I'm ok sol, thanks
he was up 3 times (tho last one was 6am so could count as morning) but didn't seem to have a problem settling back, much. Plus I'm almost over my cold so it all seems much easier

PeshaCake · 24/11/2007 11:31

sorry I can't make today

My SPD has come back with a vengance(sp?) I can actually here my pelvic bone click. Tbh its been off and on since W birth, and I've kind of put it out of my mind. But this morning was very loud when I got out of bed, so will be ringing the physio Monday morning. There is no constant pain as such, just if I'm in one position for more than 20mins, I know that first movement will hurt for a min or so And sometimes I've noticed it when I'm changing gear when driving.

Anyway......
Dh has gone out to his parents. He's said he's going to have a proper talk to his mum over childcare etc. I hate things like this. My mum fell out with her mil over 20 years ago. She said her mistake was not letting dad do the arguing. In the end, my dads mum complained to my dad about how mum had spoken to her (amongst other things) and my dad told her that that was his wife she was talking about, so button it. Never saw them since. She used to be quite nasty and return christmas presents, saying that they weren't sent with love, so have them back. This was to me and my sis when we were 10 & 8! We send cards etc, but tbh its more so they can't say anything about not knowing whats going on in our lives.

Families are great when they work, but bloody awful when they don't

PeshaCake · 24/11/2007 12:28

we're off on train to meet Octo
going to soft play, Junction 21, and making it more of an adventure by train

I'm BAAAAAAAACK!!! Laptop is fixed albeit temporarily and I realise I haven't a hope of catching up with what you've all been up to.

Since I was last on:

George got his first tooth.

He can crawl backwards well and forwards not so well. Also pulling himself up on furniture.

My little brother has moved to Australia But he and his dp are going to make me an aunty

My gran is still at home but very sick (cancer of lung, bones, lymph nodes, lymphoedema and a possible new tumour in her ear). My parents are soooo stressed. Bless them they are with her 7 days a week at the mo.

We've found a house in Bingley and had an offer accepted. Just need to sell our flat now. Had viewings today. Both FTBs. Keep everything crossed

Eva is doing well G met her last weekend and seemed quite keen on her. Did keep trying to chew her hands and feet. She saw consultant on Wed and he is very happy with her. No signs of brain damage so far.

Hope you and babies are well and that you haven't all changed your names

liath · 24/11/2007 16:23

Very quiet.......

Happy Birthday Eddas !

Hope things get sorted out for you MJ.

Urgh, Runny - hope the physio helps.

Have 5 minutes peace - DH is out getting the Harry Potter DVD with dd and ds is napping. Had friends over for lunch - amazing the destruction 2 toddlers and 2 crawling babies can wreak .

DH is now on days off (woohoo) and he passed his exam (woohoo) and seems to have found his libido at last (double woohoo). Unfortunately I haven't started the pill yet, so hope I'm not going to get a little surprise in 9 months....eeek!

Hope the meetup went well!

liath · 24/11/2007 16:25

Hi Leaky, great to see you back and wonderful news that Eva is doing so well . Sorry about your Gran though, I hope she's not in too much discomfort.

kneehighinnappies · 24/11/2007 16:26

Hello, and happy Brithday EDDAS
I am bored out of my mind, I should have gone out today but the DT's were being PITA's so we didn't bother, I should be doing housework or something but I just can't seem to motivate myself.

leakyR · 24/11/2007 16:32

Happy birthday Eddas.

Liath - gran has morphine patches and is also taking it orally too so her pain is managable at the moment. Took her ages to agree to the oral morphine. It's a generational thing she never says the word cancer and asks for her "pain medicine" not morphine.

normabutty · 24/11/2007 16:35

Hello

KHIN - thought you'd be on msn you haven't replied to my facebook email!!!

Happy Birthday Eddas!!!

Welcome back Leaky

NorthernLurker · 24/11/2007 16:55

Right now if all your Northern ladies missed this I will repeat my message from yesterday below:

I'm jealous of these meet-ups as well - who have we got in the north? Would anyone like to meet up? I'm train destinations only but could do Leeds, York or Durham.....any one fancy a new year tea and cake with babies type thing?

Of course - if you saw it but are avoiding me - that's a bit different

normabutty · 24/11/2007 17:00

Ooooh I will!!!! Leeds is best for me but could do York if it was a weekend.

NorthernLurker · 24/11/2007 17:05

Oh thank goodness for that! Was beginning to think it was me putting everyone off

Right - well I can do trainable Leeds with a bit of after school planning for dd 1 & 2 or at the weekend. York is very easy for me (ahem) anytime - shall we see who else might be interested and go from there?

Excited now

liath · 24/11/2007 17:05

I'd consider venturing South if it's somewhere on a direct train.

NorthernLurker · 24/11/2007 17:06

Hi Liath - what places are direct and due south from you?

leakyR · 24/11/2007 17:07

I'm in! Can do any of the venues.

NorthernLurker · 24/11/2007 17:08

Oh crikey I'm going to pass out with excitement - will be lovely to meet you all and the lovely babies - and force you all to admire B obviously (note to self - get a grip woman)

I shall go and tidy the understairs cupboard for a few minutes to calm myself.

liath · 24/11/2007 17:16

York or Durham would be best but I'm sure there's direct trains from Edinburgh to Leeds too.

geordiemacminx · 24/11/2007 17:21

Durham - then I will come. And Katy, and Liath, and Leaky, and NL... Thats 5 - Thats loads!!!!
