Thought it was about time we had a thread which didn't take hours to load though....

Well caught up with Wills on the other thread and feel so very bad for her. Sending you all my love Wills.

I guess everyone is feeling quite low judging by the lack of postings here but we can't let the thread sink. So just thought I'd tell everyone that DD2 has just got her first pair of wellies. They are a size 4 and her shoes are size 1 so she has to waddle and I put lots of socks on her. but she absolutely loves them. So this morning we are going to go and find some puddles (not that difficult round here at the mo but they have to be shallow enough

I'm not trying to be frivolous but I think we all need a bit of a smile. Hugs all round

hiya i've just seen more posts!!

Wills -- so glad to hear the good news, and also congrats on new job.

lovely to hear from you Marina and tortoiseshell.

kms wat a wonder girl dd is !! give her a big hug from me the clever little poppet!
I am feelling like i dont have the energy to potty train ds2 but think i'll have to tackle it soon as he keeps taking his winkle out the side of his nappy and so lots of wet puddles, clothes and sheets.

Wills · 07/12/2005 21:16

Hi ya. Had to tell someone - WE'VE EXCHANGED. Its been agony but finally we've exchanged contracts. Now I've just got to find somewhere to rent whilst we find another house.

ChampsOnIce · 08/12/2005 22:45

whoo hoo!! great news!

ChampsOnIce · 30/12/2005 16:04

a belated merry christmas to all of you!!

have a wonderful new year

KMS · 05/01/2006 18:22

Happy new year!!

Wills · 12/01/2006 11:55

Happy New year to all. Am still pregnant, am still neurotic about the pregnancy . But big bit of news.... Fingers crossed all goes well and if it does then ds1!

Other news is that my work knowing I'm pregnant have started to be bastards again (roll on maternity leave) and we're moving into rented accomodation next Wednesday.

Hope everyone else is well and that everyone enjoyed their Christmas. Ours was spent in Disneyland Paris and was totally wonderful although now I'm having to explain to dd1 that this unfortunately is NOT a yearly event.

champs · 14/01/2006 01:05

hi KMS!! how are your two augusteens?? is ds3 on solids yet? are you bfing? if so do you express??

wills -- fab news!! so glad you are still pg. have you got everything packed for moving? hope it all goes smoothly.

hi to all!!

Wills · 24/02/2006 12:57

Just thought I'd pop in and prevent this thread from falling off. How are you all? I'm now 27+5. Still have days where I panic but those are far less now. Can't wait for May though. We're hoping to exchange contracts on a house in Ramsgate later on today but otherwise fingers crossed for Monday. Both my girls are gorgeous. My dh has a checkup op next Tuesday so fingers crossed that is another all clear.

tortoiseshell · 24/02/2006 13:18

Hi Wills! Glad everything is going well, and fingers crossed for your dh! I'm nearly 32 weeks now, feel like the size of a house! Dd is lovely - I love this age - she's really into art and craft and although she has her moments, when she's on form she is a real joy to have around!

How's everyone else???

Wills · 24/02/2006 13:43

I agree with you about the age. Watching them attempt big girl anything is soooo cute. Mind you they're at their most stubborn at this point as well.

hi all, sorry it's been a while, I just don't get on here much anymore. Have to share computor with the rest of the family wanting time online or playing "jump ahead" cd-rom and even DD has been playing her "reader rabbit" disk on it today.

pleased all is going well with your pg's Wills and Tortoiseshell.
Fingers crossed for tuesday Wills.

Champs- Ds3 has just started solids last week. not overly impressed until today! he finally opened his mouth for each spoonful! Can't belive he is 6 1/2mths already! Yes still Bf, not expressing yet as have nowhere to go!!
DD is lovely. "no, I do it" seems to be her favorite phrase at the moment. She keeps all the boys in check too little miss bossy!

Wills · 26/02/2006 12:28

Good for her KMS. Glad to hear all is well. Just starting to vaguely think about such issues as breastfeeding. Hoping that I can do it but given the 10 months of bf thrush I went through with dd2 am not going to push it. This time round I know the thrush wont clear so would give up and resort to bottles far quicker - would be a big shame as its a wonderful thing to do.

champs · 10/03/2006 16:20

hi wills!!
how's things going? how's bump?

how did dh's appt go?

hope bf goes well with you, but as you say you will have prior knowledge this time.

tortoiseshell - hi!! how are you? how's pg going? not long now :)
hows dd?

kms!! hi!! ds3 is loving his din din's but like me is quite fussy Grin how's the kiddies?

tortoiseshell · 28/03/2006 15:53

Thought I'd just bump this thread up again - how is everyone? Wills - how are you getting on? I've only got 3 1/2 weeks or so to go till due date, so you must be similar - are you about 2 or 3 weeks behind? Hope everything's ok. I am relishing the weather not being 35-37 degrees like it was when our 2 year olds were all born - that really wasn't fun, was it!

Dd is starting playgroup in a few weeks - she is SO grown up now, I forget she is only 2 1/2.

Hope everyone's well. xxx

Wills · 28/03/2006 23:41

Hi ya tortoiseshell. I'm very awake because.... little one is currently seriously going for it! For a few minutes I actually wondered if he was going to make an early appearance. Gosh 3 1/2 weeks huh. I've stil got 7 1/2 but unlike dd2 I suspect this one will be more like 9 1/2. I haven't forgotton watching Katherine absolutely adament that she would be the first of our thread and then being very late. I've sort of picked up the idea that number three's are simply late.

Agree 100% over the relief that its not so hot out there!

tortoiseshell · 29/03/2006 08:51

Hi Wills - glad you're well - yes, 3 1/2 weeks is a bit optimistic - dd was 2 weeks late, so I'm thinking in terms of early May rather than late April, but you never know!

Hope you got some sleep last night!

Wills · 29/03/2006 19:13

Hi Did get some sleep eventually. Only to be woken by both girls getting up at 6.00 this morning. Can't wait to give up work. 5 more days to go. Last day next Wednesday. Luckily Lotte is still vaguely requiring a day time sleep. I had a practise with her over the weekend and yep if I shut the door and close us both into my bedroom she will eventually curl up beside me and go to sleep. So ok I have to go through at least 15 minutes of screaming ad dabs and she vents her annoyance with me but at least I know we can do it. How are you doing in terms of grabbing extra sleep.

champs · 05/04/2006 02:34

hiya!!

tortoiseshell - ahh no pg heat for you :) not long to go now, got your bag packed?

wills - have a wonderful "last day" tomoro xxx

hi to all you augusteen mummy's

tortoiseshell · 05/05/2006 08:43

Hi all - just to say my gorgeous ds2 was born on Monday - had a homebirth as planned, much longer (and more painful!) labour than with dd but he is definitely worth it. Ds1 and dd are very excited.

Wills - hope things are going well with you - can't be long to go now, and hope everyone else is ok. Can't believe our summer03 babies are coming up to 3 - have got to start doing scary things like school forms! Dd has just started playgroup and is loving it - she seems far too grown up for a 2 and a half year old.

champs · 11/05/2006 02:27

aarrgggg!!! congrats TS!!! welcome to your ds.

OMGosh school!! Shock

Wills · 18/05/2006 21:34

tortoise - many congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Am going in tomorrow to be induced as I keep having bleeds. The only way not to be induced is to accept going into hospital until he arrives so in the end I came ot the conclusion it would be easier all round if I simply got induced (which is what I think the consultant wanted). Am really really scared but here we go.

champs · 19/05/2006 00:56

hiya wills!! best wishes for tomo hun xxxx

Wills · 18/08/2006 21:30

So how are all the 3 year olds?

Lotte is fabulous and already asking me just how long it will be until shes four. Shes desperate to be like her older sister and I often forget that she's just a baby.

So how is everyone? Life is three and moved house is chaotic but blooming heck I love being a mum!
