I'll see how he is overnight, really could do with a good night
Going to bed, feeling sorry for myself. Good night everyone x

Hello All,
Glitterkitty has inspired me to make one of my guest appearances and to give my own update:
G not going through the night - sigh. Fifth tooth just cracked through the gum; looks like sixth might join it any moment. Commando crawls but is always pulling up and cruising. Says Mum, Dada, Nana, ta and Oh Dear (he doesn't understand this one, of course - just copies it from DS1). Still bf. G was weighed Thurs and is 19 3. Just beginning to lose my baby weight. DS1 always trying to hurt G - sigh. That's about it, I think.

Am very much looking forward to news of one of the April ladies having a new baby; no chance for me: G is my second anyway, and I'm ancient.

Aaagh! Just noticed still have my Christmas name (that's how long it has been since have posted), and I can't remember how to change it. Oh well, it can stay for now.

Love to all,
xxx

Good to see you Glitterkitty, shame I think we're on opposite sides of London. There've been a couple of south east meet ups in Brighton and Basingstoke, and I've been to a May 2007 (when D actually turned up) meet up in Bethnal Green and two Haringey meet ups - I know of a great venue in Crouch End but it probably wouldn't suit anyone outside north London. Not sure where we could get together in central London, and I know lots of people do but I've never taken D on the tube on my own.

Maveta · 02/02/2008 07:25

morning my lovelies. Guess it will be quiet on here with the meet up happening? Dh is at work til 2pm and I´m hoping to crawl back into bed with N in a little while. Sis and BIL and arriving at lunch so we´re going to meet them in town for a bite to eat and then back to mum and dad´s for a bbq (looks at the sky dubiously). They´re only here til tomorrow pm so it´ll be a family-intense day.

back soon

oooggs · 02/02/2008 08:04

MORNING!!!!!!

glad you popped over glitterkitty

Erin - 5 teeth, crusing, crawling very fast, sleeping through (just) little madam

Jack - 8 teeth, crusing, crawling very fast, was awake most of last night (as if I need that!!) has slept through but forgets how to - party animal

as for no.2 I miscarried no.4 in the new year, wasn't a planned pregnancy but once some medical stuff sorted I came round to the idea (DH exstatic!!) but it wan't to be

anyway - car packed, all fed, just to dress & off!!!!!!!

hi bugmum

justpinions · 02/02/2008 08:08

WE-ARE-SNOWED-IN.

It is covered, everywhere.

It's thick too. And freezin brrrrrrrrr .

liath · 02/02/2008 08:15

Hi Bugmum and Glitterkitty!

Update - Ds is crawling & cruising, has 2 teeth and doesn't say anything meaningful. Still BF. Has slept through maybe 2 or 3 times but normally up at least once. Dd has been mauling him since he started crawling, think it's mainly attention-seeking but difficult to deal with.

Luce - wow, what a cake - which bit did you cut a slice off first?

GMM, glad you and dp are talking, hope things get sorted out.

Have a good meet up Southern ladies.

Hope those with tummy bugs/chicken poz/miscellaneous viruses get better soon.

It is bloody BALTIC here, have got my thermals out. Both kids are virally so there is a lot of clinging and whinging going on, the joy.

liath · 02/02/2008 08:18

wtf is chicken poz??

ooh pinions! Snowman time? Used to get snowed in a lot at my parent's house, was great fun.

Sexonlegs · 02/02/2008 08:23

Morning all.

Hi Bugmum, lovely to see you. I was thinking about you the other day when I was in the library!

Hi Liath, long time no see. Sorry the dc's are under the weather.

Off to see dh's nana today who is 94!

Have a lovely day all.

oooggs · 02/02/2008 08:29

right kids in the car - I'm off..........bye
this better not been cancelled while I was entertaining Jack sleeping

Eddas · 02/02/2008 08:42

Hi everyone, not been on the thread for a few days. Not much chance to catch up

Hope the meetup goes well and you all enjoy yourselves

All ok here. Have started our huge clearout and now have 4 massive bags to take to the charity shop, 2 to go to a friend and loads to put on ebay AND that's not all the clothes yet But I guess it is 2 dc's wardrobes oh and alos a bag for the preschool as the manager was saying that they change kids into clothes because they wet themselves or whatever and they dont get them back I can't believe people keep them I always send them back in! Since dd is now in 4-5 and is one of the tallest her 3-4's will fit alot of the girls. I guess she'll have to be squeezed into them On wed dd had an accident and ended up wearing boys pants She was NOT impressed

Off to begin my day bags to charity shop, home, DD & DS to ballet, hopefully round MIL's afterwards as dh and his mate are starting the front room, yipppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. bye bye disgusting wallpaper/colours and especially the fireplace bleughhhhh

Eddas · 02/02/2008 08:45

just read that back and to make it clear ds will not be doing ballet he's not that advanced dd is performing and me and ds have to sit for an hour, such a problem next week i'm hoping to go without ds so I can read in peace or something

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2008 08:52

Have fun SW peoeple!

Good to "see" GlitterKitty and BugMum last night

More spots on DD2 this am - she's more lethargic than usual, not so much of a nutter Going to get Piriton and Aqueous and Camamile in a mo as she's starting to scratch. Hope it is over soon ....

P still sleeping!! Leaving her to it......

GMM - no you are right about the washing - usually 4 loads a day, and of course extra when I do the bedding........

hope things are ok with you today

what a day yesterday!

sadly when sue got up yesterday the foal had managed to break her poorly leg in th night, and she had to be destroyed

we had a lovely meal out for lunch, and Molly ended up eating loads of charlie's cottage pie

then ds1 and dd1 had a valentine's disco at school in the evening......I was driving home and a stupid van nearly ran me off the road. I had to pull over onto the bank and the bank gave way and we ended up half in and half out of a rather large ditch.....put it in 4 wheel drive but I am a bit feeble and it strted to tip a bit so tried to ring dh and my brother but phone battery went flat (stupid me!) so we ended up walking 2 miles home in the sleet at about half nine! was sooo glad I didn't hyave the littlies with me! dh and my brother borrowed the farm landrover and went and pulled it out, so no harm done but just feel a bit stupid!

waiting for a rather large asda delivery atm .........

cazboldy · 02/02/2008 11:07

oh yeah, and hope all you lot have fun with the horses

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2008 11:21

Poor foal Caz Deary me, sounds like you had a bit of a night of it, glad you got back safe and sound!

DH just taking older 2 to Sainsbury while P has a sleep, so I'm going to have a shower and tidy up a bit.

elkiedee · 02/02/2008 12:13

Sorry about your foal Caz.

4 loads of washing? Where do you dry it all? We do now have a washer dryer but I still hang most of it up.

Hope everyone planning to go to the meet up managed to make it.

D up from 12 to 1.30 and then slept until 7.50 so almost a good night. I would have liked to go to the Haringey Families sale but really would have needed to plan to do that today and drag myself out of bed a little bit earlier to get it together. So, a lazy weekend at home, then my mum's next weekend.

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2008 12:50

Hi Elkie

Just making some dinner and then off out to Party with DD1. DD2 tiny bit spotty and very tired, hoping DH can persuade her to have a sleep this pm. P still napping.

cazboldy · 02/02/2008 17:07

I have tumble dryer elkie, and don't know what I would do without it. I also have a few of those radiator airer things and a line hanging up in the garage which we use like an extra storage room on the side of the house anyway, and of course an outside line not that thats much use at the minute.

cazboldy · 02/02/2008 17:08

Yes thanks Dippy

hope you have a good afternoon x

CaptainDippy · 02/02/2008 17:10

Hello! Just fed P, DH making tea for other 2 who are grumpy little monsters - Roll on bedtime .......
