I disappear to look at cottages, and you're gossiping away!
Wilkie - omg I have everything crossed for your dh. [excited emoticon]. And great news about the bonus. Where you gonna go?

Oh, needc to go (hoepfully for a short while only). Dh just dishing up risotto for tea. Buns for pudding ??

LTH good luck wiping paw prints off your kitchen floor. You brave brave woman.

Laters.

ladytophamhatt · 14/01/2008 20:56

no, tis me. I namechaged for something the other day and forgot to pt them back in when I changed back.....

Wilkie · 14/01/2008 20:59

LTH - great fun!!!!!

Lizz - 11mo apart! Fuck!

Hmmm, I know it is my dilemma but WHAT would you do?? Go away for a spa day with your BF or use the money to go away for 4 days to Center Parcs with J and DH?

theUrbanDryad · 14/01/2008 20:59

i remain unconvinced. prove it.

Wilkie · 14/01/2008 20:59

Reggie - you would have to be my NBF if we moved to Leeds. What is Morley like?

2happy · 14/01/2008 21:01

Having just been to CP for the first time, that's where my vote would go. Go to CP, then guilt your dh into paying for you to go to the spa there

Lizzzombie · 14/01/2008 21:03

DOH! Spa day with BF of course.
J is too young to appreciate it, and won't mind!

Lizzzombie · 14/01/2008 21:06

wilkie - whats going on...why no profile?

ladytophamhatt · 14/01/2008 21:06

Prove it....??

Ummmm.

wha'dya wanna know then?

eandh · 14/01/2008 21:06

I'd do spa day - you worked for it you get the treat!!

UD - the pics on lth profile do show George (and Zac!!) so maybe it is her

Rgee - oh cool I will love to see you on Sat. I'll come to you cos then next time you can come to my new house. If I have time I'll make a ginger cake to bring with me as belated birthday treat. Impresse dwith your bun making tonight!

Lizz - I can't remember the difference between mini pill and pill. To do with hormones I think. Google it !

Wilkie - poor you and J. I have found temp and hunger affect E's sleeping but her prob is waking in small hours not actaully going to sleep.

Sorry for no more personals, it sbusy on here tonight! Got to dry hair and get to bed as alarm at 5ish tomorrow.....

Lizzzombie · 14/01/2008 21:12

Vino - I didnt realised you had moved! Wow! Fab! Hope its all going well x

vinorouge · 14/01/2008 21:14

oooooh wilkie fingers crossed for dh. BTW Morley is alright, we nearly moved there last year cos its where I work so I could have walked there rather than rely on DH or the bus. We decided against it cos I was pg and I wanted to be where I knew and felt safe iykwim. You could still come and live near me ???!!!!

MrsCarrot · 14/01/2008 21:14

Wilkie - Spa, no question!

Reggiee - very good, I will look out for reggie1 now. There is a verylittlecarrot on here too, I've been asked if I'm her a couple recently.

I need to go to a spa I think. Mmm, a facial and a massage.

vinorouge · 14/01/2008 21:16

Lizz - keep up!!! not moved yet. waiting for date to be confirmed. and yes before you ask I will post a pic when we are finally in ! BTW I psml at thought of you cooing over the new babies at work. When we were on way home from hosp I made DH wait in the car while I went in to Mothercare to find a feeding pillow then I sat in the car with Ellen while he went in to pay. I had no purse and i was nervous about getting the car seat out of the car!!

theUrbanDryad · 14/01/2008 21:16

MIL is better now. i think the "punch her in the face" incident actually helped. she's chilled out a lot, and Zac absolutely loves her and FIL. he goes down and plays with them all morning while we have a lie in when we go to stay!

theUrbanDryad · 14/01/2008 21:18

not sure how that happened! Vino - Z's first trip out was to Toys r Us at 3 days old! we just put the car seat in the trolley - bad mother

Wilkie · 14/01/2008 21:20

Just put pics of the birthday bash on my profile.

Signing off now to watch a film.

Later x

Reggiee · 14/01/2008 21:25

Back but quickly only. Am here on the pretence of looking for nice holidays.
Wilkie - tough call. But think you prob deserve summat for yourself so go spa. Or CP with your best mate - they have a spa there Think Morley's ok but Vino knows that side of Leeds better.

Eah theMothercare shit incident happened about 15 years ago, but I can still smell the stench of it if I put my mind to it (I try not to). The first I knew of it was when I saw one of my mates gagging and running towards me from the other end of the shop. Then a customer came to tell me a lady in the tiolet needed help. Thankfully I was merely a young Saturday gal, so just watched the drama unfold. One of my colleage got a tub of wipes and some paper knickers and gave them to the lady in the toilet. She had shit hersself with such force, it had ricocheted (sp?) out of 'the pan' onto one of the side walls, with small splatters on the ceiling. Urghhh. The manager had to clean it up cos we all refused, but it was so bad the potty and step up stool in there were chucked. The smell seemed to linger for weeks....

Look forward to catching up Vino. YEah!!

On that note, I'm off for the evening. Catch up later. Don't talk too much

susiecutiemincepies · 14/01/2008 22:38

It Looks lovely up there LIzz. I'd love to live by the sea. I'm a bit far from it here.

Was thinking about the sleeping issues some of you are also having. Isobel is just a bloody nightmare at the moment. I dont think its teeth, but it might be. SHe refuses a feed from me, or from a bottle at bed time now. I'm at the end of my tether with not getting a nights sleep. I've not had one single night, since she was born.....

I am going to have to do something soon, and might have to go for CC, which I always said I would never do. I feel ive tried everything though.

LAst night, she ended up coming in with me, and being awake, talking to me, in the dark, pulling the covers up, pulling up my top and sticking her finger in my belly button, helping herself to each side of boob, then chatting again... this went on for 2 and a half a hours...

I just dont know what to do next! Get really strict I suppose. I want to comfort her, I want to feed her, if she's hungry or thirsty, I just also want to get a full nights sleep at least 3 nights in 7!

ANY ideas? or am I asking for the holy grail?!!!

Maybe, it is their age, and a growth sprurt or developmental thing to do with their minds being more active ore something

eandh · 15/01/2008 08:37

happy birthday Jacob and Abigail

Not much to report here except its chucking it down with rain and really windy
(the garden furniture has blown over ) will be interesting doing the school run this morning.

Was umming and aaaring whether to go to toddler group with Hattie whilst E at school but its to wet and windy so think we'll come home, need to photograp some more clothes and stick them on my picturetrail so will try and do that.

Just got back from dropping Dj off at nursery and popping to the Drs - totally wet through. I'd love to have my own car. Its not fair ! Have had to completely change clothes!

Dr has put me onto cileste so hopefully my thoughts of mass murder and suicide etc will ease up a bit now! he looked a bit shocked when I was describing my symptoms!

UD - what was the "punch in the face" incident? I think I missed that.

reggie - Omg, that shit incident sounds foul. Reminds me of working as a temp one xmas in an old (mental) folks home. My first job on my first day at 6am was to clear up a bathroom....where one of the patients had just been given an enema. Needless to say, I only lasted one day!

Right, really must utilise my free morning and not sit on here any longer!

Hope all is well.
Wilks - birthday photos are adorable!

Wilkie · 15/01/2008 11:23

Hmmmmmmmmmm, am at work so no personals.

Am thinking of CP with BF, DH, her DH and boys but having a spa day there for one of the days.

I AM SO BORED. I LITERALLY HAVE NOTHING TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
