also sorry forgot thank god you have 1 sleeping child AM lets hope it passes on to Jack.

pebble what a pain about the disturbed night I know exactly what you mean if A wakes I am like a zombie the next day.

SKY couple of days and your boobs will feel ok, mine did weird dribbles at random time for a couple of weeks but I think slowly doing it is then best way to stop feeding.

LG&T hows the chicken coup?

largeginandtonic · 15/01/2008 08:27

Absolutely dredful about the little baby Julie, i cant even beging to imagine how it must feel

AM i am glad work was ok, you will slot right back in before you know it.

Latinomummy your mom sounds lovely, what a fantastic thing to do! You must tell us all about it. We are here to talk to

The chicken coop is done Needs some paint and some chickens and we are ready to lay No chickens till next month though because the washing machine broke

Wish i could win the lottery...

Work now > hope the little 2 week old Oliver goes Methinks i am a hopeless case.

AprilMeadow · 15/01/2008 09:35

Julie how awful I think i took fibregel on occasions to help ease blockages

Am at work!! First full day and i have been here about 10 mins and already i am posting on MN

I am sure E has cracked it now as she went through last night as well, which meant that i could get up with J. Now when dh gets up with him he wakes 2-3 times and is a pickle... last night he woke once and that was at 4.45. Dh was gutted i was very pleased and J went straight back to sleep hehehehe

Managed to get up, showered, dressed and kids to nursery within an hour of being awake. I hope its that easy every day

Hope you lovely ladies have a lovely day x

AprilMeadow · 15/01/2008 09:35

I really should use punctuation in my posts.

Pinkjenny · 15/01/2008 10:42

Pebble - am so glad you posted re the milk feed thing. Lexie is a nightmare at the moment with her milk. She's only having three bottles a day now, and all three of them are generally a big struggle, with the 7pm one always being a complete palaver. She loves her solids though, but doesn't like anything creamy.

She has two teeth but is definitely getting a couple more, she has been so whiny the last couple of days. Not crawling yet, but can go backwards and sideways and does a mean skydiver impression.

She has her 8 month check at 2.30 today, which always worries me because of her hips.

Sleeping is a nightmare too. She's still getting in with us, which is fine on the nights where she just sleeps, but the fidgeting nights are awful.

Apart from all that, it's great!!! Only joking, she's fab really, just a little madam. xx

twasthenightbeforechristmouse · 15/01/2008 11:25

Okay first day I have chance to start catching up and I get a phone call saying the new house is flooded. Get here now. Don't know what I will find when I get there fancy a swim anyone?

Will catch up later DEFFO.

Hope work is not too bad AM, PJ hope the 8 month check goes well, LGT hurrah for chickens and fresh eggs hoping to get some when we move although may have to change that to ducks now .

largeginandtonic · 15/01/2008 12:41

Oh no CM! Hope it is not too bad when you get there. Ducks lay lovely big eggs

Pink!!! Heloooo, dont worry about the bottle nightmare. Some of mine would not take hardly any milk after i started solids, it made no difference at all to how they developed or behaved Fret not. I hope the check goes ok, her hips seem ok to you know?

Beau all over the bloody place and yelling when i leave the room. Tricky to say the least, i seem to remember it does not last too long though. He will be crawling round after me at this rate! Noooo

AM back to work you Well done on the sleeping Ella and J, amazing what a night sleep will do for you.

I must go and have lunch but B is glaring at me as if to stay leave this room feel my wrath...

Lupins71 · 15/01/2008 13:10

Hello all, we are still alive but lifes a little crazy - not that thats anything unusual!!

A is now 21lb 5oz had him weighed yesterday, he too is a pickle with his milk and is on 3 bottles which are hard work, cant overdo it on the dairy tho as he is starting to get excema - it runs in the family so not too worried

When i get a proper chance i will catch up with ev1's news, afraid i have been going to bed ludicrously early (like 7.30) am so pooped atm also A has taken to co sleeping not that i mind but it means i dont get a deep sleep

JW so sorry about baby news hope awful cant begin to imagine how horrible that must be

AM hows work going?

Pebblemum · 15/01/2008 17:37

Poor A is all snotty and chesty again, kept waking up last night. She was awake when dh got home and when she saw him she sat up and said dada, it was so sweet, shame it was 1am though!! She has just woke from her longest nap today-15mins, wish she would nap for longer. That brings the total amount of sleep shes had today to 30mins

E has had toothache so i gave him some medised (ran out of calpol) and now he is fast asleep lol.

largeginandtonic · 16/01/2008 09:16

Beau is having sleep avoidance therapy from somewhere i'm sure For the last 2 days he has only had 2 small 15 min naps in the day. I can get nothing done and it is driving me crazy! We have a friend coming at the weekend and i wanted to dust the chandaliers and polish the good silver (pmsl) I also had to make about a hundred choc fudge cup cakes for work yesterday as they were having a Freshers week stall for all the newbie Navy chaps. Tricky whaen you are perching a grabbing machine on your left hip

Today i am going to toddlers and hoping he will sleep afterwards, i do not hold out much hope...

Lups dont say those words too loudly, they may bite you on the ass

Lupins71 · 16/01/2008 12:54

arggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry justed needed to do that having one of those days

ikwym about not getting anything done, my chandliers are soo dusty lol

A was kind of chatting last night at 12.30, his b's are really good now

please can i have some yummy choc cake thingy - sounds like just what i need right now - well that and 20grand!!

Pebble hope A gets better soon xx

mom2latinoboys · 16/01/2008 14:59

I don't have chandaliers simply because I know I wouldn't dust them.

Well I got what I thought was a period, but it wasn't it was two days of the smallest spotting you've ever seen. I was all excited to be myself again.

largeginandtonic · 16/01/2008 16:23

Spotting and you have been having sex Latinomom.... that can only mean one thing.

Lups how is the declaring bankrupt thingy going?

mom2latinoboys · 16/01/2008 16:31

OH LG&T, I don't think so. My craving for tomatoes hasn't reared it's ugly head, when it does I will entertain the possibility.

largeginandtonic · 16/01/2008 16:37

Tomatoes oh i had forgotten about them... and it was you was it not that drinks Marinara sauce?! Nutter.

Will be watching you closely

mom2latinoboys · 16/01/2008 16:42

Yes I drank the marinara sauce, but it was totally beyond my control.

By the way LG&T, how many more do you think you'll have?

AbbyLou · 16/01/2008 17:28

Hi everyone, just dashing in and trying to catch up a bit. You can tell I'm back at work, I can't keep up again! C has settled much better at Nursery now and he hasn't cried at all this week so we're really proud of him. He has brought home a library book tonight and a record book for us to write comments after we have read it with him. I am a teacher and I don't have a clue what to write!!
R is very settled at the cm and is trying lots of new food. Today she had a ham sandwich for the first time and wolfed it down apparently.
Anyway, I had better go, I think R has finished her apple and all hell is breaking loose.

Pinkjenny · 16/01/2008 17:36

HI all

Hips bloody fine, but now the f*ing doctor said she 'might have' a SQUINT! He said he wasn't sure. So now we've been referred for this! Feel persecuted.

Anyway, this child does not have a f*ing squint. Tossers.

Sorry, I needed that.

Tossers.

AprilMeadow · 16/01/2008 19:59

I am soooooooooooooooooooooo tired. Work Mon pm, all day yest and 9-2 today. Only have to work 3 hrs tomorrow and then thats me done for the week

Ella is loving nursery but is totally knackered! Both her and J come home with massive bags under their eyes - they look so cute. Ella is only having a max of 1hr sleep during the day when she has been used to having 2-3hrs pd.

Got her new car seat today and its great.

Well done to J on her first tooth

Sorry to see that so many of the bubbas are not sleeping in the day.

scootermum · 16/01/2008 20:09

Hi all,

Glad work went ok AM ..I ahve to go in to work next Weds to discuss coming back in Feb and I dont even want to do that, let alone go back proper

No teeth here either..but M seems to be eating far too much, looking at what everyone else is..she has a weetabix in the moning, a bowl of veg and then a bowl of fruit for lunch, similar for tea, but usually some pureed meat, and 3 7 0z bottles a day..what a biffa!I must say I have gone mad on making baby food this time,I am pureeing everything! This is odd as Lily had exactly NO home made baby food at all and had all jars , and actually since she remains on no eating duty, will still only eat jars (and scrambled egg). For some reason I thought I didnt have time to make baby food for L

How are all the preggers ladies?I am really My AF was late this month and I got quietly excited and evenj started thinking how I would tell DH, but then it arrived Good Luck largegandt for this month then..

Is anyone who bottle feeds still sterilising since the babies are now eating solids, as I still am but Im getting a bit sick of it, do I need to carry on?Think I did it for a year with L but all my friends stopped way befire that..

Lol at SOH and the pig..

DH is out ordering my new kitchen at magnet tonight..very exciting as when thats done its out with the shag pile, Hurrah!Though not sure how we will afford to eat for the next few months whilst we pay for it, we too are skint with a big S!
