Oh poor Fury.....hope you're all better soon.

DD is having a misery-guts day today...hard work!

Pumpkin - I whisk an egg and bit of milk together, pour onto dinner plate, coat a slice of cheap white bread both sides and dry fry for a minute each side....I just tear bits off and dip in tomato sauce...yummy

We're having a lazy day today....I'm sitting in front of baby TV and a laptop whilst DH is cabling the house for a PC network, putting a server in the garage and building a new PC desk!

We've got that as well but too slow apparently. This is for our main new PC - cables are under the floor and boxes on the wall! Can you tell he does this for a living

Poor C has just been rolling over (nappyless) and trying so hard to crawl, but not quite making it. She was getting very frustrated

Pumpkinhead · 20/01/2008 17:39

Mmmm, thanks for the eggy bread tips. Thats dinner sorted then .

Lunch with friends went well. And for once it wasn't my LO that was grizzly and miserable. In fact even better - he slept!

Jammy - sounds like C is really getting the hang of rolling over now. Mine is really trying hard to crawl too. His little legs are doing all the right moves, but he's not actually moving! I'm sure it's only going to be a matter of days.

milkyJammy · 20/01/2008 17:57

Hi Pumpkin Hope your DS gets the hang of it soon - and then doesn't make life too troublesome for you once he is mobile.

Pumpkinhead · 20/01/2008 18:05

Hi Jammy. I KNOW he's going to be trouble! Our house is totally un-baby friendly at the momemnt. It's something that I'm going to have to organise very soon I think. Maybe first step is to buy a stair gate.

milkyJammy · 20/01/2008 18:13

Same here

FattyFairyFay · 20/01/2008 19:29

Hello everyone. I'm back from my DC-free weekend. I had a really lovely time although I did miss them and Dh a bit. I am knackered having been up drinking wine and playing silly games until 3am so an early night for me. I feel as if I got a bit of my old self back which was nice.

milkyJammy · 20/01/2008 19:58

Glad you had a good time Fairy, it sounds great, though not sure if I could make it to 3am. You're made of stronger stuff than me!

HellHathNoFury · 20/01/2008 20:38

tee hee
pictures of my sexy conjunctivitis eye on FB

I thought I's spare you the norovirus stuff though... which is on the mend... I have kept down a bit of toast.

I am so bored though, done bugger all except watch TV all weekend.

Anyway

Off to bed. Hope you are all well.

Nice, Fury!

Night all.

LittleMissNorty · 21/01/2008 09:19

Quiet on here.......

Glad you had a good time Fairy....bet everyone was pleased to see you home?

Fury...hope you feel better soon...take it you're not at work today?

JBM - your pics are great and have inspired me to take K on the swings as soon as the weather allows

LittleMissNorty · 21/01/2008 09:19

Will be interested to know Jammy if the beetroot comes out of DDs clothes....

milkyJammy · 21/01/2008 09:24

Hi Norty, will let you know about the beetroot. It certainly came out IN her nappy yesterday and this morning!

C likes the swings, we've been twice and when the weather perks up will go again.

LittleMissNorty · 21/01/2008 09:58

....conjures up lovely images.....

Yes, must do the swings.....waiting in for a delivery today, but if the weather holds off......

Good Morning everyone. Fury and MHC, I hope you both feel better soon - it sounds miserable

Andiem, Are we still on for Wednesday, after 12? Would you like to do lunch or coffee? Either way, we'll need somewhere child friendly as I will have bith DCs

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2008 10:25

Poor you MHC, I know how you feel.
It's rotton isn't it.
I went to the GP this morning, had to run to the loo while I was there as nature called really rather rapidly, and the GP thinks I will be off until thursday. He thinks it might be more than the norovirus thing and might be campylobacter or something but I am not sure myself, I have had campylobacter before and that was far worse, I thik I will be ok by tomorrow.
by the end of it I was exhausted and collapsed on the chair.

The nursery won't take DS as he has it too and so DH has had to stay home to care for us both.

My eye is apparently acute bacterial conjunctivitis. I feel well sexy.

I could wear an eye patch and be a pirate... but I prefer scaring people with my evil red eye and rapid toilet exits.
Pirate name...hmmm...

According to This my Pirate name is captain Anne Kidd

LittleMissNorty · 21/01/2008 10:38

oh your poor things.

I had norovirus before Xmas and was competely wiped out by it for a week - then K then DH. I kept away from the GPs but had to take K to emergency docs unfortunately.....probably gave it to a few others while we were there...

Campylobacter is much worse IMO....and due to cooking!!

I found a couple of doses of immodium sorted us out (not DD I hasten to add - just had to see that one through)

Take it easy...lots of rest and relaxation

Oh dear...whinging baby to see to

Oh you poor things all you sick ones.
Tonnes to catch up on....

MHC, glad the discs got there ok, enjoy (manah manah). Don't stress, and I wouldn't want to catch something postally.

Bumper may you have a better week.

Fairy glad you had a good time, I am

How are everybody's lo's doing teeth-wise? Baby Sputnik has got 2 definitely coming through now, and I was a bit surprised as DD didn't get any til she was 1.
