Kneehighinnappies · 05/01/2008 16:36

Hello again, sorry for this but I am coming on here to MOAN!

I went into London to see a show with my sis last night, we had 2 glasses of wine and during the show (which I didn't want to miss a second of as it had the future Mr KHIN in it Christian Slater )

I had to go for a wee 5 time and then I started to wee BLOOD
I was a tad woried and missed a whole load of the show
I then went to the Dr who said it is just a kidney infection but she would give me anything to help get rid of it, she just said "make sure you drink plenty of fluids to flush it out"
As if I didn't know that already, but I don't want to drink loads of fluids as it hurts like hell when I wee
How fucking useless that Dr was

Sorry for that just had to vent I feel better now.

Eddas · 05/01/2008 17:07

tesco codes I have this thread on my watched ones and have only ocassionally had to pay for delivery

Off to read the rest of the thread as I wanted to post that before I forgot

Eddas · 05/01/2008 17:08

KHIN I really can't believe you bad luck with illnesses hope you get better soon and you get to be illness free as a whole family for a few weeks, if not longer

cazboldy · 05/01/2008 17:31

The worst thing was I was stunned! I had no idea what to say to him, which is a very rare occurence for me!

KHIN hope you feel better soon - what a crappy doctor. can you get a second opinion? A kidney infection is not just like a urine infection and you need antibiotics ffs you were/ are peeing blood!!!

Sexonlegs · 05/01/2008 17:41

Hiya loves

Hope all is well.

Caz, sorry about your crash. Fabulous trip to the supermarket tho!! I might give up on on-line shopping and see what happens!!

MJ, I am sorry you had a run in with ds. As NL says, we all do it, feel dreadful about it etc. I hope you are ok now. xx

Pesha, hope D had a good nap and is now refreshed.

Oooggs, how are you doing now?

KHIN, weeing blood - sounds awful. Hope you are ok. I would be tempted to get a second opinion I have to say.

Hi Eddas!!! How is dd today?

All ok here. Had a productive day and have promised dh I won't go on MN tonight! Oh no!!!!!

Will be back later I am sure - sneaking a look. xx

oooggs · 05/01/2008 17:48

I'm ok and am going out for a meal and wine tonight with Guiding friends. Have a lift there and back and will be sat the whole time.

AngeG · 05/01/2008 17:51

Hello

MJ - Sorry you're feeling low at the moment, hope you start to feel brighter soon. Glad DH is being supportive.

Caz, Sounds like a great trip to the supermarket you lucky thing!

Pesha/Eddas - Thanks for the tesco codes

KHIN - Weeing blood doesn't sound good, think I'd be tempted to ring NHS direct and ask for their opinions as well, but tbh it is right about drinking more it will help to flush the problem through, but would still have thought you'd need antibiotics.

Oooggs - How are you feeling now? Glad you decided to do an online shop! Keep trying to take it easy.

Pesha - Hope D settles and you are able to have a bath, can't remember when I last had the time to shave my legs, they are not looking pretty

Hello SOL Well done you for a productive day. We went to mothercare world to get a replacement toy for Izzy, what a nightmare that was, the traffic was awful.

Am now on laptop as DH is watching.....surprise surprise football!!

AngeG · 05/01/2008 17:53

Sorry X posts Oooggs, hope you have a good time tonight xx

NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 18:01

Ange! Izzy is not a toy - you cannot just swop her at mothercare - go back right now and fetch her!!!!!

AngeG · 05/01/2008 18:04

I just read that back!!

She dropped her most beloved teething beads in Marks and Spencer yesterday so we were buying some more!!

AngeG · 05/01/2008 18:06

How are you NL?

Eddas · 05/01/2008 18:09

caz, hope you are ok after your incident with the car. Or more improtantly the supermarket man

SOL, dd not been too bad glad it's bedtime very shortly though

Ange, don't ya just love the footie we get no choice but to watch kids tv most of the day[rolls eyes]

I'm going to take dd to see ratatouie(i've written that about 40 times now none of which are right and now i'm too confused to work it out, hopefully you know what i mean) tomorrow, if she's good! It's the kids club film and looks quite good.

NorthernLurker · 05/01/2008 18:10

I'm fine - just been making a beef stew - dh has taken dd2 to the theatre today and dd1 is at her sunday school christmass treat - bowling - so it's just me and a rather cross B who wants her tea , back later

AngeG · 05/01/2008 18:21

Oooh that film looks good Eddas.

I think I only ever watch kids tv/dvds and bloody sport.

Mmm beef stew, sounds lovely! Hope B is happier once she has been fed!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/01/2008 18:23

oooggs · 05/01/2008 18:54

sounds very nice and as though it needs a really good long run out (like somewhere really down south) for you to get used to it
