Agree oooggs, dh and I got to breaking point after ds was born. Got through it though, but not a nice place to be.

Sexonlegs · 31/01/2008 20:57

Oh GMM, you sound so low. I was the same with dh after B was born. We had to work bloody hard to get back on track. Sorry, you probably don't want to hear that.

Thinking of you.

Lucewits · 31/01/2008 20:58

Is there anything that I can do GMM? Feel helpless over here

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 20:58

I cant take C out of bed and into the cold.

He came back, had a cig then went into the spare bed, I went up to try and sort things, wasnt interested, I asked him if he wanted me to leave him alone, he said yes, so I did.

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 20:59

Thank you all for being so kind - you are making me cry (even more)

oooggs · 31/01/2008 20:59

I snapped when he was 14 mths it had built up so much and was brave enough to admit it and ended up on ads for 3 mths and then everything was great - not saying that it will go/or you will let it get that far.

I was a mumsnetter but didn't have the courage to talk about it as wasn't on a regular thread with regular people - we are here for you - come and stay with me - dh is away and you can come to the meetup

then again weeonion is probably closer!!!!

oooggs · 31/01/2008 21:00

when ds1 was 14 mths - and I can't believe I have just told you all that

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 21:01

I dont know what to do at the moment, whether just to leave it, or to make plans... my mum is off to London tomorrow so not much help there, althoug I have looked at train times to London..

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 21:02

To be honest I'm starting to theink about AD's. I feel so black inside. So sad, even though I have nothing to be sad about.

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 21:03

Its nothing to be about oooggs

Lucewits · 31/01/2008 21:03

I honestly think that you need some time out GMM, maybe your mums or london would be a good idea. Some space to clear your head and some help with C so that your body can heal.

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 21:05

I dont want to get her involved if that makes sense? Once I go there its point of no return? Plus the thoughtof me and C on a train for 6 hours is horrific!!

oooggs · 31/01/2008 21:05

oh gmm - talking is great and we are all here (but it is nearly my bedtime and my bed has been on 25min ) anyone in rl you can talk to? my dr was great and I don't think dh realsied the severity of it until then, he soon bucked his ideas up - lucky we didn't have twins first - may not have survived

Lucewits · 31/01/2008 21:07

I can understand that but I do think that you and C could do with being out of the house for a few days (especially this weekend)
I have got the busiest weekend here or you know that I would have gladly had you and C over

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2008 21:14

Oh, GMM - sounds like you could really do with getting away for a fewdayswith C. You both needsome timandspae. Sosorry you are going through this sweetie - As has been said, a baby can put enormous strains on a relationship. {{{{{hugs}}}}}

if you need to get far, far, far, far away the South East is very nice so I've heard Spare room waiting for you and C anytime. xx

Babysitting for friends atm - they havea colour-changing mouse shock] I am most excited!

geordiemacminx · 31/01/2008 21:14

Its ok, we can find places to go, it'll be fine. Just gona sit tight tonight and see if things sort themselves out.

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2008 21:15

In case you hadn't noticed - the spacebar doesn't work too well on this ketboard!!

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2008 21:16

If you don't want to go on a train - there's always air travel - costs about the same if you shop around. xx

oooggs · 31/01/2008 21:17

right then my lovelies I'm off to bed before round two (ds2 and his midnight party )!!!!!!

Lucewits · 31/01/2008 21:19

GMM do you want me to give you a call in the morning?

Had to take S to the drs this afternoon because of a yucky cough. Dr said not an infection but wheezing so came home with inhalers etc poor little man

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2008 21:19

Night oooggs - hope there isn't any midnight parties and just nice sleeping children ALL NIGHT! xx

Lucewits · 31/01/2008 21:19
