weeonion · 11/11/2007 20:47

oooggs - i am still off on mat leave til january and then part time to use up annual leave til july.

weeonion · 11/11/2007 20:55

oh khin - did the harrods tickets arrive for you?

busywithIzzy · 11/11/2007 20:57

Evening Ladies

NL - Your girls are gorgeous!

GMM - Very of your night away. to hear about your mum's friends, thinking and praying for them.

Dippy - have I said already fantastic photos of your gorgeous girlies!

WO - Sorry no advice re sleeping. I'm quite similar to Dippy. Izzy gets put down as soon as she shows signs of being tired, I know if she really cries, rather than grumbling she's not quite tired enough. she sleeps anywhere between 45mins to 3 hours.
I have found she sleeps better during the day in her cot and wearing her grobag as she does at night!

Pinions - Glad the ryveta problem is sorted! Have to admit to having a little giggle about it!!

Mammyjo - Fantastic that you have some new bras. I am missing my underwires

Eddas - Hope you had a good day with your sister in Brighton.

Liath - Sorry about your bad night, did have a chuckle at you attempting to 'shout' out the window wearing knickers etc!!

Hello Ellie, Nutty, SPB and Cazboldy and anyone else I've missed.

Feeling a bit crappy today sore throat, bit queasy etc, still managed to tidy the toy boxes and the living room, which is more than DH has managed

RANT ALERT
Today as I said have been feeling crappy, J not particularly well either, he has been in the living room with me watching crappy kids tv on and off most of the day. DH has been in the conservatory watching whatever he wants all day. It has really pissed me off I always end up with both children in living room with me whilst he gets to do whatever he wants. (Don't get me wrong I love spending time with the los but is it too much to expect DH to do some kids tv watching while I watch something I want to????)

tcmummy · 11/11/2007 20:58

evening all
no cc here either, infact same as dippy, don't really do crying! As for daytime naps, T's a fall-asleep-on-boob babba. I knoooow!!! Rod for my own back etc etc ! But it makes it sooooo easy He's so cute too, can't help myself!

gmm for your mum's friends. Hope the little one can hold on. x

Took T for an underwater photo today. Not sure they what they will look like . Probably him looking scared witless at being chucked in by a slightly insensitive woman! There was alot of crying, clingly babies and toddlers. Didn't think it would be quite that stressful. Just hoping it was worth it!

busywithIzzy · 11/11/2007 20:59

Hello Oooggs - sorry missed you out! Fantastic at making £60 last week. Thanks for making me feel better for letting Izzy fall off the bed.

tcmummy · 11/11/2007 21:00

oooggs - i'm back at work, but only 10hrs a week of which some I do with T tagging along and some dh juggles work to take T for me

busywithIzzy · 11/11/2007 21:01

Hello tcmummy - Hope the underwater photos look good.

tcmummy · 11/11/2007 21:03

hey BWI- grr at dh. Aren't weekends meant to be when mummies get a bit of a break!!

busywithIzzy · 11/11/2007 21:04

I'm back at work too at random times during the week. Mainly when Izzy is tired so I can take her in give her boobie, then put her to sleep in the travel cot while I rush round like a mad thing trying to get loads done before she wakes up.

busywithIzzy · 11/11/2007 21:05

Thanks tcmummy. Breaks what are they?? Dh thinks that because I'm bf, whenever Izzy cries it's because she wants feeding. Couldn't possibly be for any other reason could it?

Sexonlegs · 11/11/2007 21:06

Helllooo!!!!!!

God, so much to catch up on!

Pinions, how in f name, did you get ryvita stuck up your nose???
Glad you have been relieved!

Dooby, what a dreadful fright for you. Hope you and your lo are ok now.

GMM, so sorry to hear about your mum's friends twins. Really hope C pulls through.
Delighted you had a good night off too.

Bumble, lovely to see you back on MN.

WO, did I read that you are taking C to the dentist??

Pesha, haven't had your CV yet lady!

Oooggs, Happy Anniversary.

Completely forgotten everything else - sorry! Hope everyone, and babies are well and you have all had a great weekend.

I had a wonderful time with my cousins. Spent all yesterday afternoon having treatments, and sitting in the jacuzzi and steam room. Then we had champagne and nibbles in my room ( which happened to be the bridal suite!!!) followed by a yummy dinner.

Today we went shopping. I was very controlled and just bought 1 thing, but my cousins went mad!

Then back to the mad house! It was great to see the girls - I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms.

Now eating a flake - a wonderful end to a wonderful weekend.

geordiemacminx · 11/11/2007 21:07

Katy - C has been asleep since 6.30 too.

Dippy - we left him in the garage... not really... my parents came up and stayed here overnight. I think they are a bit orn out now mind as C decided 5am was play time with grannies.

WO - not to worry - I can see you on Thursday.

Just boiled chicken bones for stock, too busy uploading pics - forgot about it - boiled dry - arse!!!

Oh I have finally managed to get pics on profile if anyone wants to have a wee look. Dippy the girls are beautiful!!

Oooggs - no plans to return to work as yet. Telecoms pretty quiet up here at the moment. Would quite like to do something part time though, more for my own sanity and to get C used to being with other people more than anything

StealthPolarBear · 11/11/2007 21:09

oooggs, that sounds like bliss, maybe it will be OK then - if I'm posting at 4.30 am you'll all know why.
I'm off until April 1st (or 2nd, whenever is the obvious day to start back). Hoping to start doing 34 hours in 4 days, but still need to apply for that, thanks for reminding me.

Sexonlegs · 11/11/2007 21:11
