You tell me that after I've said I'd already read mine!

Isn't Flame meeting up with Hunker on the 18th?

Could we persuade everyone to come to PWP on the 18th. It would be a good day out, and not too expensive if we used Tesco vouchers?

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/01/2008 17:00

You (mrm) could get the train to Broxbourne and csws otr I could pick you up. I'd even get a proper car sea for ds1

mustmakeyouamanmore · 10/01/2008 17:55

Could do. I think thats fromLiverpool St , isnt it? Bit aof a huge trek, but oh well!

Er, so ds2 doesnt get a proper seat?

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 18:55

Um, I'm not sure it's fair to expect Hunker to do a big day out with all of us, when she is expecting a simple affair with just me and flame. If we ask her then she might feel obliged, and I'd feel bad about that. I will drop her a note and check that she's still up for meeting on that date though, so that we don't avoid it unnecessarily.

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/01/2008 19:11

I don't mind, but it is the only day my holiday overlaps wih Flame and mrm apart from weekend, which are no good for me.

Maybe I could come somewhere closer to you mrm, if the others don't want us, and do pwp with csws during the week before?

FlameNFurter · 10/01/2008 19:43

I don't remember why Hunker was the Monday - maybe she could do the Tuesday?

Mum says from the throwing experience (not been talking about it, just a past memory) - do not throw chip pan sieve thingy - you get grease all up the wall and it bends out of shape

Frizbe · 10/01/2008 20:12

Hello!

MRM yay for aerobics and veg box! I'm going to miss next wed, as I'm doing return babysitting, which is a shame as my stomach muscles were holding themselves in a bit for roughly two hours this am

dd1 singing to herself in bed
Dh on his way home from work
dd2 currently asleep, how long it will last for??? she was up half the night again last night

Phoenix · 10/01/2008 20:20

Hi everyone

Congrats NOA if you're lurking

for free stuff mrm and babysitting friend.

Dh's boss rang him this morning with possible bad news about the company they work for. The story is here from local news website. He's thinking about taking redundancy if its offered but as he works for security not the warehouse it (hopefully) might not affect him cos like i've said as long as theres a building they need security staff.

FlameNFurter · 10/01/2008 20:26

Missed the veg box bit

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 20:38

Hunker works on Tuesdays.

On phone, back later.

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/01/2008 20:40

Yay fro lots of free stuff too mrm,
and glad that dl is a least trying.

Will check your link in a mo Phoenix

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/01/2008 20:42

Oooh. Sounds a bit worryng Phoenix. I guess he just has to wait and see how it affec him.

Frizbe · 10/01/2008 20:47

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/2411/453999 Phoenix/Chloe you needed here!

Will check your link now, then off to pay dh attention, as he's in York all weekend....I'll be on here then!

Phoenix · 10/01/2008 20:49

He's talking about taking redundancy and getting a job at Asda. He's worked there 20 years. He went there straight from school in the warehouse then went to security about 8 year ago. He thinks he'll get around £10,000+ redundancy but he's not sure.

Frizbe · 10/01/2008 20:49

eeek Phoenix......There's a big Asda distribution near wakefield isn't there, maybe he should start applying? UPS are at Dewsbury, he could think about applying there (although for security would be a mobile countrywide job I think or certainly an area one.....)

Frizbe · 10/01/2008 20:50

at X posts!! Asda it is then!!

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/01/2008 20:59

If he's been there 20 yrs he should get a decent redundancy payment. If he can get another jo, you cold end up better off. Get those Asda forms

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 21:02

flame - you have More 4 don't you? Apparently a new series of ER starts tonight at 10pm.

I guess your dh won't find out what will happen for a while will he Phoenix? Presumably he'd have to stay for the year even if he does get offered redundancy?

Which neighbour gave you the veggie box mrm? The one next door with the boys? How was aerobics?

Phoenix · 10/01/2008 21:13

I don't know csws, i don't think anyone does yet it's only been announced today and apart from him speaking briefly to his boss he hasn't been at work so doesn't know much.

mustmakeyouamanmore · 10/01/2008 21:18

Yes, that neighbour. As opposed to neighbour from hell on the other side Ds2 ate his 3 big broc florets at teatime, then ate ds1's aswell!

Aerobics was a killer. I cant work out if I'm getting worse or if she's making it harder. Really. Last time, I could hardly climb over the starigte next day. I need more stamina.
BTW, I'm cutting out ALL dairy again, as a permenaet measure (it kind of petered out last time when I found less time to run over the nightmare-bedtime-summer), as thats one of the only things that helps weight loss for me, coupled with lots of running.

I say me and Jas arrange to do something on 18th, then whoever wants to join in can do. So it might just be us At least thats a day filled with a decision made! So, that might be a party for 2 babies and 3 kids then... Plus if I dont let ds1 see the girls soon, he's going to explode.

FlameNFurter · 10/01/2008 21:26

But I need to see you too

for job Phoenix

mustmakeyouamanmore · 10/01/2008 21:30

She loves me!!
Isnt there one of the other days you can see me? Remind me? Are you only here Sun till... when?

FlameNFurter · 10/01/2008 21:32

Going home either lateish in the day Tuesday or Weds depending on my sister and how long CSWS wants me

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 21:34

There's nothing to stop us visiting mrm on the Sunday or Tuesday though is there flame? That way she'll have 2 days filled! If you do change to come on the Sunday instead of Saturday, will you stay a day later too?

Even dairy as a minor ingredient in stuff mrm, or just all dairy as a main thing (ie chocolate, milk, cheese type stuff)?

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 21:35

Great cross post! Stay til Wedns. Then I can still send dd to CM on Tues, and we can visit mrm on Wedns.
