ds has this cup, this cup and this but this has a straw all the way down to the bottom and he tips it up like a sippy cup so doesn't get anything out of it. Might keep an eye out for one of these or these cos they're tip up ones.

FlameNFurter · 30/12/2007 20:11

Preferably anything with a lid - he likes the pouring sound otherwise

Milk needs to be a bottle.

He tried to latch on to me the other night I went in to sort DD in the night, and saw he was upside down hanging out of bed - I leaned in to turn him and naked nipple must have knocked him... he turned his head with open mouth going for it . It has been nearly 12 months now but the reflex must still be there

CantSleighWontSleigh · 30/12/2007 20:20

and flame!

mustmakeyouamanmore · 30/12/2007 20:54

Im going on a trip on Thursday with ds1..... nooked train just now.....its somewhere potentially very exciting.....

FlameNFurter · 30/12/2007 21:11

Tis good to hear it is only potentially exciting. Don't wanna get yourself hyped up or anything

Sleep DS SLEEP!

mustmakeyouamanmore · 30/12/2007 21:29

I dont gt excited til the actual event, you should know that by now!

DontDreamItBeIt · 30/12/2007 21:48

nooked train. Have fun on Thursday.

DS drinks from tesco spout cup or any straw. Open cup when he's sitting down if I'm feeling brave (also likes o pour)

Macwitch · 30/12/2007 21:52

Hi ladies. Just ducking in to wish you all a Happy New Year. It's ds's birthday tomorrow so we shall be enjoying the day at soft play and swimming, tire them out so it's early to bed so I can get cooking for a nice evening in watching the Bourne Ultimatum. Have fun x

CantSleighWontSleigh · 30/12/2007 22:02

Please get rid of your halloween name!!!!!

Happy birthday to your ds1.

Take it you're going to flame's?

DontDreamItBeIt · 30/12/2007 22:16

Maybe she's going to stay a wich forever
Happy birhday to your ds Macca.

FlameNFurter · 30/12/2007 23:03

Not if she can't be arsed she isn't

DS is still awake up there

He can cry and play all he wants now. I quit.

DontDreamItBeIt · 30/12/2007 23:12

Keeping ds awake all day has finally started to have the desired effect. He is going to sleep at a more deent time again. The only time he has slept in the day this week has been in the car when we can't keep him awake.

I'm going to miss the quiet time during the day when he used to sleep once the dds are back at school I think.

FlameNFurter · 30/12/2007 23:15

DS has been like this the past few nights, with or without naps.

Going to attempt settling now

EachPeachPearMum · 31/12/2007 01:02

LOL at food ishoos- dd is just asking for 'Pies. Mince Pies' ALL the time! I don't give in though!
She sleeps loads compared to all yours though ...once she gets to sleep.
She got up at 11am saturday but it did throw her out all day...
Has a nap everyday generally, sleeps 13 hours at night. Don't know what we'll do when she drops that nap!

FlameNFurter · 31/12/2007 07:58

Want. to. sleep.

Need. to. sleep.

mustmakeyouamanmore · 31/12/2007 08:09

Well, ds1 diiddnt go to sleep till 10pm, even with 2 of us trying to settle him So the big night for us two was gone. It was because he didnt get up till 7.30am that morning.
On the plus side..... ds2 only woke once, I managed to resettle him, so no boys in our bed all night

The friends that we're supposed to spend New Year with have the squits (well, one does, so waiting to hear a verdict today). So we may well just be home. Which I dont mind at all really. Get the boys to bed and crack open my csws baileys

Dh took a full binbag to the charity shop for me yesterday, but it was closed, so he just left it outside there Muppet.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 31/12/2007 08:50

Well dh went up at 8:45 last night to try and settle dd in bed (I'd been trying for 45 mins by then), and an hour later I went up to find him fast asleep and snoring on her bedroom floor!

She then woke when we were going up to bed, and jumped up as soon as she woke at 6am . Dh lay on the floor with her again, and she resettled for another 40 mins. Please tell me that this novelty will wear off soon?!

Yay for no boys in your bed last night mrm. Been a long while since that's happened!

We're not doing anything for new year either. Will just be a normal night in the csws household.

(Am pointedly ignoring EPPM's post about how much sleep her dd gets!)

mustmakeyouamanmore · 31/12/2007 09:41

It will wear off, might just take a while!

Trying to decide what to do this morning.

Just spoke to my Dad , who hadnt replied to the last 6 texts I sent him. But he's still alive and talking to me! Did I mention I got ds2 some clothes in the slaes, for Dad to give him for his birthday?

DS2's new favourite word is 'mine'

FlameNFurter · 31/12/2007 10:04

I can't do this anymore. I need sleep.

DS keeps annoying DDm she keeps "telling" in a horrible voice, I want to lock them in the car and go sleep.

My mum can't have them, I don't have anyone else I can ask.

mustmakeyouamanmore · 31/12/2007 10:23

Cant you wait till tursday to have a crisis? Then I can help out.

FlameNFurter · 31/12/2007 10:46

I want to enjoy you - not melt on you!

mustmakeyouamanmore · 31/12/2007 10:53

I dont mind either way

Er, ds1 is certain he's bringing his swim shorts and armbands for the sea And he's worried he'll get hungry on the tube (told him we'll have food at thestation or on thetrain, as we'll be up so early!)

FlameNFurter · 31/12/2007 11:01

He can go in there by himself - I ain't

mustmakeyouamanmore · 31/12/2007 11:05

Thats what I said! Then he decided that it'd be ok if it was bad weather, as rain will make his sand castles stivk together better

Phoenix · 31/12/2007 18:22

EPPM - Hope your dd is better with the fireworks tonight. Some idiots are letting loads off round here already and ds does seem better than bonfire week night. I turned the tv up just incase he got scared but he heard them and laughed

So is everyone off out tonight? We're not dh is working til 7 then back on at 7 in the morning so he'll be in bed about 10. I might stay up to see the new year in with the dog
