Hi Daisy.
Bye Daisy

foxystein · 28/10/2007 19:44

N'Nite Daisy.

Here's my update:
Eve, I think, is 15 weeks old.
Weighs: not enough, but we're working on it. Still bf, not refused a feed yet.
Length: no idea but fills her 0 - 3 babygros
No teeth
A covering of fluff with a bit of a mohawk happening. kinda cool!
Sleeps really well at night, crap in the day
Smiles, chats and chunters. Does big wide heart-melting grins and is always happy to see her mum. She laughs at anything.
Loves her playmat and reaches up to grab her toys and wind-chime.
Loves her brothers and sister. DS2 was the first to make her laugh and she pisses herself laughing at his goofyness. DD1 adores her, DS1 is her kind and gentle big bro who would do anything for her.
OK, not a quick update from me then. You can tell I'm smitten with them.

Shame the same can't be said for DP...

foxystein · 28/10/2007 19:44

ooh, just realised how you do halloween smileys.

annobal · 28/10/2007 19:56

Hello, any lurkers around?

Welcome back Daisy, Trace and Andiem

Daisy - sorry your Mum has been so poorly.

Oliver - 20 weeks today
weight approx 18lb+ but not been weighed for a few weeks
small amount of increasingly blond hair
no teeth but been drooling madly for weeks
feeds 4 bottles a day plus fruit purees and rice porride. LOVES banana
sleeps twice in day and pretty well at night
loves to be propped in corner of couch but no interest in sitting alone
can bear his weight standing for 20 secs or so when holding my hands
Grabs any toys in reach and stuffs into his mouth
Started rolling all the way over this weekend but not too impressed at being on his tummy
Loves his big sister

Mummy is very proud!

fairyfay · 28/10/2007 21:40

I guess not, ho hum I suppose I'll have to go back to RL.

bumperlicious · 29/10/2007 08:10

Morning,

here's my update:

DD is, um, 18 weeks? 18.5 to be exact
Weight - err, quite small for her age, though I think she may have caught up with this growth spurt!
Length - erm...I'm a bad mummy, I don't know any of this stuff
Feeding - going much better since I have relaxed about it and stopped seeing us as have 'a problem'. Very much on demand though
Sleeping - Up and down at the moment, 9-6 today (yay!) who knows what tomorrow will bring. Only sleeps on me during the day since she has grown out of her moses basket!
Development - not doing any rolling or anything, can take her dummy out (but not get it back in ), talks a lot, very giggly, has discovered tantrums and is easily frustrated
Looks - eyes turning from grey to brown (like her momma!), hair pretty fair and tufty, not a lot of it.
The best thing is when you go to get her out of bed and she gives you the biggest grin a wiggles like a little caterpillar!

Daisy - I lasted about a week off mn! Though I like to think I am using it more sensibly now! Might not be around much this week, my dad is coming up for a few days tomorrow, my mum coming to join us wednesday night, and my bf (the one who had an m/c and is now TTC) is coming this weekend.

Trace good to hear from you, you sound like you are coping brilliantly!

LittleMissNorty · 29/10/2007 08:13

Morning

I'm knackered today....DH gone off to work like a bear with a sore head as the dog had him up 3 times in the night to go out....well DD had me up 3 times as well....albeit not until 5am onwards....

Hard life innit

Hope you all had good nights

andiem · 29/10/2007 08:16

morning all been up early as well lo has not adjusted to the hour change so was up at 5 and been awake since

anyway I am all ready for school
dh gone to iceland for the night -2 there brr

tiler should be coming to start my bathroom today

milkyJammy · 29/10/2007 08:36

Morning.

DD woke at either 3 or 4 this morning (I can't remember!), then again at 6, then properly at 7. I also had to go and feed the cat at 6 after feeding DD.

Loads to do today. Group with DD this morning, and lots of tidying/cleaning to do round the house too. And need to plan meals for the week to write shopping list for DH. Shame I'm so exhausted.

milkyJammy · 29/10/2007 08:37

Agree about the grin and caterpillar wriggle being the best thing Bumper!

milkyJammy · 29/10/2007 08:40

DD is murmering away to herself on the carpet, and has just made a massive fart noise (that I suspect was more than just a fart) followed by a sound that sounded EXACTLY like "fuck" !

annobal · 29/10/2007 08:42

Morning, what a beautiful day. I think we'll be off to the park and possibly into town to see DH for lunch.

We had an ok night. 24 hours without vomming so things looking up. I did have to change a nappy at 3am and another this morning though! Guess that's all the rubbish coming out.

We're also up early as DS1&2 are early risers anyway so were up at 6am after already being convinced to stay in their beds for half an hour.

Right, off for breakfast.

annobal · 29/10/2007 08:46

Milky, that's hilarious.

DS2 was wondering around on Saturday saying 'where's my fucking money' . Even worse, DH, who swears like a trooper (or the manc that he is) noted that it was in my accent, not his

IamDaisy · 29/10/2007 08:54

morning.

IKWYM about the hour changes andiem, but coming back on the ferry on saturday night, we had two hours to cope with! I wondered why I was feeling dog tired at 8:30 last night.

DD up twice in the night again, and DS has started waking at night and not going back to sleep. DH caught him trying to put the TV on at 4:30am, he then lay in his bed shouting I'M HUNGRY for an hour at random intervals.

I'm still in my jammies this morning as DH off doing the school run with both DCs . He's working from home today, but after nearly two solid weeks together we are starting to irritate each other at every turn. The constant conversation is really getting to me and I just want to sit in the peace and quiet and coo gently at my lovely DD. He's off into town later though so I'll get some peace and quiet then!

Annobal....sounds like fun in your house, and I hope bottoms get back to normal pretty quickly!

dogtanian · 29/10/2007 08:55

Morning!

Hey daisy, did you have a lovely time? You've prob answered that question already, but I haven't checked through the last couple of days of chat! Hope all is well.

Hope everyone else is ok too .

LittleMissNorty · 29/10/2007 08:56

LOL MJ - that's one for the baby record book....My first word was.......

LOL Annobal.....stories like that always make me laugh...but I don't suppose I will be when its mine

LittleMissNorty · 29/10/2007 08:56

Morning Holly - was thinking about you earlier....are we still doing secret santa?

IamDaisy · 29/10/2007 08:57

lol at the swearing.....when DS was about 18months, he dropped something at his GPs house and exclaimed FFS very clearly and loudly. My MIL was NOT impressed . Now he's older and knows what's what, he tells me off for swearing all the time
Right off for a shower before DH gets back as that was my excuse for getting him to take DD out with him as well, and if I'm not at least IN the shower when he gets back he'll sulk.
