Hello Trinityrhino - lucky you winning an ipod!
DH got me one for christmas last year, I use it in the car mostly.

I hate fb too but can't seem to log off. Apparently you can't actually delete your account, only sign off it, so they keep your details.

eandh · 23/01/2008 19:51

Hattie has never had a single review ever - I do remember she was 'lost' in the system when we were discharged from midwife so maybe she is still lost. IIRC they were a waste of time with Ellie and I know she is fine.

Rgee- oooo I'd forgotton about Lizz with the insider info now where is she??? I cant decide whether to let Ellie have the room she wants or go for the one we like, if we go for her one I wont order the curtain thing for the bed just get some funky material and Louise next door Mum will make them for me shes a seamstress)

I have manky feet and in the spring/summer always treat myself to an hour long foot treatment thing in local salon

Hattie is 1 year and almost 3 weeks old

walking forwards and backwards and often has a little sprint if she hears the biscuit barrel lid being moved hates her pushchair now,7 teeth 3 more on the way - generally an ok sleeper just sorting the early wakings at the moment, chunters for england - mama, dada , uh ee (ellie) and bye bye but favourite word is NO! Oh and she eats and eats and eats and eats

MrsCarrot · 23/01/2008 20:00

F is a nightmare climber, all over the furniture and out of his cot and terrifyingly, up ds1's cabin bed where he thinks its marvellous to throw himself off the top.

MrsCarrot · 23/01/2008 20:01

Oh look, Oh dear, hot and dat are favourite words here. He thinks hot means no so he says it all the time bless him.

laughalot · 23/01/2008 20:25

Lauren is 1 she has 4 teeth, cruising but not walking says mumma, daddy, aid which means aidan, ta and she hates being told no. Sleeps well and eats well just like me .

Lizzzombie · 23/01/2008 20:27

I am here!
What information did you want?
Or...did you want my discount?!

Am buying a double buggy for a mate of mine soon.
She is putting the money in my account and I am ordering it for her to be sent to her house.
Or...the other way of doing it is to meet up and pay cash for it with me using my card. IYSWIM.

20% off though - and sale stuff too!

eah - let me know. Also, LOL at hattie and the biscuit barrel!
Trinity - My Lo is the same as yours.
He also can 'intone' (not actually say exactly but sort of mimic) "Oh dear, All gone" and makes lots of "bbbrrrrooom brrroooom" noises (which I think he must have learnt at nursery) when he is playing with his cars etc. Its very cute!

Lizzzombie · 23/01/2008 20:28

Oh, I and I forgot about when I say "No", I waggle my finger. So now, when I say it, he raises his finger up at me! This doesnt bode well for the future!

Shimmer · 23/01/2008 20:29

Thanks for the advice on nurseries 2Happy, LTH, Wilkie. We had a slightly more positive session today, so i'm hoping things are getting better. DP dropped F and he was much less clingy than he is with me. We're doing another very short session tomorrow, just to keep reminding him of the place and spending time with his keyworker

F has got a horrible cough at the moment. Are there ANY cold/cough medicines that actually work??????? We've tried Medised & Capol and CalCough and none of them are helping him sleep or stopping the coughing at night. I'm getting very grumpy and short of sleep myself after having to get up loads the last few nights because of the coughing.

I started a new job this week and it's really cool so far. Loving it

F doesn't talk really... though does alot of chattering nonsence. He has been saying 'gook' occasionally though (between all the other rubbish) which i only just today realised today was always accompanied by pointing, so I think he's trying to say 'look'!! So proud

Lizzzombie · 23/01/2008 20:31

Shimmer - it took ages for DJ to get settled at nursery. Probably about 6 or 8 sessions. But he loves it now.

BTW - just had my 2nd creme egg of the year - I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

eandh · 23/01/2008 20:33

Lizz - that is so kind of you (I had forgotton it was mothercare I always think you work in elc for some reason??) we are not getting it yet as need to do her room, but if the offers still on when we want it I'd be most grateful (I can send chocolates or alcohol as a thankyou! )

I meant to say that as my job is now PA to the ASM of south region at work i get heads up on all jobs going, there are going to be some part time jobs advertised fairly soon some of these will be 1 or 2 days in the week with 1 or 2 saturday mornings a month) and IIRC that is wha you were looking for?
I think our nearest branch to you is Brighton is that to far? (branches in brighton, canterbury, crawley, dover, hove, horsham, maidstone, sevenoaks, tunbridge wells and worthing)

Reggiee · 23/01/2008 20:53

Am bored. So am eating Hula Hoops. I can't even really be bothered to lift them up to my mouth

MrsCarrot · 23/01/2008 21:03

lol RGEE that made me laugh

Reggiee · 23/01/2008 21:07

Needless to say I managed to finish the pack MrsC.

Am now looking back at all the Pip photos which we have on our PC. It's making me feel rather teary. She was so ...sigh... little

Wilkie · 23/01/2008 21:07

PMSL at Gook. My BF's LO (same age) points at EVERYTHING and sayd 'Dook'. He either has a duck fetish or is trying to say look.

Lowdown on J - he walks everywhere, can run, roars like a lion on demand, moo's like a cow on demand, says mama, dada, baba (byebye), poo (so proud), papapa (Poppy - the cat), head bangs, flings himself of anything of any height, can climb the stairs (all 14 steps) in 32 seconds (sad but I counted) and is generally a little cutie. He has terrible screaming tantrums if I tell him 'No' or take something off him. His newest trick is phoning people on my mobile and heavy breathing at them (sorry LAL )!! I am a sad, proud, mumma.

EAH - I agree with your choice but think you should let E have her choice.

Just had THE most fantastic s*x with DH. When it's like that I wonder why we don't do it more....

Where's UD gone again?

Wilkie · 23/01/2008 21:08

PMSL too at Reggie - I need a poo but can't be bothered to squeeze....

laughalot · 23/01/2008 21:08

Oooooooh did I hear discount lizz

Wilkie · 23/01/2008 21:09

BTW - am totally shocked and saddened by the death of Heath Ledger, he was so yummy and had a little girl.

laughalot · 23/01/2008 21:10

Tmi wilkie glad j dident ring me at that time as it would have been his mama with heavy breathing

MrsCarrot · 23/01/2008 21:11

me too - I loved him, especially in '10 things'. It's so sad.

Reggiee · 23/01/2008 21:14

Hiya post coital glow laydee. I'm pleased you shared that with the group

Lal how's your dad?

MrsCarrot · 23/01/2008 21:14

F pretends everything is a phone, the remote controls, a pen, a sock, holds it to his ear and says eh-oh.

And his favourite thing is to go up the stairs come down the stairs up the stairs come down the stairs and so on. Sometimes he slides down on his tummy.

bunnyhunny · 23/01/2008 21:14

low down on s: he walks, and runs. has 6 teeth. says moo quack woof dada and mama and no as well as making noises for car and cold, and signs bath, milk, bye. loves his monkey and the phone.

read my thread about my brother - what would you do here

Wilkie · 23/01/2008 21:15

C'mon girls, you know I have no boundaries....
