OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Phoenix · 18/01/2008 21:07

I don't know much about it but even i know that's a load of crap csws.

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 21:10

Ds has always had poppered vests but they stop doing them after age 2-3 (i think) what the hell are we meant to do when they go to next size? Ds will do exactly the same as your ds2 mrm i think.

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/01/2008 21:11

Err, potty train them Phoenix .

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 21:21

He won't go without his bloody nappy though now. As soon as i take one off he wants another on . He's had a wee on his potty once but now he's decided he doesn't like nappy free time, strange child

mustrunmore · 18/01/2008 21:27

ds2 can get out of poppered vests.

FlameNFurter · 18/01/2008 21:32

pmsl @ the idea of growing out of age 2-3 vests

side poppering wraps over the nappy? I can post you a couple if you would like to try it.

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 21:35

Flame, what size is he in?

FlameNFurter · 18/01/2008 21:38

12-18 months... and they are very roomy!!! 9-12 aren't completely small, but I only have one of those.

Irritating thing is that I bought a load of cut 4 cloth vests before he started his nappy reacting so now they just look freakily big round the bum

EachPeachPearMum · 18/01/2008 22:26

I think dd has a long back- we switched to non-poppered vests about 4 months ago.

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 22:45

I've just been looking at the dc's birthdays and realised we missed the first one on 6th Jan

EachPeachPearMum · 18/01/2008 22:57

but in all fairness, this is the feb thread!

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 23:14

Yes EPPM but he was an early Feb baby, he was due 28th Jan but near enough Feb. My due date was 31st Jan.

EachPeachPearMum · 18/01/2008 23:41

mine was 30th- she had other ideas though

Phoenix · 18/01/2008 23:45

so did ds.

EachPeachPearMum · 18/01/2008 23:55

Are any of them ever born on their due date?

Phoenix · 19/01/2008 00:07

Out of all the Feb babies 3 were born on their due date. Flame didn't realise ds was on his due date after all your moaning

Phoenix · 19/01/2008 00:09

I really should go to bed i've got work in the morning at 8.20 goodnight xx

EachPeachPearMum · 19/01/2008 00:14

night night!

Frizbe · 19/01/2008 09:08

Flame, I swear I did do the space then ]] bah! thanks for the nice bath idea though EPPM, I'm going to do that tonight That time of the month, am a grot bag Couldn't even drag self to gym last night read 3 magazines and half watched Gordon R instead.

Whispers very quietly dd2 slept in till 7am and she passed out at 8pm....tiptoes away quietly.......

MRM for the carpet poo, really hoping we don't have too much of that mind you I think our carpet is drowning in orange juice, dd2 has dropped 3 cups in as many days for the effect I think If I ever get a new carpet, its drinks in the kitchen only.

Happy Birthday to Cameron belatedly then

Jas how's the house going?

So what you all upto today then?
I tried yesterday (rather late) to get last min tickets to panto, as finally got someone to bbsit dd2, but they only had the Gods, and dd1 would have freaked up there, so not bothering now for dd1....next year I'll take them both, then it won't be a problem. Shout if you see Dora touring, as have promised that instead. So instead I'm here in shop this morning, then home this avo via shops n park if stays fine?? then tomorrow visiting mum and dad before they go away for 2 weeks.

mustrunmore · 19/01/2008 11:37

Well, we're off to get stabilizers that work for ds1's bike! Iyts pissing down though, so I'm not in a hurryto get out. Then we'll all be wet in the aprk trying to tire them out, so we can have an evenig to ourselves. I've done 5km this morn, but might try and slip nother 3 in while they're having tea tonight! I've got a seriuosly sore thraot approaching thoufgh

FlameNFurter · 19/01/2008 11:44

I didn't whinge much

Enjoy stabiliser shopping MRM

I have to go shopping with DC.. DD doesn't want to come I see a fun trip ahead.

Happy Belated Birthday Cameron!

Teuch · 19/01/2008 14:00

Hullo ladies - sorry for going awol again .

I keep coming on to post but by the time I read all the posts (gawd you ladies can chat!!) I have to go and save DS from some life-threatening situation or mischief!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes - hard to believe he is 2!! Had a blast but our house is now chocca with noisy plastic in primary colours

Right - am off to read the thread properly!!

FlameNFurter · 19/01/2008 17:49

Argh! Bloody baby has broken the tv... it now has the option to be off or off

Frizbe · 19/01/2008 18:54

for you Flame, did he chuck it off something like dd2 did here?
I take it the shops weren't too bad?

MRM did it stop raining? its spotted here a bit, but we're just above the rain line today....tomorrow apparently we're piss wet through. We did the park for an hour, had lunch at local cafe (just down from shop) then the dd's and I dropped ss at the shop (and dh's lunch) and popped to coop via knitting shop next door, where I got another lurid pink ball of wool to knit another dolls blanket, this time for dd2 as they're fighting over the one I made for dd1's doll

I also had a fab find this afternoon, dragged the girls to a fabric shop in a nearby village, primarily to get felt and ribbon for valentines window display, when I discovered they have fabric swatches for chairs Now have a really nice fabric pattern in two different golds in mind for the chairs (contempory flower thing), just have to check the guy who I have lined up to do the chairs doesn't mind using my fabric instead of his

mustrunmore · 19/01/2008 19:07

Welll, the boys got back from the park totally saturated! We were the only people there... very strange , that Th rain didi dtop a bit, but the puddles were huge, and cunningly placed at he bottom of every slide.
They both biked there and bsck though, so am hoping for a better bedtime tonight!
