Toby is lovely but always packed on a Sunday!! mind you, Z loves it, he gets to eat yummy veggies while we tuck into our roasts!! im a bit wary of the salt content in the yorkshires, so he doesn't get any - more for me!!

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2007 09:17

Well I was in bed by 10pm last night with my stinking cold (my poor baby is still suffering with it, he looks so poorly)
Up at 1 - 1.30 and 2.30 - 3.30 am with crying baby. But...he slept until 7am!!! Woo hoo! I had a lie in! (ish)

Have tons to do today, but if anyone wants a game of scrabble....please do start one with me!!! Wilkie isnt around to make her next move until this evening, and my RL are all in bed for most of Sundays! (no kids )

Have a good day x

Salt in Yorkshires???? Come to mine, there is no salt in mine and they rise up magnificently. In fact, one of the only things I do really well is make Yorkshires.

Well, am supposed to be on my way to mum and dad's to go to a garden centre (whoo - can life get any more exciting??!?!) but J has fallen asleep and I am loathe to wake him so will have to wait till he has woken up.

I really need a poo but can't be arsed to go and have one.

Got my crimbo wrapping paper yesterday so am getting V exciting. Plus got J a fabulous felt santa's sack from Matalan £5 (bargain) and it will last him for years!

WeeWitchyWilkie · 21/10/2007 09:20

Liz - I will play for a bit until J wakes up.

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2007 09:21

ps - welcome Susie! Glad another Southern person has joined us. I am in Eastbourne. Where abouts in Surrey are you? (I come from Tolworth...very classy me! )

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2007 09:21

WeeWitchyWilkie · 21/10/2007 09:30

Don't listen to Lizz, Susie - she works in Primark

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2007 09:37

At least I dont shop there!! (cant afford to on my wage!)

Ann Summers is opening in Eastbourne soon...do you think I should apply?

laughalot · 21/10/2007 10:25

Vino why dident you tell me you where off to clumber park I am only a few minutes away from there, mmm just had a thought maybe you dont want to meet me .

Wilkie ooh my goodness poor sclub sounds tragic. I challenge you to a yorkshire pud contest mine are rather big......... Hope j is better tonight.

Welcome susie its always nice to have a newbie hope the girls havent scared you off with too many cum stories.

Eah sorry I dident text you back aid was being a right pain in the arse yesterday however he is poorly with cough and cold but he is forever tormenting lauren who just ends up in floods of tears. The meal was ok it was a new place that has just opened so service was slow and lauren fell to sleep in the highchair. Enjoy dinner.

Rgee glad pip is crawling wont it be great when the christmas trees are up.

2happy you are not alone im in the midlands.

eandh · 21/10/2007 15:24

oh help me we are at il's ellie throwing tantrums every 5 mins (wouldnt eat dinner at the table because bil was there ) and hattie only just having her afternoon nap (1.5hours late so god knows what time she'll settle tonight and also means we can't leave till she wakes up!)

Dragonhart · 21/10/2007 16:20

I'm in the north too Susie Not much help though as pretty far form Surrey! Surrey is where DH is from though. In Epsom.

I hate money too Shimmer. DOesnt seem to matter how hard I budget, there doesnt seem to be enough. Hope it goes quick to end of Nov for you.

Pretty rubish night here too. Luke has a nasty cough, never had one as bad before so if we have another bad night to nigh, might take him to the docs.

EAH just pretend you can hear H crying and leave DH to deal with the tantrums

laughalot · 21/10/2007 18:12

Dragon aidan is the same he has such a bad cough I could cry for him

gobletofblood · 21/10/2007 18:40

laughalot if you are only a few mins away from clumber park maybe we could meet for a stroll there sometime if you can get there. It only took us 50 mins from here which was quicker than I expected.

Christening was nice today. I drove so DH could have a couple of pints. It was one of Ellen's friends Samuel who was a chrsitmas day baby.

Tired tired tired now. I need an early night so heading off for a bath first.

Wilkie / E&H - if lo's are napping in the house don;t they just stay asleep/fall straight back alseep when you move them??? I can't imagine delaying anything waiting for her to wake up but maybe thats my impatience. I just shift Ellen if I need to be off somewhere and she usually nods back off wherever I strap her into.

DH - I am useless at budgeting too!

ooh we had a viewing on thurs night - a very timid girl who barely said a word and didn't want to look in the cellar. Heard nothing from the estate agent about feedback yet but she turned up on the doorstep with her mum this afternoon wanting to look round....hopefully that's a good omen. Am not counting my chickens though.....

Roasting a chicken at the mo to use cold in sarnies this week. Smells lovely!

BTW someone asked about follow on milk the other day. I have used it since 6 months.

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2007 19:03

I was born in Epsom!

Dylan has such an awful cough, that if I didnt know better I'd say he'd been on the ciggies.

Anyone around for scrabble this evening? I've got ironing to do and need to keep myself going to get through the pile (s!) of it.

WeeWitchyWilkie · 21/10/2007 20:42

Lizz - I'm up for Scrabble

Vino - bless you, I'll swap you J for E for the day and see if you shift him when he's asleep

JodieG1 · 22/10/2007 13:09

Quick post as we have yet more illness here (Ethan) and I'm feeling ill too and have a bad headache, Ethan just took his first steps!!! He's been taking 1 from standing up for a couple of weeks but has just taken 3!

Ds1 got knocked off his scooter on Saturday so have had a crappy weekend, he's fine but police were called and will come back later as Ethan is crying again now.

laughalot · 22/10/2007 13:43

laughalot · 22/10/2007 13:56

tasha21 · 22/10/2007 13:59

im sure ill fit right in then lol. my elest is 3 and then 1 and then 7 weeks so im on a bit of a juggling act. ive just got the wee one to sleep been really unsettled today o no spoke to soon lol.

laughalot · 22/10/2007 14:02

Gosh you are a brave lady having three that age . What have you got girls/boys?

tasha21 · 22/10/2007 14:07

All boys wat are the chances. the 1 year old (Dylan) has been a bit jealous did you have any trouble with that. the youngest was premature so should only really be born now. he still only weighs 5.12.

laughalot · 22/10/2007 14:11

Aaah bless a teeny tiny baby then is he all ok now ? My ds was really jealous at first and did used to give her a poke in the face and the odd slap here and there but he is getting better. He still torments her but now she is on the move he thinks he can play rough with her and still dosent realise she is just a baby. There is another lady who posts on her called lth she has four boys.

tasha21 · 22/10/2007 14:19

he is getting there, he gets gaviscon in his milk for reflux but lately he has started bringing up his feeds again so i phoned the health visitor today but she just told me to phone the hospital because he has a clet lip and palate but i dont think its related. aww dylan just crys when i hold him so i have to get on the floor and give them both cuddles thank goodness my eldest has been a gem but he can be quite rough with dylan. 4 boys my goodness ill not bother trying for a girl any time soon then lol.

laughalot · 22/10/2007 14:30

I think its just natural for them to be like that all the mums who post on this thread have had problems with there other children, I think you are doing your best and lets be honest your middle one is still young himself. I dont have much advice about reflux but my friend [mad lady] weewitchywilkie who posts on here has a little boy and im sure he had reflux she will probably be on later.
