And don't have a go at people on your own thread, they are entitled to their own opinions even if it means sitting on the fence.

octo · 04/11/2007 21:11

((sits on hands))

octo · 04/11/2007 21:13

My arse is tiny compared to many equine animals too (thank goodness)

(((not ignoring you rhubarb but have also retreated to high fence)))

Maveta · 04/11/2007 21:13

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:14

Rhubarb, the highlighted bits were from this post I think

octo · 04/11/2007 21:14

Maveta - ooh and some popcorn (((yummy toffee one)))

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:16

excuse me octo I was comparing my arse to a cat
Well a big cat, that's had too many McDonalds
Hi Maveta, no, I think it will take a while for the novelty to wear off, feels like there's been a while before he's done anything 'new' iykwim

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:17

anyway, feedy time at the zoo, back soon hunnys xxxxxxx (((((hugs)))))

Rhubarb · 04/11/2007 21:17

Ah yes. Well I fail to understand why then, if we were light hearted on this thread and it all ended good naturedly, pinion has to take it upon herself to seek out something she thinks is offensive and put it on here?

Did we come on and start being nasty? Did we say anything unkind? Or were we joking around with other posters and having a laugh? If you don't want anyone else posting you just have to say so.

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:18

BTW I think it was Rhubarb said don't wish their life away, I was given that advice soon after T was born and I didn't understand it. I then caught myself thinking "life will be easier when he's weaned / sleeping through the night / at school.." then I caught myself and realised exactly what she meant

normabutty · 04/11/2007 21:19

LOL @ woman at baby show .

I'm looking at allsorts. I've bought a second hand wool wrap that I thought was gorgeous. I've also bought a danhappy wrap. I'm thinking of buying a weenotions red velvet wrap with snowman embroidery on for xmas pics & xmas day (but still thinking about it ). I've bought a jimmy riddles dress and matching nappy in a snowflake designed material. I've also seen a gorgeous pink embroidered chinese silk design nappy from a UK WAHM (v reasonable too so am tempted by that).

Then there's loads of bits I like on Hyena Cart . Have seen some nice pads for me too .

octo · 04/11/2007 21:20

Rhubarb - they're right you know - you did say it and then you did crash - wind neck in and jump ship before the going gets tough and the scary ones get back and eat you alive

I know this is cyber space but if your arse is smaller than a cat's arse you are titchy - like silavnian family titchy

Maveta - how is the little man - lovely photo on facebook

BoysAreLikeDogs · 04/11/2007 21:20

See, we apologised very nicely, and Rhubarb gave some lovely advice, end of, or so it seemed. I am that some of you seem to have missed this.

Rhubarb · 04/11/2007 21:21

Pinion et al, sorry you don't want us on this thread, sorry you feel we took the piss. This thread will just rage on and on unless one of us backs down so let's just shake and forget it huh? We weren't having a go as you can see yourself when you scroll down to look at our posts. Stop being so serious.

You are welcome to take the piss out of any of my threads at any time. I'd like to think my threads are not exclusive. Just don't be so quick to jump to the wrong conclusions next time, you can have a laugh and still be nice you know.

octo · 04/11/2007 21:22

ooh norma - go for the xmas one and post me a link!

weeonion · 04/11/2007 21:23

octo · 04/11/2007 21:24

Time for a new thread and end of ding dong I think ... not good at this - may take some time...

octo · 04/11/2007 21:25

last weekend - at home now.

normabutty · 04/11/2007 21:27

This is the wrap here (there's a pick of a red velvet pocket nappy on the right which shows the material) and this is the embroidery I like.

Rhubarb · 04/11/2007 21:27

Here I did a new thread for you. Just to show that I am a nice person. Enjoy.

Eddas · 04/11/2007 21:28

i'm a bit about what's going on TBH. WC can I join you on the fence please, my butt is more than ample

We took dd to see fireworks at Leeds Castle today. The display lasts about 30mins. She fell asleep on DH after 15 I don't know spends 15mins moaning about the noise then falls asleep can't have been that load Was brilliant though, very spectacular

Next sunday we're trecking down to Brighton to visit my sis and her boyf. She just phones to say my bro and his girlf are going too so that'll be good. Shame Dad won't be there but if he came he'd have to bring step mother so think his invite got lost

octo · 04/11/2007 21:30

I have made a new thread - wriggly rollers and commando crawlers - just can't link it in!

weeonion · 04/11/2007 21:30

norma - that is a beaut nappy. really lovely
