Thought it was about time we had a thread which didn't take hours to load though....

Well caught up with Wills on the other thread and feel so very bad for her. Sending you all my love Wills.

I guess everyone is feeling quite low judging by the lack of postings here but we can't let the thread sink. So just thought I'd tell everyone that DD2 has just got her first pair of wellies. They are a size 4 and her shoes are size 1 so she has to waddle and I put lots of socks on her. but she absolutely loves them. So this morning we are going to go and find some puddles (not that difficult round here at the mo but they have to be shallow enough

I'm not trying to be frivolous but I think we all need a bit of a smile. Hugs all round

Wills -- sorry to hear about dh medication.

KMS -- missed this in time for dd's birthday! how did it go?
How are you and bump doing? wont be long now!! every twinge i get, i think "is this it??"

tortoiseshell -- hi!! glad dd had a great b'day. she sounds wonderful and very bright, brag away.

KMS · 07/08/2005 19:30

DD's birthday went ok, but the little tea party I had arranged at the last minute didn't happen as her 3 antenatal friends decided they couldn't come at the last minute! 1 because her DD would be having her nap, 1 because she was pottering in the garden and the other was rushing round town to get things done before she came and the other two said not to bother!! I was a little emotional to say the least!! Felt like the worse mother in the world. Anyway we ended up going out for lunch which was good but paid the price with my pelvis later!!

Today is my EDD!! so late again as predicted. DH has hired a wheelchair for me so we have had a couple of trips out in the lovely sunny weather.

M/w came in wed and agreed that although I sholud be in hospital for bed rest they would probably just induce me which I want to avoid. So will stay home as long as poss.

Good luck to you Champs, with your delivery and look forward to hearing the news.

Hope everyone else has great birthdays for their little ones.

Wills · 08/08/2005 21:39

Oh KMS that's awful honey. How are you feeling now?

Thinking about you all the time - can't wait to hear good news

Wills XXXXX

champs · 09/08/2005 15:26

how horrible KMS!! sorry you didn't have the tea party. but looking on the positive side (easy with hindsight i know) you may have overdone things and felt worse.
I myself would have been emotional too.
Hope baby comes soon for you and your spd can begin to heal.

ds2 was 2 yesturday!! I wasn't up to a party as such and just went to see my mum, but in eve a few fam members passed by and it was really nice to see them.

In the middle of washing out some baby bits for baba's arrival and have been searching for my vanity case!!

Hi wills!!

Wills · 11/08/2005 21:26

Hi Champs - blooming jealous

champs · 12/08/2005 14:21

Wills · 16/08/2005 07:24

Yes - (whispering now). Am very disappointed that period has just started!

Wills · 16/08/2005 07:27

Was dd2's birthday over the weekend. Had a party for her on Sunday to which more adults came than children . KMS - I know its a disappointment when things don't go ahead etc but can I just say that I'm still clearing up after the party! I always go to town on such things and wonder whether I've truly enjoyed it afterwards ! Anyway, took the girls, dh, and my youngest brother (20 yrs) who we all adore to Woburn Abbey yesterday and we all had a completely fantastic time.

champs · 16/08/2005 20:45

aww wills, are you actively trying or leaving it to chance but hoping? happy belated b'day to your dd.

tortoiseshell · 17/08/2005 11:32

Tortoiseshell. Well we're going for it.

Katherine · 25/08/2005 12:23

Hello everyone. DD2 birthday the other day so made me think I should pop in and say hello. Can't beleive everything that is going on. Everyone seems to be pg, new mum or trying. Am I the only one having to cross her legs from now on?

Can't beleive DD2 is now 2! She is so dinky and attracts loads of attention when out but she is a little monster really. Gorgeous but such hard work compared to the other two. Fortunatly they like looking after her now so gives me a bit of a break. Now that she is out of her huge cloth nappies her clothes don't stay on any more. Had to buy some 6-9mth skirts the other day and she still gets a builders bum! She is so bright and active though and SOOOOOOO independent.

We were away camping for her birthday but met up with some family for a birthday tea. She got a trike for her birthday as DS got a new bike for his birthday the week before so she was a bit jealous. She loves it though and can almost reach the pedals.

Sorry I've not been around for ages. I do look at the thread every now and then but I never seem to have anything to add any more and the pressure is on for me to work and get things done so never enough time.

Its lovely to read about you all again though. Congratulations KMS - and Tortoishell - good luck champs and hugs to wills.

Hi everyone. Feeling really really grim - I'm sure I didn't feel this sick with the other two, but I do remember that it lasted a long time (up to about 18 wks, and I'm only 6 and a half now....). Anyway, Wills, hope you get some good news soon! And hope the two litle babies are doing well KMS and Champs. Hello everyone else!
xxx

champs · 06/09/2005 14:21

wills -- did i read that right? you're going for it?? whoo hooooo hope to hear some good news from you soon.

hi Katherine!! so good to hear from you. lol@crossed legs. your dd sounds like my ds2, small but troublesome lol.

tortoiseshell -- baby doing well, guzzling milk lots. sorry you are having pg sickness, hopefully it will subside soon.

tortoiseshell · 09/09/2005 14:33

How's it going Wills? Hope you get some good news this month. Katherine, your dd sounds gorgeous. My dd is not petite - she is rapidly catching up her (more) petit brother who is 4! Somehow I don't think she's ever going to be a prima ballerina! Mud wrestler maybe....! Champs and KMS, glad things are going well with babies, how have your other children found having a new little one? Welcome back from holiday marina!

I'm feeling lots better, sickness is now confined to the evening, which is much better, though of course I now worry that I'm not feeling sick...! This early part is going really slowly - only 7 and a bit weeks, will be glad when get to 12! xxx

Wills · 20/09/2005 15:36

OK big breath. Very very scared. 5 + 2
