OMYGOD!Im away for a fortnight and everyones with child!I shall scroll down to find out more! How exciting!!!

Well lovelies, have been away with my cousin whose husband has left her-his Mum was her cm so have been looking after her little ones whilst she is at work..they are 4 and 18 months so with my pair as well I am just about worn out, lordy..

back home now as Lilys Bumps and babes group 2nd birthday party for the kids tomorrow and im in charge of sandwiches..then home to Mama's for Christmas..

Have missed you all-couldve done with some of your wise words for the cousin who is in bits..the H came and took all his stuff but also the babies pram for some reason so she is convinced her is going to steal the kids..he is a prize tit anyway..

But how exciting--congrats to my dearest TYG and to Sky

Drove past your house today as a matter of fact TYG as had to call into work to do Christmas cheer visit with kids but didnt want to call in unannounced

nice to be back (again)xx

scootermum · 21/12/2007 20:07

AND JULIE?!Congratulations honey!Relax..two under two is a total piece of piss..(Scoot takes her third valium of the day)

AM-Sorry about your Grandad..what a time of year as well..love to you darling..xx

scootermum · 21/12/2007 20:26

And sorry to hear about your Grandad too Lupins

Hi to Tam..glad to see yo..texted you a few months ago and worried when I didnt hear back-nice to see you!

AChristmasMeadow · 21/12/2007 20:42

Hey Scoot, wow you have had your hands full. Why do people have to behave like that?!

scootermum · 21/12/2007 20:54

He is just a prize wolly is all..

How is Jackanory AM? All Christmassed up?L only just recognises Santa this year but next year I think she will burst with excitement for Christmas and her birthday..

Pinkjenny · 21/12/2007 21:25

Sorry to hear about your grandad AM - what a crappy time of year to have to go through it. Thinking of you xx

Hey Scoot - nice to see you back , good to hear L and M keeping you busy as usual. I was thinking of you today as I lunched with a friend who has a 7 month old and a 2 year old. I was stressed just watching her. Don't know how you do it lady. for your cousin. Men are just shits. And cowards. When my uncle left my aunty after 17 years and a 15 year old and 18 month old, his parents (!) turned up at her door and said, 'Our Brian's not coming back'. Unbelievable.

Lexie is fine. Gorgeous little thing. Weighed yesterday and is 16lb 10oz. Has her bottom two peggies and I think will be crawling before the New Year, god help us all.

I had my firwst incident of other child rage yesterday. Was at lunch (again) with a friend and her 3 year old. She gave L one of her books and obviously she started to chew it. Said child was crying and going, 'get it back off her mummy', and moved all her stuff away from her. L was perplexed. I wanted to kill her. Unreasonable? Me?

Also, the Round Table come round every year with Father Christmas, and collect money and all the kids go into the street and see him. Well they pitched up the other night at half eight and parked outside my house with their bloody carols blaring. I went outside and gave them a piece of my mind. Dh was pissing himself in the house and said I just kept pointing at Lexie's window.

Maybe I actually am mad.

oopswediditagain · 21/12/2007 21:58

evening ladies, how are you all?

Hi scoot & tam lovely to have you back. Thanks scoot i reckon tyg, sky and myself will be coming to you for lots of advice especially as I appear to have a nutter of a child already lord knows what No.2 will be like.

Also how come last week when I thought there was nothing going on I just felt a bit quesy but ok since doing the tests and getting a positive I know have full on morning sickness and am knackered.

Scoot what a knob head!!

PJ nice to see you love, hows things with DH a bit better? Sodding round table bah humbug.

Lups sorry to hear about your Grandad.

Pinkjenny · 21/12/2007 22:12

Hey Julie - sorry to hear you're feeling a bit pukey.

Dh is ok I guess, still banging on about nookie etc. I'm trying to ignore him. He's on his Xmas Do tonight though.

Just been on a Strictly Come Dancing forum, not contributing, just reading. Jesus, these people take it seriously. Come on Alesha!!! I went to Salsa class last night. It was fab. x

oopswediditagain · 21/12/2007 22:20

I too want Alesha to win but wouldnt chuck Matt out of bed, is that wrong am sure hes only about 18 I could be his Mrs Robinson.

AChristmasMeadow · 21/12/2007 22:46

Jackanory is very excited about Xmas and the whole 'if you dont start doing as you are told then father xmas wont bring you X' is really doing the trick. Also the frequent 'phone calls' to FC work like a dream We are off to visit FC on the WaterCress Line on Sunday, nice cold damp old steam train.

Julie how did your GP appt go today?

MumtoCharlotteMay · 22/12/2007 01:40

Morning........!

Can't find the time in the day to get on and keep up with the thread so thought I'd pop on now before bed lol - chatterboxes!

Oh dear lord, is there something in the water? Is that 3 of the May ladies preggers?! Yer all blimmin' mad! Congrats to all

AM and Lupins, very sorry to hear of your loss', especially at this time of year. Hope you're both ok.

Tam and Scoot good to 'see' you. Tam, I hope they're on the mend, Scoot that sounds like an eventful week with all the kids!

Not too much to report this end. Still no teeth, but madam is crawling! Must get the safety gates up....... She also said 'MUM' as clear as day on Thursday. I know she wouldn't have meant to say it, but she was babbling away to me and then she said it amoungst the babbles! My sister's coming up tomorrow night for a week, really excited. I'm now wondering if I want to go down the teaching road after all, and may take a drastic switch to Criminology. Decisions decisions, Ucas has to be in January 15th!

Anyway, I is knackered! Off to get into bed and watch some Blackadder. Bought some Baby monitors the other day for £10.00, reduced from £30.00, which means I can sleep in the spare room with the big, comfy double bed. It used to be mine, but C's cotbed is so frickin big I've had to go down to a single. I'm still not completely over it The things you have to do eh!

Hope all are well, LW x

AChristmasMeadow · 22/12/2007 07:58

Well i was cleaning up vomit at 1.30 last night! Ds had already coughed himself sick at 10pm only to do the same again at 1.30 once he had come into our bed YUK,YUK,YUK. Dh moved so quickly and luckily the only victims were the undersheet and dh's pillow. Dh had to sort ds as he cannot do vom. Once i had put the washing machine on and re-made the bed i lay there thinking that i may vom as well.

On the upside, dh got ds back to sleep in his own bed and he woke at 7am and Ella DID NOT wake up. So thats the 2nd time she has slept through this month [frgin]

oopswediditagain · 22/12/2007 08:53

sorry for the vom but way hey on the sleeping.

Hi LW good to see you, wow crawling A was attempting it but has subsequently decided that sitting is far too much fun and he cant be arsed to crawl.

GP was fine she laughed her ass off and has made sure I am with the same midwife again so she can laugh at me to. Faxed the request for a scan through and asked for an app asap. Also when in the reception area making my booking app the receptionist nearly fell off her chair when asked when LMP was so the whole waiting room heard too.

Have a great weekend everyone.

AChristmasMeadow · 22/12/2007 09:29

Sorry but that made me chuckle! Glad that you are in the system now and how exciting that it shouldnt be too long before you get to see bean. Have you told any RL people yet? Somehow i cant see the 'i'm on tablets so cant drink' card working for you......

Well done to C on the crawling, need eyes in your arse now! Ella is like grease lightening and one minute you can see her and the next she is trying to climb into the cupboards

MKG · 22/12/2007 12:36

hello all,

Well my mom is officially on your side of the pond. I wish I was with her. I think her plane is landing now. Well I'm all ready for Christmas. I just need to do some food shopping so I have everything in place. Tomorrow I will be in cookie making mode. I love making the Christmas cookies. It's one of my favorite parts.

Pebblemum · 22/12/2007 14:33

I am sat here with a list of things to do but i cant be arsed I know that i will be kicking myself later when im rushing around trying to do the washing, ironing, packing bags etc but I just have no motivation at the moment, keep thinking that I have all of tomorrow to do it. Someone please give me a kick up the bum

Any ideas how i can clean bacardi off of my keyboard, managed to spill some on there last night (what a waste), thought i had got it all off but now my G,H,J keys keep sticking. Have tried using a cotton bud to get right in there but that hasnt worked. Darent tell dh, he might ban me from drinking lol

E is having a root through the presents my mum brought round but so far he hasnt found any that are for him, he now thinks she has forgotten him lol

Dh bought me some sexy undies today (I had been moaning that i didnt have any)they were supposed to be a suprise but he wanted to make sure i liked them. I thought they were for Christmas but they werent. He just bought them as a special present, to tell me how much he loved me aaaahhhh!!! (although im sure there is an ulterior motive lol)

largevirginbirthandtonic · 23/12/2007 06:27

They left the laptop

Calm is restored.

The children have deserted me, no one looked bothered, bunch of Judas'. Little Beau is all alone and behaving impeccably (thats why i'm up at this ungodly hour ) 520 is time to get up in B world.

TAM!! No vanishing again, so nice to have you back. You have been missed. Tilda is gorgeous.

Julie pmsl at the waiting room antics, my lmp would be 27th july 2006. The day i moved house, oh that was fun...

Scoot, you saint, helping out your friend. She must be so grateful to have you, the poor thing. Men can be such shit's. Send her the power of mn vibes, they are magic

SOH stop wailing, i'm here, not there admittedly but here. We miss you too. DH told me to man up the other day, needless to say the phrase is still bandied about with increasing frequency and divorce is being threatened as often as phone calls to santa...

Everyone look at the Norad Santa site, countdown to his visit. Gets very exciting on Xmas Eve, they track him by satellite

AChristmasMeadow · 23/12/2007 08:07

LG&T, YAY you have the internet!

Ella slept through again J woke dh up 5 times. Dh is not happy and is hoping to have a nice long lie in this morning.

Another early evening of clearing up vomit [yuk] DOnt know why he is coughing is all of a sudden making hin sick. I would say that he has done it 5/6 in a fortnight.

Off to see Santa on the WaterCress Line this afternoon. J is very excited. He saw the local Lions Club Santa yesterday and told him all about the present he most wants for Christmas. Santa told him the elves were making it and he spent the rest of the afternoon telling us what Santa had said

ShowOfHands · 23/12/2007 13:17

You can all stop what you're doing right now.

Christmas is farking cancelled.

I have spoken.

Pebblemum · 23/12/2007 15:39

Whats up SOH?

Ive just spent all morning tidying up while dh took the kids to MIL's, only for ds2 to come home and decide to turn his bedroom into Santas Grotto ie lining all his teddies up so they can see Santa (him), hes also gone and got toys out to give them as gifts .

I still havent done the ironing or packed our bags, knew i should have done it yesterday Ive been deserted by ds1 who has gone round our neighbour's and dh has gone to the pub so no help there. Dh wasnt going to go to the pub but i thought it was only fair, im off out tomorrow night between 6 and 9pm so he will be left to deal with a very excited ds2 lol. Im off to bingo to try to win back some of the money ive spent on Christmas, doubt if i will be very lucky but you never know

MKG · 23/12/2007 16:22

SOH please don't cancel Christmas. What am I supposed to do with all these cookies?

Let's all sing a happy seven month b-day to Cruz. He's a funny guy. He sits himself up and stays there. Then he gets so proud of himself that he starts laughing and falls over. It's cute to watch. He did break my heart yesterday though. He droppped him off with sil before work and he saw me leave (like usual) and he started to cry and did his inchworm crawl to the door after me.

StarlightStarbrightSKYTVtonite · 23/12/2007 16:37

Hi all

I got my secret santa - thanks LG&T (not so secret when you have to put your name and address on the back!). C looks lovely in his reindeer sweatshirt and I look forward to lots of pampering with the creams etc.

Just about ready for xmas in the Sky household. My mum came yesterday and really motivitated me to get on so got loads done and the DDs helped too. The washing is now not pouring over the sides of the wash bins and covering the (now clean) bathroom floor. Just got back from shopping for Boxing Day.

DDs are with their Dad so going to my sisters for xmas lunch and DPs brother for tea. We are doing Boxing Day here. DP just had to pay for the shopping so I don't think we will be doing it very often .

Will probably not be on here for a couple of day so hope you all have a lovely xmas

AbbyLou · 23/12/2007 19:37

Oh my god I am so sad. I have just wept through Noel's Christmas presents!

camerYULEmama · 23/12/2007 20:34

SOH, Christmas is most definitely not cancelled in Somerset, get yourself through the fog on your tractor and over to the chaos of our house, i promise to feed you with oodles of mulled wine gingerbread and hot chocolate and M and J can dance at each other. While we are on the subject, you can just call off that BAA airport worker's strike you have organised because I am bloody well leaving this country on Jan 2nd come hell or high water because everything is pretty much packed, chucked out or recycled. So there.

Tam you have returned, how fabulous And Scoot...for a small smidgeon of a moment I thought you might not be posting because you were up the duffski as well What a good samaritan you are.

MKG, I just love the thought of Cruz laughing so much he falls over, that is very cute

LG&T, time alone, only you dh and Beau?? We all know what you are going to be up to

April how was this afternoon? Was Jack excited or did he go all shy? I keep wondering what time of the middle of the night are my two going to be awake this year....

twasthenightbeforechristmouse · 24/12/2007 01:12

Well who wishes she hadn't stopped up 'til 5:00 this morning getting the house straight whilst DH "worked" hmmph on his laptop and now the house looks worse than when I started and he is so tired as I kept him up 'til 2:00 (bearing in mind I was downstairs and he was in bed) so he has crashed out.

Methinks he will be getting up in morning with kids.

Merry Christmas all
Ho Ho Ho
