D was awake for nearly 3 hours again starting at 12.20 so I'm tired. Hoping the rain eases off for my walk to baby group as it's a 15/20 minute walk and the bus routes don't run that way.

Hope the foal is ok Caz - and Happy anniversary! Have you got a romantic meal planned for tonight? You two could easily see your 70th (platinum) wedding anniversary! Infact if you make it to 80 years you get a card from the queen (probably be king by then like).

Really struggling with knee and feeling down at the moment.... dp said he would take some time off give me a break... funnily enough it hasnt been mentioned... infact he is off out with the lads tomorrow night so I will have C all day and all night.. happy days!

hi sorry I haven't been posting since Tuesday. Really busy day yesterday - and I had some disappointing news yesterday about my return to work. Basically - the opportunities which were outlined to me before I went on M/L no longer exist - I can go back to my old job (before going on m/l I had been doing a higher grade job on a temporary basis - the duration of which was never defined) - four days a week I guess. Or I could apply for a higher band job - but only a 1/2 time position. Now in one sense - the last option would be really good - but it's all thrown me a bit. Tbh I feel really upset about the whole thing - can't quite put my finger on why though which is v frustrating. I won't know for some time either if I will get the 1/2 time post and if there's one thing that gets me down it's uncertainty.
Right - lunch now and then B and I are having a nap! Will catch up later and see what you've all been up to. Sorry for being so crap

Soory about your news NL. Hoping and praying that you find out sooner rather than later the score with the job, so you can become more settled. Thinking of you!

Just been pissing it down raining very heavily here and now sun has come out again! Very strange weather we're having lately

D and I had bad night also. He was crying in pain despite calpol. Gave him long feed after got off here last night and he slept til half 2 but then seemed in pain again and was burning hot, dont know how hot but was def a temp. Gave him calpol and he stayed in bed with me from then, feeding and crying on and off all night. On the plus side he slept on way back from school till 9.40 which he never does and is asleep again now! Has also seemed quite happy today so I've been able to get on and rediscover the floor in Nathan's room ready for his beloved K who is coming to play this afternoon!! She had to go to the drs yesterday morning and apparently he was distraught when she wasnt there and then when she did turn up he ran over and wouldnt stop hugging her!! Its so cute!

Right best get on and do the hallway now, everyone else in this household seems to think the shoe cupboard is for dumping things on top of when they come in the door and kicking their shoes in front of

Sorry to hear about the stress with your return to work NL.

Its either snowing here or chucking it down with massive hailstones which look like snow anyway (but hurt more!)

S has just had his 9 month check and is weighing in at 19Lbs 3.5oz which I was quite suprised about. He is quite a big boy and I really didnt think that he would still be on the 25th centile. Still he is a happy soul so Im not complaining.

GMM, give dp a kick up the bum about some time off next week so that you can rest up. Otherwise I will send my 4 round to tickle him

Such a shame about work NL Really hope you get things sorted. Maternity leave is fab, but it does seem to have caused a few problems for several people on their return to work doesn't it. So annoying when you had already discussed your options pre leave too.
