RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 18/12/2007 10:52

aw katy, hope you are ok. I bloody hate arguements

lol at the huns pesha

Just been to the post office to collect a parcel and it's my secret santa present I haven't opened it yet but there's little clues on each pressie(there's 4!) and I think I know what 2 of them are.

Parcel 1 says they wish they could by me a real one am thinking a car(plus it feels like it!)

Parcel 2 syasy two of my favourite things combined, sound like smarties, so am guessing PINK ones

Parcel 3 doesn't say anything, feels like maybe socks

Parcel 4 says to enhance my mumsnet experience. Not sure on that one

I'm going to try and wait til christmas day as I won't get many pressies

THANK YOU SECRET SANTA

tcmummy · 18/12/2007 10:52

EPB - Sorry to hear it's stressful with dh. As someone said xmas is such a crunch time it always puts stress on relationships. xx

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 10:54

To enhance MN experience, hmm.....

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 10:55

maybe it's a cushion to reduce your bedsores from sitting infront of the computer for so long?
(Not a comment about YOU in particular, just the addictiveness of MN )

mumsnet enjoyment not experiance, sorry, but still not any idea.

TCM don't usually have to giess much as it's kinda obvious but it's fun to try!

Could be a laptop, would be very small

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 11:00

well it could be more smarties - to eat in front of mn

Had to go to docs yesterday. T's chest infection is really bad and making him wheeze loads .

He's got a baby inhaler . I have asthma and I'm really sad to see him with one. I know this doesn't mean he has asthma, but it's still horrible. Poor little mite.

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 11:08

Oh no tcmummy When do you expect to see an improvement or take him back? Really hope he's better soon.

tcmummy · 18/12/2007 11:11

Doc didn't say how long it would last. He said it might turn into Bronchitis. really hope it doesn't

DippyChristmas · 18/12/2007 11:13

Poor little T ,tcmummy, praying for him - DD2 has comes out with the most awful eczema, poor love. Break your heart to see them suffering, doesn't it!!? xxxx

Yey for Secret Santa gifts eh, Eddas!!?

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 18/12/2007 11:14

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 11:17

DippyChristmas · 18/12/2007 11:22

LOL EPB - I do agree though!

ElfPolarBear · 18/12/2007 11:23

I'm sure she didn't need me to tell her that but I have been looking to dispense some "motherly advice" for ages!

Morning! Afternoon here already but I´ve had a productive day so far. Took dh to work, put new carseat in car, done food shop, come home, fed N and put him down, made cheesy biscuits and pumpkin and courgette fritters for N. The cheesy biscuits are lovely.

tcmummy - sorry to here poor T isn´t on top form but hope he bounces back soon x

IMBM - was fun speaking to you yesterday too - i work mon, wed, fri, so probably up for a repeat tomorrow? Certainly not going to do any actual work.. come on! it´s my last work day before christmas...yaaaaaay..

Can´t help with the fridge talk, we have an Endesit and it´s fine but I´m not sure it´s worth recommending. It does the job. I´d get a bosch next time cos I´ve heard so many good things about them

Lol at pooey nappy talk, N still does about 90% of his poos on the toilet so I hardly change pooey nappies..YAAAAY (again) but in general changing him is taking much longer than before and is so tiring.

The monster stirs, back later xx

tcmummy · 18/12/2007 11:36

lol! I have been wrapping him up like a little eskimo! Not sure what else I can do.

Have a nice lunch dippy!

tcmummy · 18/12/2007 11:41

at '90% of his poos on the toilet' and That is IMPRESSIVE!!

And at productive morning. What's that ??

Careful ladies I think we may have an alpha mummy in our midst!!

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 18/12/2007 11:49

Lol at alpha mummy!!

TCM, hope he is feeling much better soon. Ds had an inhaler from tiny, and it used to be awful to try and give it to him as he would scream his head off. Did help though so was worth it, just made me feel very mean.

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 18/12/2007 11:52

I too have not commented on the big debate and for the same reasons. I was completely unaware that anything was or is going on, so dont feel informed enough to make any sort of judgement about anyone.
I have always found this thread to be incredibly friendly and supportive, and I hope that it can continue for a long time to come, as I would miss the friendships I have developed here.
