PillockOfTheCommunity · 02/02/2008 20:14

We had a fab time

MJ, Oooggs, Runnyhabit were all lovely, Octo was too obviously but I already that! She brought her sister who was just as mad as her!

We had a great meal afterwards too

AngeG · 02/02/2008 20:18

Glad you had a great time. I'm really . I soooooooooooo wanted to come, looked it up on AA route planner and everything

Thanks GMM. Oh no to stair climbing, Izzy managed it last week at my Mums, at least at home we have a door at the bottom of the stairs so no need for a stairgate.

NorthernLurker · 02/02/2008 20:19

I was wondering about sleeping bags as well - and I'm a sucker for plainish babygrows - just been looking at the website though and they do 6-12 months and 12-18 months at Green baby - so tell me wise shop person - do the sizes come up big or small?

I hope they're paying you commission!

AngeG · 02/02/2008 20:20

oohh yes sleeping bags! Are they grobag ones?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 02/02/2008 20:27

any colour Dippy, Joe won't care!

Ange, everyone said that you were the one person they really wanted to meet

Sexonlegs · 02/02/2008 20:30

Evening all.

Caz, so sad about the foal

SW/Wales girlies, glad you had a lovely time. I would love to try and come to the next one. My bil lives in Bristol, so we could tie it in with a trip to see him.

Ange, your hair looks fab!

Dippy, hope you lose the headache and have a good evening.

GMM, you sound much happier .

All ok here. Had a lovely time visitng dh's nana - she is 94! Met one of her fellow residents who is 100. She was a bit like the old lady that Catherine Tate does!!
There was a lot of cooing over K [proud mummy emoticon]. Also called in to see dh's auntie and uncle and when we got home bil called in as he had been on a blind date in Winchester!! Just waiting for a curry to round off the day.

Next one is a London meet-up

Any Takers????

I have photos from today, will get them uploaded asap but not tonight!

And they all gave me hugs when they left

elkiedee · 02/02/2008 20:47

I suppose I should really try to get to a London meet up, though it depends a bit on when and where it is - weekday/weekend etc.

I wish the place I went to on Wednesday was a bit easier to get to for those travelling a distance - it's not very central or near a tube station. It's a pub but with food (up to about 2 pm), 10 times the space of the best local cafes and very baby friendly, I think anyone who came in without a sprog the other day would have felt very out of place. A bit of a queue for baby changing facilities!

I haven't been to any of them yet but maybe a soft play place would be good as our babies are getting more mobile and it would be somewhere for other dcs too?

Sexonlegs · 02/02/2008 20:48

Pillock love, could we have a new thread please!??
