We went first night too, it was brilliant, haven't got the DVD yet though.

NorthernLurker · 13/11/2007 22:10

Thanks BWI - they are lovely - and very well combed now too Shame they have such a bad tempered bag for a mother.
I love Izzy's hair - mine are mostly hairless for some time as babies

PeshaCake · 13/11/2007 22:10

You can get nitty gritty combs free on prescription as its for the child. Thats how i got mine, had never heard of them before that. Work great but major pita!!

We have new harry potter on dvd to watch!

Eddas · 13/11/2007 22:10

busywithIzzy · 13/11/2007 22:12

Thanks NL, Izzy does have quite a lot of hair. It's starting to sit down a bit now though, so is losing some of it's charm! Must upload some new photos.

Free on prescription I didn't know that!

busywithIzzy · 13/11/2007 22:13

elkiedee · 13/11/2007 23:50

Eddas and Pesha, hope you get to watch the Harry Potter film soon, and enjoy it. I think I have the first 4 on DVD, must get round to sorting out the chaos of our collection and watching more of them, I went through a rather crazy shopping phase before I got pregnant, but I've calmed down lots since then so I think I've got it out of my system,

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 13/11/2007 23:51

I check my lot for nits every sunday - they have really short hair and you still can't see them - I did zap my mum once aswell as they had them and she was staying - she wasn't very impressed Makes me itch just thinking about the little buggers!

Morning all

Maveta, I'm going back a bit postwise but I'm glad you enjoyed baby group. It makes perfect sense to me that you gravitated towards the other women married to Spanish men, it's a real common point other than having young babies, and it probably means you relate a bit differently to where you live than women with totally English families. I've noticed that the babies at my local baby groups have parents from a very wide variety of places - mothers and/or fathers.

We're off out this morning to meet a friend from my postnatal class, and will then be home most of the afternoon, being visited by my dad. Hope you all have an enjoyable day.

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 14/11/2007 10:07

Oooggs - lovely pics - are they moving now?

Maveta · 14/11/2007 10:16

Morning all, can't hang around because I'm really slacking off at work today and it's getting a bit ridiculous. Just wanted to pop in to say hi..

elkie - I did think back on my post after I wrote it and thought well the way I've written it, it doesn't look weird at all! What I thought was interesting was that these were the 2 women with whom I got chatting to really easily and we chatted a good while about all sorts of things before we discovered that we both had spanish dhs. So not like I knew they did and that was our common talking point, iykwim.

I'm actually feeling a bit irritated about something. I hate receiving forwards and things like that, it's just one of my pet hates. I know they go round and loads of people like getting them so, you know, whatever. But yesterday morning the girl who organised the group asked for my phone number etc. just for outings or whatever and I gave it to her, and my email. Within an hour of arriving home I was on a forward list! it just really annoys me and I don't know them well enough to say anything without it being taken wrong. I just feel like it's a bit of a liberty. I gave my email because she asked for it but I kind of took it that the tacit understanding is that it was for contacting me for group things, not for circulating my email round a load of people I don't even know and for sending me junk

CaptainDippy · 14/11/2007 10:28

Morning! No mammouth sleep today Although she did wake up at 7am , which was nice I think the only reason she woke up was cos she had the most HUGE sloppy poo in her nappy (tmi) - yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk .........

She slept loads yesterday, on top of her 17 hour marathon. She obviously needed it, poor love..... Not great today, all snotty and miserable, as is DD2 - DD1 now getting better - If it's not one, it's the other Going to a free Sure Start swim this pm - friend looking after P as I don't think it would be wise to take her atm. Very cos my 2 love swimming and we never get an opportunity to take them

runny - LOVE the pics, the one of DS and DH is yummy - Your boys are gorgeous and you are looking fiiiine. laydeee! [sink] Oooggs, you are mighty talented, love the T-Shirts - E&J are yum!

CaptainDippy · 14/11/2007 10:29

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 14/11/2007 10:33
