DH bought some beetroot for C. So for her tea tonight she just had a mix of potato,beetroot and chicken all blended together. She loved it, though it was rather messy And I think we might have some interesting nappies tomorrow

K has just had a slice of eggy bread dipped in tomato sauce for her dinner and she loved it.

She lifted herself up onto her hands and knees for the first time this afternoon ....not crawling like some of yours, but a good start

MHC I made Nigella's Christmas cranberry and orange muffins which I didn't get around to making at Christmas. They are ok, a bit blah. Prefer my recipe for raspberry muffins, yummy. Or raspberry and white chocolate - double yummy!

I called it french toast when I was little....but everywhere I see it today calls it eggy bread.

I have been ill (and still am)
DS is ill
I got conjunctivitis
then friday night I got that winter vomiting bug thing...it's horrible
despite being very clean I gave it to DS

I feel like shit

Going back to bed (and the toilet) now

Although I HAVE lost 1/2 stone so it's not all bad

Sorry to hear you're not well Fury. But what a bonus losing 1/2 stone! What are peoples plans for today. We have some friends coming round for lunch so I have been manically cleaning the house. [yawn] This might sound like a stupid questions but is eggy bread just a slice of bread fried with a whisked egg over it? I've never made it, but it sounds like it might be nice for the LO(and me!). Have a good day and will try and pop on later.
