Here we go! (or should I say here wii go!?). I'll try doing a link too...

Incidentally, I had a dream last night that Cerys suddenly learnt how to blow proper raspberries! Don't know where it came from but it could be that she has been trying since she was about 4 weeks old and did it entirely by accident yesterday!

MMooMar · 03/03/2008 17:12

Thanks MrsFish,

Defo nice to have some good news for a change.
DP`s Dad has been diagnosed with Parkinsons now,His mom has been bad for a while too with her liver and is constantley going into hospital for blood transfusions and fluid drainage,so the bad news has been rife just lately.

Awwwww, what a cutie

kyala · 03/03/2008 22:00

MMoomar: Great news about your mum
I had one period a few weeks after initial bleeding stopped, but nothing since, and didn't have anything until DD1 stopped bf-ing, the 1st time round. Not that that's any use!
I agree with Mrsfish, what a cutie!

Lolly had her skin prick tests today, just as suspected got to steer clear of milk etc, got to go back in September as some babies outgrow their allergies, finger's crossed!

Hi MMooMar, great news about your mum, and love the photos.

On the periods front, I'm not bf'ing, so not really the same situation. However, thought I'd say that my first two periods were exceptionally heavy, to the extent that I nearly went to the doctor (mine have always been light, though, so maybe I overreacted!!). They stayed heavy for several days, then stopped as soon as they started. The last one was much lighter, so my theory is that my body was having a bit of a clear-out, and is now getting back to normal.

Hello everyone sorry i haven't been about me and the boys have all been unwell over the last week all with different things! Alex is just getting over conjunctivitus and as of mother's day is now just bottle fed but he's gained 2 lb is just over 2 weeks so it's obviously what's best for him.

I'm gutted i can't make the meetup on friday as it's my birthday and i've got plans all day - obviously not gutted it's my birthday just that i won't get to meet you all

I'll try and catch up properly later xx

dal21 · 04/03/2008 16:10

Hi everyone - no chance to catch up yet with all posts. Hopefully will get a chance on Thurs. Meeting work tomorrow....yikes!

Any more news on London meet up? Is it still on? If so, what time we thinking?

Hugs to all

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 04/03/2008 21:23

Sorry, just having mad quick log on, G upstairs with Niamh and I'm just meant to be making a cup of tea. Dal, yes, we're still on for Friday. I was thinking about 12 - 12:30 would be good, if that's ok with everyone else. x x

Chattyhan: Sorry to hear you've been poorly

Am feeling rather stressed out, DH had a day off and we've done next to nothing today so a bit miffed about that, and I know I've got a lot of rushing around tomorrow due to a poxy dental check-up (and I know I'm not going to like what they've got to say, I can't stand the surgery that I'm with but you don't get much choice nowadays with the crisis!). Also, yet more money probs (sorry ) DH has found that he has gone over his overdraft (due to AOL taking about £25 more than they should've) and the bank have charged him £100!! (Surely the fact that he's over his OD shows that he can't afford to be giving away £100?!) So, he Emailed AOL stating that they've overcharged him and they will need to sort something out as his bank have charged him £100 because of their mistake, their reply was that he should make sure there are enough funds in his bank when they are due to take the money out. . .Ummm there was enough but they overcharged him!! And then there's the fact that we now have to survive until Friday (DH's pay day) with no money but about £30 in my bank from Lucy's Child benefit (which is not meant to be being touched so that I can, eventually, get rid of the blardy £500 OD that's been sat there for 2 1/2 years now) So, things here are just freaking peachy!! Oh and did I mention that we have to fork out £200 for oil at some point?

DH had an interview today, it's looking favourable but there's one little draw-back, it's minimum wage to start, so we'll be scraping the barrel a bit more than usual ( if that's possible!?!), hopefully we'll get a bit of help through WTC etc, and all this just as I finally get DD1 sorted with a pre-school, typical!

Yet again you're getting nothing but whinging from me, sorry

dal21 · 05/03/2008 06:13

grrr.....just spent 20 mins writing monster post replying to all your posts and it crashed. most unimpressed.

hopey - that time works for me. how many are coming? i will get there early and try to nab a table.

PLP - i reckon the stickers is a great idea. i know i wont get everyones name in my mind....although doubt anyone will wear them. maybe we can stick them on our cups of tea.

have great days all. will attempt another monster posting later.

Sorry you can#t make it Chatty, but happy birthday for Friday!

Kyala, have a look at www.moneysavingexpert.com

I'm sure Martin Lewis mentioned something about unlawful bank charges. Definitely worth a look. Hope you manage to get a refund, last thing you need.

Hi All ,
Happy Birthday Mrsfish, for today and happy birthday Chatty for Friday.
God ,I remember doing that last year ....wheres the time gone to????

Thanks for the well wishes for my mum everyone too.

Kyala sorry to hear about your troubles,Money is the cause of so much stress dont you wish you could do without it?
The banks dont make things any easier either, bout time they were made to stop this changing lark.

Very ,Veryof you all being able to meet up....If I could drive I think I would have made the journey to see you all.Think its about time I did something about that too but not really the time to start with two young uns is it? and its so expensive to learn now.Seems daft though as there is a car parked on the drive all day that I cant use as DP goes to work in his van.Can ride a motorbike but thats not much use with the kids either is itOne day maybe then you will all need to watch out.

Ohh ,gotta tell you...Lukas slept through from 11pm to 6:30am,so it seems we are getting there after all..good lad!

Going now,got the wonderful job of cleaning the fish tank out today ,been putting it off for days(well more like weeks) but i`ve really got to do it today, along with the washing...ironing....cleaning the windows....entertaining kids................
Speak soon...byeeeee.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MMooMar · 05/03/2008 11:12

GOD....worded that last post crap! meant to say DP goes to work in the van so the car is on the drive all day but I cant use it cos I cant drive...and...maybe I will learn to drive a car one day ...not put the kids on the back of a bike!!!!!!!!Now that would have been somthing to watch out for......

Ok just waffling on now still trying to put off doing the tank

See ya xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MMooMar · 05/03/2008 11:28

Forgot to say....( still putting it off)

Tesco are cheap with there Pampers nappies at the mo,dont know if its just home delivery or what but you can save nearly 4 quid on a box of baby dry and 2-3 quid on the carry packs, even better if you have had some vouchers through from pampers recently....time to stock up me thinks....( dont know what size to get though as Lukas is nearly out of 4+ size and already wears a size 5 to bed saves me waking him properly to change him.........and cos i`m a lazy mummy)

MMooMar · 05/03/2008 11:33

ok enough smileys for today from me..that was overkill.........ok maybe one more
chose that one as I hadnt used it...lol.

Right really am going to clean the tank now,I will get it done before dinner

dal21 · 06/03/2008 08:17

MMooMar · 06/03/2008 09:52

Hi everyone. We've had a miserable few days. Good news is that dh is fine. His chest pains were not due to a heart problem, all the tests have come back clear. It has become apparent though that he stopped taking his ad's rather abruptly 2/3 weeks ago. They said this could have given him his symptoms - chest pain, sweating, dizziness etc. So they are putting it down to that. It would also explain why he's been an arsehole to me lately. Anyway, all's well that ends well. So long as his heart is healthy, that's all that matters.

Meanwhile all the dc have had that rotten cold that's been doing the rounds. Liam is still quite bad. Which brings me onto tomorrow. If he's not much better then I ought not take him out. Ds2 is still quite snotty and coughing lots too (I'd have to bring him with me) and I don't suppose you lot would be happy with us giving you our germs! But having said that, these kids bounce back very quickly don't they, we might all wake up feeling fine in the morning. So I'll see how we are tomorrow. (Am thinking I'd like to come for a very quick hello even if they are all snotty, we'll see.)

MMMar, don't envy cleaning out the fish tank. 'orrible job. One I refuse to do. That's dh's domain in our house. Unfortunately he's effing lazy he likes to "cultivate an ecosystem that doesn't require regular water changes and cleaning". Good in principle, but in practice, makes for a very green, murky and smelly fishtank. Yuk. I hate the blardy thing.
