Tis the Sunday I am talking about coming now (setting off at stupid o clock though). i don't know what the plan is for coming home tbh It is my sister's 30th on 24th, so she announced she was spending it in London with her friends (fine by me), but coming home the weekend before to do DS and her home birthday (less fine by me... I have plans with you that were made before she made her announcements).

I think I will talk to my mum and see what she says!!!

paulayatesbiggestfan · 10/01/2008 21:48

hello everyone and JAS thankyou so so much for coming to the july thread! I know i am probably crazy but in for a penny and all that

Hope you are all well. My february baby has morphed from dream to demon- very bright but very lazy with speech etc
he drives me nuts - a very busy - into everything tpe person!
Tell me it is his age ! Am looking into some day care - only one day a week just to calm him and maybe focus his wildness!

Phoenix · 10/01/2008 21:53

It must be a Feb 06 boys thing to be lazy with speech quite a few are (mine included)

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 22:30

In to everything here too NAO. Congratulations and to you. Go for it with the childcare - I send dd to CM one afternoon a week to give me a bit of a break, and I only have one to deal with!

Would appreciate suggestions here ladies.

EachPeachPearMum · 10/01/2008 23:12

csws- are you sure its you who needs that advice?

am replying to your email...

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 07:57

Filling 2 days for me sounds good

Well csws, cutting out as muh as poss. So, all the main stuff, and as much ingredient stuff as poss, without getting all shirty and arsey about it because its not an allergy or a principle!

Of course you should claim your funding. Nutter. If Mrcsws isnt bothered anyway, you can buy us all gifts with the money you've saved

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2008 13:57

Is your birthday today EPPM? Happy Birthday if so!

(Oops - typed this message 3.5hrs ago, but appears I didn't post it ).

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2008 14:16

How did the visit go?

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2008 14:34

Ok-ish. Will update other thread in a mo.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2008 15:44

Phoenix- really sorry about DH- bad enough normally, but after 20 years, cannot imagine. Having the knowledge about it now won't make it any easier either, as if he goes somewhere else he won't get that redundancy- or maybe thats what the company was hoping, that people leap before they're pushed?

was really interested that you are in similar lines of work though

FlameNFurter · 11/01/2008 20:40

Does everyone find life a constant struggle or am I broken? (pondering ADs)

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2008 21:07

Life is hard, but not a constant struggle in the way that you seem to be finding it. Can't hurt to talk to GP about ADs.

Dd is still up. Tried to put her to bed but hysterics weren't abating. I'm watching Corrie whilst she empties her entire toy box .

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 21:08

Flame, me and you need a chat. Dont start on Ad's needlessly.
Life is a git alot of the time, yes. But sometimes its the oddest thing that lets a bit of light in
Sometimes it all just builds up, but each individual thing isnt that bad on it own. Just the odd thing once in a while, which makes you feel like everything else is irrepairable too.You just cant see the wood for the trees.
Personally, i'm like a child; I thrive on routine. But then every now and again I get itchy feet and sick of the routine, have a bit of a tizzy and a rant of various time spans, then realise routine is the better and asfest option. I like excitement as long as I have a safety net.
I also like to be in control, but thats why I also like someone who challenges my boundaries!
i often pine to be a free person again, with money and no need to get home at a certain time. Last time I felt like that was when I was in London with a friend and met 2 new people, in areas I've hardly been to since having kids, and I felt a bit more real. And also a bit self conscious, because I've forgotten how to be real.
Maybe you need a change of scene. Maybe you need to think about yourself rather than taking on other people's worries too much. Meybe you need to write lists ogf things to solve. Maybe yuo need a very good listening ear, that can rationalise what you're saying if you want her to.

Hope thats not all crap

If you were here, I'd make you come runnnig. Nothing like a bit of breeze in your ears and endorphins flowing!

FlameNFurter · 11/01/2008 21:09

Goign for a bath, but that made me cyr in a way MRM.

I am pondering everything - talking to psycho too.

I'll do a whole essay in a bit (possibly not on boards)

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2008 21:11

Jeez - the thought of having to go running is enough to make the poor girl turn to ADs .

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 21:11

Glad I made you cyr
I'm just going in the bath too, spooky bird!

email me. I wish I liked the phone

FlameNFurter · 11/01/2008 21:12

Oi, I missed that - you sayin I got flappy ears??

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 21:12

Bugger off you! You know, ever since xmas, I've been wishing I had asked mrcsws to get the x trainer out for me on xmas day What a wasted opportunity!

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 21:14

Nah, I'm sayimg I react to high winds like dogs do, and you prob would too. Come and sit on a big hill with me in the wind and rain, with a flask of tea, and lets talk till you're sorted.

Frizbe · 11/01/2008 21:14

EPPM Happy Birthday

CSWS you lost me at the cannot pretend to be a fairy bit I'm afraid, I'm quite often happy playing a farie so anywhere that may stifle fantasy creativity I'd find odd. Particularly as roleplay is part and parcel of growing up and life (although I can see the point of not doing pretend things, I cannot agree with it)

Flame {{{{hugs}}}}} hon, you wanna talk to us about it now???? expand????

FlameNFurter · 11/01/2008 21:15

Ooooooooooh that sounds good. Can we run away for a weekend in a cottage in the middle of Dartmoor?

Frizbe · 11/01/2008 21:16

see whilst I was typing that you did and MRM put that so fantastically, well done MRM

Frizbe · 11/01/2008 21:27

So found dd2 in dd1's bed at 5am today, dd1 yells 'mum I need the loo' I say go, she say's I can't get out of bed, I say ?, go and investigate, dd1 is whammed against the wall, blocked in by dd2 who is spread eagled sound asleep taking up the rest of the bed......she must have crept in there after she woke at 2am, I put her back in her bed and she seemed to go quiet....now I know it was cause she'd found somewhere else to sleep......

mustmakeyouamanmore · 11/01/2008 21:29

am I forgiven my typing for being so eloquent?!

Dartmoor isnt really half way between us you know! But it sounds good to me!

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2008 21:43

Dd still up.
