Great news about the car POTC - was it ok getting behind the whee; again?

Mammyjo - so glad dh is being such a star - re F on the move - wriggling backwards - it's not long before they work it out and go forward! Today B has knocked over the wastepaper bin, pulled herself up on a drawer handle in the kitchen and then opened the drawer - which was surprising for her and then knocked over one of the girl's little chairs from Ikea which also seemed to come as a surprise. At least she has left the NTL box alone!

Hope you have a good night Oooggs

KHIN - blood in wee very much not ok - doctor sounds like an idiot - I would ask for a second opinion. Don't want to alarm you - but there must be a fair bit if you could see it!

B happier after tea but now needs a bath - dh will be using the pc later so I may be back or I may not - see you tomorrow if not

CaptainDyson · 05/01/2008 18:59

yes, KHIN, you should definitely seek a 2nd opinion sweetie. xx

NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 19:02

who needs NHS direct eh when they've got mumsnet

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/01/2008 19:03

Was actually less scary than I expected it to be really, though I was still a little wary.

oooggs - definately, as soon as I've saved up the petrol money, and worked out how to change gear without it making noises , we'll be there

OP posts:
CaptainDyson · 05/01/2008 19:05

LOL @ changing gear without making noises! .... and LOL @ mumsnet bieng the new NHSDirect

DD's 1 & 2 being pickles because they slept on the way back from swimming - Grrrrr!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/01/2008 19:07

J is currently screaming. I have fed him, changed him, given him medised, yet still he cries
no idea what is wrong, he is shattered, but as M is sleeping through it I'm just leaving him to it

POTC - well done for being brave - it takes a bit of doing I'm sure - re Joe's screaming - has he eaten anything interesting today?

CaptainDyson · 05/01/2008 19:20

Yes, it might be a case of the evil farty pants, perhaps!!? P screams her little heart out if she's eaten something a wee bit dodgy and needs a good old fart!! Right, seriously need to go and tidy up downstairs and pop to Tesco ...... oooh, exciting!!

NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 19:21

B was very unhappy on New Years Eve - I blamed the porridge

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/01/2008 19:21

oh we've had lots of stinky farting going on
I think it may be teeth, his cheeks are red and he's been dribbling loads

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 19:22

poor little Joe - teeth suck!

Sexonlegs · 05/01/2008 19:26

POTC, great news re the car. Hope you have any happy journeys in it!

Hi Ange!! V brave of you going to Mothercare World. I hate shopping on a Saturday.

Oooggs, have a lovely evening out.

Right, going to wish you a lovely night before dh heads back downstairs from reading B books and catches me on MN!

See you all tomorrow. xxxx

Sexonlegs · 05/01/2008 19:26

Meant to say hope you have MANY happy journeys in it!!

mammyjo · 05/01/2008 19:27

Well, to top off a fine day, F fell off the bed tonight. Totally the fault of dh and I who were both doing other things. He had gone to get her bottle and I was in ds's room changing his bed. She screamed her bloody head off, but seems ok and has gone to bed now. Am normally inclined to not let them sleep after a bump to the head, but she was yelling to go to bed, so have let her. Not sure whether that is the right thing though. Think I will be up and down checking on her for a bit Feel so miserable, I hate it. Oh my posts must be a joy to read!

Pillock, hope Joe stops screaming soon. So hard to listen to when they are like that.

Oooggs, have a fab time tonight. You deserve it

KHIN, would seek a second opinion for that tbh, but in the meantime I would say you need to drink loads. I know it hurts, but it will hurt more if you dont drink enough and your pee is concentrated (really).

AngeG · 05/01/2008 19:37

Oh dear MJ, Izzy has fallen off the bed a couple of times now, they still bounce a bit at this age don't they

SOL - Enjoy your evening with DH, nudge nudge, wink wink

POTC - Hope Joe has settled now.

Dippy - Enjoy your trip to Tesco

Have just been reading this thread am now worried our spelling of Isobelle, means I am common/chavy/uneducated etc

Maveta · 05/01/2008 19:40

Oh mammyjo.. Your post made me smile, when I first read it I thought you said you`d fallen off the bed which just gave me the funniest image sorry. I don´t think the incident is funny, just my misreading.. hope F is ok. My sister is 7 years younger than me and I have very vivid memories of her regularly falling off my parents´ bed onto the floor, often hitting the bedside table on her way down. She was always fine Or maybe that does explain some things, actually

KHIN - that sounds sore, you poor thing. How was Christian?

Pillock and CD - hope the kids have all settled a bit more now

We just went to the village square to see the 3 kings who are the big present-givers here. Although Santa is more popular these days it´s only because it´s so commercialised, traditionally the 3 kings do it. It´s so well organised, you take a present for your kid(s) to the town hall and then on the night there´s a big parade and the kings arrive on their floats and take their places on their thrones and then distributed the presents to the relevant children. Great, hey? We didn´t do it this year but will do next year.

Right, off to look for some food...

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/01/2008 19:56

Ange, I've met you and you are none of those things
(and trust me, Dippy was worried I would be a chav )

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 05/01/2008 20:10

Sneaked back on!

Oh MJ, hope F is ok. K fell off the bed a couple of days ago and is fine. You are having a rough ride. I really feel for you. xx

Ange, you are the least chavviest (sp?) person I have ever met!
Nudge Nudge wink wink indeed - I think dh is after some! God help me!!

NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 20:16

good grief sol - we can't have that! Doesn't he know you've just had a baby - or does that excuse wear out after nearly nine months....

Sexonlegs · 05/01/2008 20:19

NL, I know - 'tis a shocker! Knocking back the red wine!!!! I am awful, sorry! I do love dh to bits, but by the end of the day all I want is sleep!!!!!
