Aww, she's just wanting to get a job in the circus

(Who is Meridian?)

6-8 weeks to go on contract I think - it will probably not happen though, he's now home and the piece of paper says available from 10th Jan, so they won't be keen on waiting for us to move, and we can't afford a big rent overlap. Have left a message though so we'll see. If it is meant to be, then it is meant to be and we will find a way.

FlameNFurter · 14/01/2008 17:14

Oh, do a space, and then write what you want the link to say before doing the final ]] and you will get it to look pretty

Like the difference between www.bumfluffnappies.com and this

Frizbe · 14/01/2008 17:16

Oh fingers so x'd for you Flame

Circus eh

Meridian is my mumsnetting mate from down the road helps me out a lot! (my psycho!)

Frizbe · 14/01/2008 17:18

"meridians jewellery "

Frizbe · 14/01/2008 17:19

yay thanks Flame!

FlameNFurter · 14/01/2008 17:19
Grin
mustmakeyouamanmore · 14/01/2008 18:36

Crossing fingers too here Falme; that'd be great! How much rent overlap weouldit be?

FlameNFurter · 14/01/2008 19:16

£685

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/01/2008 19:33

Crossig fingers it is the righ one for you, and you can get it (somehow)

EachPeachPearMum · 14/01/2008 19:53

followed by for all the death-defying babies!

Friz- I saw those on her blog, but hadn't realised they were for sale, I assumed they were gifts, very nice. Too much nice stuff on etsy actually, don't dare look there...

Flame- 60 less per month and 2 extra rooms is ace! Is the area ok? If its closer to dh's work could make life easier- think popping home for lunch, no commutes etc. BTW I think I only just realised Flameboy isn't actually your son.... If they haven't let it already, they may be happy to wait for someone who wants somewhere longterm like yourselves.

csws- I'm assuming muffinmclay the mner not the dog! think dd would prefer the dog actually...

FlameNFurter · 14/01/2008 19:55

Ah, see this is where it gets confusing... Flameboy is DS.... Boy is DH I have called him Boy for years, and haven't been able to shake the habit since DS was born.

Tis very similar location etc, so not much difference with work.

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/01/2008 20:38

DS is Boy too, bu only because he was nameless boy for so long

Letting him sleep on the sofa earlier was a bad idea. He is wide awake now.

mustmakeyouamanmore · 14/01/2008 22:53

2 boys asleep by 7.45pm

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/01/2008 22:59

As it's you, I'll let you off. You deserve a kid free night
Here's hoping they stay in their own beds, too.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/01/2008 23:13

I had 25 mins of screaming at door gate, nearly 2 hours of sleep, then some more screaming and a cuddle.

I did have some reflexology too though, which was very nice.

EachPeachPearMum · 15/01/2008 00:01

Wow- you have her trained so well- reflexology already!

FlameNFurter · 15/01/2008 07:50
EachPeachPearMum · 15/01/2008 12:48

We had strange antics last night- dd woke screaming 3 times, but was absolutely fine once I went into her she went back to sleep each time no problem... took me a little longer. First one was 40 mins after I'd fallen asleep Gah!

FlameNFurter · 15/01/2008 13:10

Argh! What's with these bloody babies??

So far so good with house - tis still available, and is a long term let for as long as we want. Seeing it tomorrow.

believe

Now just trying to work out get rich quick schemes

EachPeachPearMum · 15/01/2008 13:18

Hope its lovely Flame! Presumably even if you say you want it, it will take a few weeks to sort out paperwork etc...so that may mean less cross-over money to find?
Though moving house is expensive, even if you do it yourself... sorting out final bills etc.

FlameNFurter · 15/01/2008 13:24

I hadn't even thought of final bills we will owe the nice electric people About to call them now to change our DD.

It is weird - I love this place, couldn't see me wanting to move, but then Boy called and said about the one he had seen advertised and it has felt right.

If it is meant to be, then the money will arrive somehow

DontDreamItBeIt · 15/01/2008 13:30

Don't wory abou bills,if i works, then bill paying will be ok oo

I go my winter power bill this week and discovered I had paid the last one twice It means this bill is much less than I was expecting though

DP also got a letter from his employers up o September telling him they have just found out they shouldn't have deducted tax from his wages and does he want it back? Let me think........shall we let them get the interest on it between now and next year, or have it ourselves? Such adifficult decision. Only problem is I seem to have lost one of the letters he needs to prove it is his money

DontDreamItBeIt · 15/01/2008 13:57

mrm - if dh mentions childminding, direct him here Both my friends who were p/t childminders have given up now as all the paperwork and regulations and required courses were just too much.

FlameNFurter · 15/01/2008 21:58

How can you pay twice and not notice??? Are you Tabs??

Where is everybody?

I drove past the house - it looks huge. This feels so right

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/01/2008 22:05

'ello. I'm here.
DD asleep by 7:50 (no nap today as with cm this afternoon), but I was busy chatting to dh then sorting toys (a neverending task it seems ), and then watching Masterchef, which actually requires concentration.

That's 2 good bits of news re money Jas, but remember they always come in threes, so buy yourself a lottery ticket tomorrow!
