Thanks MHC - I won't be reading it again after that. Poor her.

How exciting C is rolling! Once they start moving they don't stop - better start choosing your stairgates now!

Righto, tea time.

Then I have to make sarnies for 30, stuff party bags, cook sausages, make pizzas, feed the kids , bath them, referee their arguements, get them to clean their teeth, put together 30 food boxes, make party cakes and cereal bars, get the drinks ready, feed DP (and me), decorate party cakes, make adult cake and have another sleepless night of constant dreamfeeding, which will no doubt be broken by some bed-hopping for small child/DP.

Perhaps I'll write a book on the joys of motherhood!

Thanks for the warning Foxy. She's just rolled from back to front for the 4th time this afternoon! (Keeps getting worn out and crying until I roll her from front to back in between ) And she has made like she's trying to commando crawl, but hasn't managed it - yet

foxythesnowman · 18/01/2008 16:53

Uh-oh! They move at alarming speed when you least expect it.

My children are being horrid and I am putting everything off. Ignoring them and all around me for MN.

Tell me to bugger off and be productive pleeeeeaaase

milkyJammy · 18/01/2008 16:54

Foxy, please bugger off and be productive

Thanks for that reminder Norty, I've got that joy to look forward to - in about 10 days time

LittleMissNorty · 18/01/2008 19:58

Hi MHC - a quiet weekend thankfully - don't think weather is going to be very nice!

Luckily we've only had the D&V the once - and it was awful!

Foxy - have a good party - rather you then me ...bet it'll be great!

Meant to say Jammy - well done for C on the rolling....no stopping her now

LittleMissNorty · 18/01/2008 20:00

Blimey - that's come round quickly Jammy - she'll love it - K does....she's settled in really well and the two women who look after her are lovely

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 18/01/2008 20:04

Hope you're OK with the rain Bumper and don't get flodding. It's not been so bad here, at least not as bad as I expected. It might have p'd down all night of course without me knowing. But the forecast's not good for tomorrow, which is a shame as my brother's coming over for lunch and we were hoping to go out for a walk.

milkyJammy · 18/01/2008 21:23

Gone very quiet here again tonight...

foxythesnowman · 18/01/2008 21:42

I'm just popping back to say 'night. Been baking. Knackered now!

Wish I was a slack parent who didn't give a toss, or one who could afford entertainers and caterers!

Blimey! What sort of party was that?

We WERE going to go this weekend, but it was too much.

Have you found a cheap way of doing it? We initially were going to drive and stay in Davey Crockett Ranch, but the drive wasn't worth the 3 nights we decided. It was very reasonable but too much for us.

But I am going now, so maybe we can 'talk' tomorrow? Night all xx

Sorry, I sloped away last night.

Hope all goes well with the party Foxy, and I'm glad you're not a slacker Mum. It sounds like hard work, but your DC will love you for it and I bet when they are grown up they'll have a pack of great memories.

MHC - I guess I see my brother every couple of months on average. Often goes in fits and starts though, might see him a few times in quick sucession, then not see him at all for a few months. But we have good chats on the phone in between visits.

milkyJammy · 19/01/2008 07:45

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUMPER (if face book is to be believed)

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 19/01/2008 08:52

Ooops sorry! FB is not to be believed! (Have I taught you girls nothing? )

But thanks for the thought! Believe me you'll know when it's my birthday!
