I hope the house looks good inside.

mustmakeyouamanmore · 15/01/2008 22:30

That was my iniital thought Flame

Bloody sodding PTA meeting.... 7.45 till 10pm

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/01/2008 22:44

Go on, tell us what was discussed. I could do with something to send me to sleep.

Frizbe · 15/01/2008 22:45

Oooh Flame can you take camera, we want pics

EPPM I think some of meridians stuff on her blog were presents, then she's decided to flog the rest to feed her growing habit small acorns eh!

CSWS I watched Masterchef too I reckon the right guy went through tonight, do you?

Jas, how's the house?

MRM how did you get those kids to bed and asleep together?

Waves at Phoenix and anyone else whose around.

Dh reckons dd1 climbed into bed with us last night, I reckon he's loosing the plot, he was either dreaming, or she was astrally projecting, she has no recollection of being in our bed, and I really do think I would have noticed her he says he put her back to bed???? hell I noticed dd2 climbing over me at 5.30am
Did hula aerobics again tonight, and had to book onto next weeks class immediately afterwards, as this weeks was full, and we get 1st dibs on next week
Seems the new place is very busy. BBsitting tomorrow night, so unsure if I'll have net access or not? still I'm sure I'll catch up during the day at some point!

mustmakeyouamanmore · 15/01/2008 23:25

Plus side of such a long meting is that ther kids were in eb whn I got home! poor friend babysitting! I left 7.15 with ds2 in tears, got in 10.30.
Trust me csws, you dont want to know ! ull dull. Spent alot of the time trying to not be volunteered for things!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/01/2008 02:54

Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh!

Phoenix · 16/01/2008 09:56

Oh dear csws, bad night?

Flame - House sounds fab, fingers crossed for you

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 11:15

I think I may get odd looks if I take photos!

EachPeachPearMum · 16/01/2008 13:07

Nah- its what camera phones were invented for!
How else can you work out what furniture goes where, or remember how many kitchen cupboards there were?

csws

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/01/2008 15:21

Bugger. Was going with the no nap approach today, but she has dozed off on my lap, boob in mouth, 10 mins before friend is due to arrive, and it looks like playhouse man has nearly finished fixing leak, so will need me in a mo too - aarrrrggghhh again!

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 16:08

Argh indeed!

Anyone know random causes of cramping? Really aggressive egg releasing? If it was pregnancy I would be a whole 2 weeks pregnant, 5 days since conception, and broken through the coil so me thinks no!

It hurts lots Feel like I'm due on, but def not.

Frizbe · 16/01/2008 19:43

ooh no flame doesn't sound good if continues go to dr's defo. BTW dd2 was swimming earlier, I was just walking up and down pool with her in tow then dd1 had lesson later too They're great when they get to 4 aren't they, dd1 suddenly seems to have made loads (2)of mates, they're all coming out the pool, splashing and chatting amongst themselves, latest game is 3 girls standing under 1 shower, washing their hair together and this is dd1 who hates showers and hair washing!

CSWS did she wake up when you moved her?

Am bbsitting at the mo, enjoying the peace and quiet of a nice 4 year old boy who went to bed and straight to sleep left dh in the house with dd2 screaming the place down, as she's in bed....dd1 watching tv with dad....and now I appear to have a cat on my lap So Torchwood or Grand Designs

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 20:23

Tprchwood

House update here

Can I have a quick nursery rant? At christmas we had an issue of having missed a month's payment - I am convinced that I wrote the cheque, but that they lost it. I can't find the soddin cheque book though to prove that. Anyway, had to pay 2 months in one go.

Today, get Feb invoice, plus December which had a late fee on it! I have never even seen December before I am 100% sure of that because a) I hunted for it on a "did your nursery charge for xmas" thread, and b) it is about 1/2 the price as normal (or was before the £15 late fee) and I would have been bouncing at Boy about it.

Fairly pissed off tbh at being charged a late fee for an invoice I never had but can't prove.

They have changed the system now though so you collect the invoice yourself rather than someone handing it to you. I'm setting up a direct debit too

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/01/2008 20:24

lol at the very idea that I would move her Friz. I have NEVER been able to move her without waking her, so I don't even try now. Playhouse man wasn't finished after all, and friends were late, but I woke dd after 35 mins, as I wanted to get my bra back on (not in a nursing one today) and make tea for playhouse man before they arrived.

Hope the house visit is going well tonight. Tell us all about it when you get back.

No idea re the pains really - I've never felt ovulation at all. Am picturing 'aggressive egg releasing' as a line of eggs pushing and shoving and the ones at the rear shouting at and shouldering the front one though!

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 20:26

here even

You swimming sounded soo much better Friz

Ache is still there but has eased. No response whatsoever on my thread

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/01/2008 22:36

Right, where is everyone, seriously?

Why isn't Phoenix posting every day like normal?
What has happened to Chloe?
Where is Jas tonight?
And mustrunmore?
And is macca ever coming back properly?
Or Kel?

I'm off to bed then. Need to build in time for dd to wake when I go upstairs .

Phoenix · 16/01/2008 22:40

I posted this morning i'll have you know

mustmakeyouamanmore · 16/01/2008 23:12

I'm aroundish. Just watched 2 films, becuase a friend wanted some to fit specific criteria, so I haD TO PROOF-WATCH THEM! Borrowed from dl.

Am also feeling very sad; in one of those 'I want to be loved and have a romantic and exciting life' moods. And its not down to the films; not that kind at all. You know when someone you're close to has stuff happening in their lives, and it makes you go all peculiar?

EachPeachPearMum · 16/01/2008 23:29

am watching dvd, sorry.
What happened to UniS too?

And what are cheeseballs?

FlameNFurter · 17/01/2008 08:45

I was watching Torchwood then went to bed with strong pills. Much less hurty today, but very very tired.

MRM

Phoenix · 17/01/2008 09:42

for the house Flame.

mrm

It's a crappy rainy day again today and its my day off work and i don't feel like going out in the rain but i'll have to at some point cos we need milk.

Right can anyone help me choose one of these trikes please? this from JJB, this from Woolworths or this from Toys r Us.

FlameNFurter · 17/01/2008 09:52

I like the look of the toys r us one I think. Can't tell you why though because i have no idea

mustrunmore · 17/01/2008 10:12

I'd say Toys R Us looks sturdier, but that may just be the picture. Def more grown up colours etc.
I wouldnt go for woolies; not good quality as a rule, and its a nightmare if you want it ordered and sent to store etc.
If you ask me, you really need to feel them all before you decide. The wheels are very important, as some of them make a right racket if they go along bumpy paths!

Ds1 had/has got the mothercare one. It was £40, and not really any diffrent to others elsewhere. But it is very very handy to have the bag on the handle for nappies and snacks, so you dont have to take a shouldre bag out too

In fact, must get it back from our noieghbour. I'm thinknig of trialling the nursery run with him on his scooter and ds2 on that u

mustrunmore · 17/01/2008 10:16

Ds2 is responsible for that random 'u'!!!
