charleymouse · 08/03/2008 21:28

Aagh how cute he looks adorable and will be such a good companion to A. Just hide the jimmychoos.

AprilMeadow · 08/03/2008 21:48

Hey Charley, wow i think you must get an award for the longest post that covered pretty much every poster Sorry to hear that G is a bit under the weather. But well done on the weight front! Ella is 18lbs 8 oz so not that much more.

JIMW - that has to be the cutest little puppy in the world!! What's his name? A looks HUGE and totaly gorgeous btw

Lupins71 · 08/03/2008 22:56

JIMW what a little cutie, he is adorable, how was the journey, dd keeps compaining of sore tummy but no squiffiness yet

CM well done on the weight

Went to the docs yesterday an picked up forms, they dont do a baby clinic as such - you make an appt, suppose it stops all the hussle and bussle but was hoping it would be a good place to meet some mums, oh well will have to find mum and baby group

Lupins71 · 09/03/2008 09:13

Been up at the hospital this morning with dd, she had temp still tummy more sore and was sick, so 5.45 we all load into car, turns out she has a massive urinary infrction which apparently was off the chart, they gave her mega amounts of calpol and ibuprofen and some banana medicine to take, A has been making mum laugh tho by blowing kisses this is his latest trick lol

AprilMeadow · 09/03/2008 12:21

Poor W. I hope that the meds kick in and make her feel better very quickly. How cute of A

Today is a MASSIVE tidy up day in the AM household. Dh has been to the tip twice with all the cardboard and rubbish still in the garage from Xmas . I have been sorting E's room as i have ordered this bookcase and a matching chest of drawers for her bedroom now that dh is in an office and not sharing her room. The lounge now looks livable and our room is fairly tidy. Dh is in the middle of one of his OCD phases so that means we all have to join in and get everything upstraight, but to his standards not mine

Hope everyone is well

Lupins71 · 09/03/2008 15:09

Thanks AM, she is seeming a bit better i have her dosed up, love the bookcase

OMG the kisses are just the cutest think i have ever seem, i am melting

Mrsjaffabiffa · 09/03/2008 15:45

Beautiful bookcase AM, her new bedroom is goingto be a little girls paradise.

Lups glad W seems a little better.

Good post CM, don't know how you do it.

Jorja's new trick is to stand! Pulling herself up on absofreakinlutely everything possible, very cute but she hasn't worked out how to get down again, so get's scared and cries. LOL

How cute is the pup JW, good luck, hope he behaves himself.

AprilMeadow · 09/03/2008 19:42

Thats the only 'pretty' thing she will have as her new bedroon has fitted wardrobes. She will have her cot, CoD and bookcase. Her cot is cream but once she is ready for a big bed then i will get a bed that matches (or get as close to it as poss)

How's W now lups? Hope you have a good night with her

TillyScoutsmum · 09/03/2008 21:01

JIMW - your puppy is the cutest ... I want to give him a big cyber munch . He is gorgeous and I am very

Hello to everyone else... brain is mush tonight - have had a mad weekend and am wrecked..

AbbyLou · 09/03/2008 21:18

Evening all. Just finished doing all my work ready for Ofsted. Pleasethink of me tomorrow and Tuesday, I'll try and pop on on Tuesday night to let you know how it went. I am shitting myself to be honest but I just have to keep thinking that they are only watching what I do every day.
I want an early night but I'm just waiting for the item I'm selling on EBay to finish and then I'm off.
Night, night.

TillyScoutsmum · 09/03/2008 21:26

Good Luck Abby - just imagine them with no clothes on and then you won't be nervous (or you'll p*ss yourself laughing and they'll think you're some kind of nutter )

Pebblemum · 09/03/2008 22:44

Evening all

Lups hope W is soon on the mend, poor thing. Lol at A and the kisses, how sweet

We have had a very lazy relaxed weekend really. Dh went on a boys night with a few of his work mates (including the big boss), managed to get very drunk and was back home by 9pm (they did start drinking at 4pm though) So much for my nice peaceful evening

Went to IL's for a while today. E has a Thomas Tank tent up there and he decided to set it up in their living room. A loved it, she sat inside killing herself laughing, then when E joined her she started jumping on him and screaching at the top of her voice. It was so funny to watch (and hear) She seemed to be having so much fun, just wish I'd had my video camera so I could have filmed it.

Good luck tomorrow Abby

Must go, I need to refill my Tia Maria one more time before bed I think

Hope the storms that are due dont effect anyone too badly. Goodnight

elkiedee · 09/03/2008 23:37

AbbyLou, good luck to you and your colleagues with Ofsted

AprilMeadow · 10/03/2008 07:48

Good luck today Abbylou.

Pebble how cute! I love watching/listening to J&E play.

Hi Tilly hows the planning coming along? I had a spreadsheet for mine (not that you'd be suprised about that as i love ss) All sorts of columns and formulas to work out what we had to pay as well as what mum and dad were each paying for. I even sent it to 2 friends so that they could use it .

Lupins71 · 10/03/2008 08:07

Didnt have too bad a night with W she slept with me only up a few times for being sick, dp on the sofa again hehehe, she is still pretty poorly, she is just bringing up bile whenever she sips anything and temp still high

Pebble awww how sweet, i love watching my two playing A loves it when W plays with him, especially in the bath

Abby and Anneme good luck with ofsted

My house looks like a complete tip, totally neglected due to sick child and trying to get loads of ebaying done hopefully i can find a clean spoon dp had the cheek to ask if i was washing up LAZY ARSE whats wrong with his hands getting soapy

Hopefully dp will start work this week, he met a guy in a pub yesterday (prearranged by landlady next door) and the job sounds ideal, fingers crossed please would be so night not to have every last penny budgeted for or at least to budget with a bit for leisure activities not just electric, food and petrol! must say tho even tho we are skint i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much happier

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 08:28

Morning all, we ahve had inlaws all weekend. I am tired. The blardy baby has been waking up screeching and totally inconsolable after going to sleep fine in the evening. I have no idea why, it is driving me crazy. He takes ages to settle and is still restless in the night. He was being so good.

It makes me nervous when he is like this as i want him to be settled before i am knocked up again! Pregnancy tiredness and a screaming baby

Abby good luck with Ofsted, naked picturing a sound idea It will all be ok my lovely.

Julie that puppy is gorgeous you mad lucky lady. Be strict from the start and they will obey! Puppy training school is very good, we have always taken the dogs to them. I bet A loves her

Too many things to do today and i have no motivation for any of them!

Mrsjaffabiffa · 10/03/2008 08:28

Good Lups is lovely to here you feel happier. Sometimes a clean break makes all the difference.

AbbyLou, thinking of you today!

AprilMeadow · 10/03/2008 09:59

Lups am sooooooo pleased that you are feeling happier now that you have moved. Fingers crossed for D on the job front. Hope that W has a better day poor little love.

Hey LG&T, do you think it may be teeth that are causing B to wake? I say that because E went through a spell of doing that the other week and although we are still waiting for the blinking things to come through i can at least see where they are iykwim.

JIMW how's your house holding up?

JamInMyWellies · 10/03/2008 10:22

just dashing on. House a complete mess dog peeing and pooing all over the shop thank god for the crate otherwise we would be getting no sleep. Archie and Louis appear to have a love hate relationship but I think its going to be ok A just gets fed up when Louis wants to keep playing with him all the time. But they are tolerating each other ok lots of mutual nibbling and licking going on - gross.

TMI alert. Ladies - mc and post preg AF. Mine turned up on Sat first since Aug 2006 but is mega heavy TMI super dooper tampax every couple of hours is this normal for first AF am assuming it is and over a couple of months it will get a bit better??

LG&T could it be teeth bothering B, A did this just before a couple broke through?

Abby good luck today 2nd Tilly advice imagione them naked or wearing bondage gear

AM can you send your DH here to clean my place.

LUPS so glad you are feeling happeir fingers crossed on the job front. Also hope W is doing better today, lots of cranberry juice tis the best natural remedy for urinary infections.

Tilly how did the party go did your DSD's friend behave.

CM how do you manage to write such long posts and remember what we have all been up to.

Ok all have a lovely day am off into the trenches of babies puppies and a what will no doubt become a migraine.

twelveyeargap · 10/03/2008 10:23

A screeches in the night with teeth sometimes. She's been waking for food for the last week or so. She's been sleeping through since 6 months fgs. I think it might be because she didn't eat while she was sick and is stocking up. Either that or it's some sort of growth spurt. I've tried leaving her to settle herself but she goes mad and then takes a full bottle when I give it to her, so it must be hunger. Bugger.

Trying to stuff her with food and milk during the day now.

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 10:27

Julie it will get better hopefully, sometimes your periods become heavier after having children though. Mine are always like that

Do ya know what... Beau has a tooth!!!! I just noticed it

Lups hope little W is ok, dd has had lots of UTI's. They always made her sick and spike a temperature. Keep on top of the antibiotics and if there is no improvement by the end of the day take her back. The antibiotics could be the wrong ones. Poor little thing, they are hideous.

MrsJB is it blowy? Tis not too bad here now, rain showers occasionally but not too windy.

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 10:29

TYG B would still take a bottle if i gave it to him in the night. Can you text me your new mobile no. please. I have texted you and got no reply so i assume (hopefuly ) that is cos you have your new super dooper posho iphone.

Lupins71 · 10/03/2008 10:50

TYG A went through a week of wanting feeding at night - thank god that stopped, altho only to be replaced by teething arghhhhhhhhhhh luckily i only have one at a time up at night

LGT agree with ev1 else the ol' teeth problem, its not nice when they wont settle, epecially when you still have to get up and deal with everything else

Dd is hugely improved, back to being lippy, cheeky and headstrong, temp is down, so will keep up with anti'bs and hopefully she will carry on improving

Dp has just has i can think again if he thinks i am helping with the washing up - he will be finding himself very single soon

It be flippin windy down errr in west cont'ry, hopfully some trees will come down and i can send useless arse out to be useful

AprilMeadow · 10/03/2008 11:06

woohoo for B on his first tooth I think Ella is going to stay gummy forever

JIMW, better get yourself a good airfreshener Dh is armed with marigolds and cif power clean along with his dettol disinfectant spray

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 11:15

AM have been cake thinking for you. I am not great at Royal Icing but would be happy to bake the cakes for you. You could take them to any cake shop near you and get them iced. It sometimes costs alot less doing it this way. I have done it for friends in the past. My mil did it for my sis in laws wedding cake.

Cakes to bake would be about £25. Look in to it and come back to me chick.

B is currently yelling his head off in bed, he is so tired. Why the heck do they not just go to sleep...
