I did give up on the general disaster zone that is my house this afternoon and instead spent it making Nigella's choc brownies with DD messing it up helping, so I'll happily pass them around - only a million calories per slice

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 07/11/2007 21:28

FF - know the feeling about the never-ending pile of clutter....I just NEVER have a time anymore when all of my house is clean and tidy.....

Right, def going now - night all x

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 07/11/2007 21:28

Fairy - I know what you mean about not getting much ME time. Unfortunately I don't get enough time for photography these days

bugger, I meant messing it up

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/11/2007 21:30

oh fark it, I can't work out how to do crossing out, I'm sure you got the point!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 07/11/2007 21:31

I think you have to do it to each word in turn (right pain if you ask me)

OP posts:
upsyderlor · 07/11/2007 21:32

i am totally knackred tonight, i should really just go to bed but i can't even be arsed to do that!!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/11/2007 21:32

Must go to bed as well.... is it the weekend yet?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/11/2007 21:33

I know the feeing derlor, sometimes the effort of going upstairs, getting undressed, cleaning my teeth, etc all just seems too much effort

annobalthebignosereindeer · 07/11/2007 21:33

I know what you mean about me time FF - that concept has been non-existent for some time.

We're often in after 3/4 as DSs just seem so tired and 2 or 3 days in nursery really take it out of them.

Derlor, chaos I can do well. And please don't get me started on the size of my arse...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 07/11/2007 21:33

I'm off to bed too. Hope tomorrow is easier for everyone.

upsyderlor · 07/11/2007 21:34

annobalthebignosereindeer · 07/11/2007 21:41

Am of your fab arse Derlor .

I'm totally knackered so am off to bed too. DS seems to be on a growth spurt so will probably be up every 2 hours!

Nite all

flashbangfoxy · 07/11/2007 21:48

Blimey, I'm boring myself now! Thank for the link Derlor, been reading up on it.

Everything of mine seems to be heading south - haven't been to the gym in weeks. Starting again on Tuesday. Not sure I can get gravity to work everything back up though!

I can't go to bed yet, as I have to wake lo up for a feed in another hour. Oh bloody hell!

upsyderlor · 07/11/2007 21:54

couldn't you just stand on your head for a couple of hours a day???

flashbangfoxy · 07/11/2007 22:00

LOL!

Are you suggesting that in your health professional capacity?

upsyderlor · 07/11/2007 22:04

DynamiteDaisy · 07/11/2007 22:45

have i missed everyone?

had a RL friend (who is also on MN) round this evening.....she's got three weeks to go and it's her first baby, so all very exciting!

My mum is home from the hospice , but is staying at my sister's. I spoke yo my dear sis earlier and she was saying that it's probably going to be a matter of a few months . She suggested getting aweb cam so that we can do web chats with Nanna whilst she is staying at theirs.

Mum thinks she will be going home again once she is on her feet, but my sis thinks she will be with them indefinately .

I don't know whether to go up or not; I don't want mum thinking that I'm there cos we think she isn't long for this world, but on the other hand I want to see her, and I want DS to have his chance to see her again too.....it's so, so difficult.

sorry for going on about it.....

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 08/11/2007 06:26

Morning all, been awake since 5am. No particular reason but can't get back to sleep so thought I'd get up and express and come on here.

Daisy, sorry to hear your mum isn't getting any better. If it would help you to see her you really should go, I'm sure she will just be pleased to see you and the DCs.
