etc but from now on im going to make the effort to do them otherwise I will still be sat here when im 40,50,60 wondering where the time went.

Pebblemum · 31/03/2008 23:20

Oops meant to say M2G sorry you cant make it tomorrow. Any day this week is ok with me. I dont mind meeting LG&T tomorrow and then coming another day to meet you as well or putting it off until we can all meet together, Im easy

Also Im with all you others that have been moaning about their love handles. Im the biggest ive ever been and its really annoying me now. I accept that after 3kids im never going to be a size 8-10 again and thats fine, I just wish that I didnt have the body of the michellin man

largeginandtonic · 01/04/2008 08:20

Morning all.

Shall we meet on Wednesday or Thursday pm then? No preference really except Wednesday i will have Hugo.

Meggle it is amazing how quickly they have healed, the craters that Hugs had are just red pits now but not too bad really. If you ever meet Jonah you will see he is covered in scars, they are everywhere He got a secondary infection and his little body will be scared for life.

I love Weimeraners (sp?) have always wanted one, it's those eyes. Soooo lovely. My ex p and his fiancee (PMSL, sorry) has just got a Weimeraner\dalmation cross. They off to dog borstal with it as i think they are finding her a 'challenge'

Work this morning, oh the joy...

Lupins71 · 01/04/2008 08:49

MEGGLE Stan is fab with the kids, arlen crawls all over him, pulls his ears, tail beard, willow was the same and is always bossing him around, he has only growled a couple of times but to be honest i cant blame him with what willow does to him, i trust him 95% with them i know it would be something pretty major to make him turn

LGT thats an interesting dog cross, not surprised its off to dog borstol

anyone watching gmtv - this sotox cream, looks a bit too good to be true

Pebblemum · 01/04/2008 09:04

I was watching it Its got to ba na an April Fools, the girl was obviously wearing a 'fat' suit, it just didnt look natural. Wish it was true though, imagine bein able to lose that mush weight in such a short time

LG&T I can do both days so its up to M2G.
