Just checked fb and there's a statement from Fury that she is "somewhat pissed off at being sacked whilst on holiday"

BadZelda · 09/11/2007 20:54

By the way, Daisy, are you continuing with the BLW stuff? I haven't mashed or pureed anything DD2's had yet...but have only been giving her tiny tastes of things. Not sure how it works when you're feeding them more. There's probably whole threads on this kind of thing, right? brb

DynamiteDaisy · 09/11/2007 20:54

lol fairy, we had that too!

annobalthebignosereindeer · 09/11/2007 20:56

I love popcorn Daisy. I don't dare eat it at the moment though as if I put a packet in the microwave I end up eating it all and giving myself and ds a tummy ache. Sounds like a lovely day

LOL re paper liners. I had to use the more expensive ones as they gave ds (2) a sore bottom - they were a bit hard and scratchy.

foxythesnowman · 09/11/2007 20:57

OH NO! Poor Fury!

Bananas are the devils work where my kids are concerned. Why are they the only children who get completely bunged up when the eat them?

Might start feeding them to lo the night before weigh-in!

DynamiteDaisy · 09/11/2007 20:57

not true BLW....just throwing some grub on her tray while we eat, then feeding her some thick puree/masshed stuff afterwards.

although I did buy some ready made purees to try the other day so she is getting them.

check out Aitch's Blog

DynamiteDaisy · 09/11/2007 20:58

poor fury

annobalthebignosereindeer · 09/11/2007 20:59

Poor Fury . Anyone know what happenned?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 09/11/2007 21:02

Fury did say a couple of weeks ago that she didn't think her contract would be renewed when she had the run-in with an idiot in the office about her using the phone. Particularly awful hearing whilst on holiday

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 09/11/2007 21:13

Just catching up and was just saying to DH that you all seemed to have started weaning. dd hasn't had anything yet, not a sausage and she is erm 20 weeks?

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 09/11/2007 21:16

DD hasn't had that much yet Bumper. And certainly no sausages

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 09/11/2007 21:18

Though it's just dawned on me that we've reached the end of the week, so that's a full week that she's been on proper food. Wow, where did that time go?

OP posts:
FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 09/11/2007 21:25

I think DS would happily eat a sausage!

foxythesnowman · 09/11/2007 21:30

absolutely no interest in weaning here.

which is just as well as I can't be arsed

annobalthebignosereindeer · 09/11/2007 21:39

Like your Christmas name Foxy

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 09/11/2007 21:57

I had a message from Fury earlier saying DS was great on the flight, she's got a call while on holiday to say no job , was having a bit of a shite time leading upto her hols and to "send my love to the girls"....so I assume she means you lot

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 09/11/2007 21:58

btw, I give DD 3 meals a day together with bottles...the only bottle withour solids is her bedtime one...is that right? I'm just winging it here ....she's not complaining....

Sputnik · 09/11/2007 22:02

Whew, just back from a mega screaming session with the baby, looks like his ears are really bothering him, gave paracetamol in the end. We were at the docs for it yesterday and got some drops, hopefully they'll work and we won't have to resort to abs

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 09/11/2007 22:09

Ouch for baby sputnik, that must be horrible for him! (and you!)

Sputnik · 09/11/2007 22:13

What I couldn't believe was DH falling asleep right next to us in the midst of it all

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 09/11/2007 22:14

Awww Sputnik, ear infections are horrible...

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 09/11/2007 22:14

Its a bloke thing ....amazing ability isn't it?

Sputnik · 09/11/2007 22:20

He was up at 6. But then so was I

How's DD's chest LMN?

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 09/11/2007 22:27

DDs breathing is still noisy Sputnik....she's been having ABs for 3 days now as well as cough linctus...I don't know....I'm not convinced its an infection, the mucus is at the back of her throat....most babies puke this up....its not worrying as such cos she's ok in herself, but its bothering me!

Oh well back to GPs next week

right off to bed....hope DS sleeps well Sputnik and his ears don't get him up....

nite x

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 09/11/2007 22:27

Righto peeps, am wondering why I am still up when DD has been in bed for an hour so I'm off. Have lovely weekends. Off to the MIL tomorrow. Will no doubt be force fed lard soaked sausage rolls and mince pies while being asked if I am feeding DH enough!
