Piffle · 24/10/2007 21:25

foxy if you can you are a better woman than me LOL

kittywitch · 24/10/2007 22:39

Piff, got your dvd yet?

eidsvold · 24/10/2007 22:40

so who is up for a meet up at mine

Dd3 only has one tooth think the other is not far off.

Dd1 was 8 months old when I found ( no seriously) two teeth in her mouth.

kittywitch · 24/10/2007 22:49

I'll come ( on my own!!!)

foxensteinscreature · 24/10/2007 23:00

Yeah me too Eids!

What DVD is that Piff/Kitty - is it Ronnie's birth?

I met him today he is so cute - Monti and he bonded; well as much as babies can at this stage

kittywitch · 25/10/2007 08:39

foxy, it's a kettlebell workout. Piffle and I like to perfect our pervy muscle bound moves doncha know

Piffle · 25/10/2007 09:25

No dvd here yet Kitty, postal backlog plus international postage I guess.
Plus dp off now for rest of the week dare not do it in front of him lest he thinks it's... pervy

Foxy if you have a mind like him I fear for you

Eids oh yes, me too would love to
Actually my brother is relocating to Oz with his Brissy fiancee... reckon there might be a weddign there one day...

Mossy · 25/10/2007 19:55

Well, glad you all had a lovely meet up !

I have not had the best day today. Went to the antenatal breastfeeding workshop to help the midwife who runs it... and it was just me and her; no one turned up

But it gets better... my friend's ds, who is just a little older than Bertie, had a tummy bug... I met up with her yesterday... now Bertie has it.

He had some carrot and chicken for tea and threw it up all over the place, I bf him and he threw most of that up as well, I am not putting him upstairs in bed because I am nervous so I have him in the sling on my chest at the moment and he has gone to sleep.

I am actually a bit scared because he is only a very tiny baby as it is and I don't want him to lose any weight ... I'm stopping all solid food until he stops throwing up and just giving him breastmilk, that's got to be easier to keep down?

Kitty I want to see -your- -bum- Ronnie's birth as well!

This new way of reading messages is a bit weird, isn't it?

Jaysthird · 25/10/2007 20:23

OMG i dont post for a bit and i come back to a new site, help whats going on!!!!!!

Mossy · 25/10/2007 20:32

Jay it is a bit odd the way it's set out isn't it?!

How's things anyway?

OP posts:
Jaysthird · 25/10/2007 20:56

yeah its too odd for my simple preggie brain!

Pregnacy is going great guns, currently 22 weeks, and feeling baby move a fair bit. Had scan on Tuesday but didnt find out sex, although i think i may have accidently seen someting to sway my idea on what it is, shall have to let you know in due course if i was right!

I see you all had a meet up at Kittys, nice one, its always cool to meet up with the faces behind the type!

Jensen atill has problems, too many to go into but the one thats driving me the most insane is the sleepless nights - still. I mean he is 7 mths old ffs, and he still wakes 3,4,5 times, last night he woke at 220 and didnt go back to sleep till almost 4, then it was only till 530...i have tried controlled crying, for the past two weeks, but ti doesnt work. He eats loads and has dropped quite a bit of milk, hes happy enough in himself- personally i thikn its a dummy dependance and he cant get back to sleep on his own when he wakes from his 'deep' sleep..... any advice more than welcome - guess i should post on the sleep thread really but you did ask how things were going!

Mum has him tonight, DH away for the night so DD is in bed fast asleep and i intend on having an early restful night!

Anything else i should know abo97ut, anymore pregnancies lurking??? or at least being planned??

intheshitegarden · 25/10/2007 21:38

ewww freaky what have they done to this site?if they are trying to make it like a normal forum they are failing miserably!

at your meet up.glad you all had a good time though.

mossy-sorry to hear bertie isnt too well.i know he is small but i would say he's petite, its not like he's underweight or anything.dont worry, just keep bf him and take him to the doc if he doesnt get better.

Elsie has a tummy bug i think.she has been doing runny poos and farting like a pregnant woman on lactulose.she also has a bad chest again so im taking her to the doctors tomorrow.again.dh says i may as well move there.

jay-i am having an anti-pregnancy appointment with my obs+gynae consultant at the hospital in the morning.i asked to see the same one who looked after me in my last 3 pregnancies,so it should be a pretty short consultation.'you want me to steralise you?at bloody last!'.

covenhope · 25/10/2007 22:03

Jay my DD is waking regularly in the night. She was up every hour the night before last . Apparently Monti is the same. Teeth?

foxensteinscreature · 25/10/2007 22:04

Jay I am planning an "unplanned" one IYKWIM! . Hw are you feeling?

Shitegarden - I thought my computer had another virus when I logged on - have managed to get it back to the "classic" MN now Don't like change

BTW SG Its good to have you back - how is married life then?

Kitty - having mega fantasies about buying your house and living in a village

Mossy - get you helping the midwife - you should deffo train as a BF counsellor you know

Does anyone else on here like Christy Moore? (Piffle??) He's playing tomorrow and I didn't get tickets and was really annoyed with myself and have just found out he's added some new dates for December

foxensteinscreature · 25/10/2007 22:08

Cove- x posts
Nice to meet your DD yesterday

Yes Monti up every hour too - have dressed him in DD's old pink polka dot fleecy pyjamas in the hope that if he is warm tonight he might sleep better..

LunarScream · 25/10/2007 22:08

Click on the "customize talk board" link at the top of the page and you can set it to "classic" look.

morocco · 25/10/2007 22:18

congrats diva, dh hey!!!! hope it was a fab day with loads of happy memories

sorry babies are snuffly, dd is whingey and the ds's have nasty coughs - i hate cold weather/bugs. em still wakes loads at night.

i can't imagine being 22 wks preggers jays mum, wow!! where do you get the energy from? i'm hoping to get a coil soon - i'm too knackered for any more kids. respect to those of you not so tired

mossy - bf meet up didn't have any people - keep on going! how's the course? keep meaning to email you as well, will try tmorro

anyone explain facebook? is it tricky to join? more addictive than mn??

kittywitch · 25/10/2007 22:24

God, still loads of poorly kids here. I'm going stir crazy bonkers aghhhhh!

Foxy, you can buy our house

Mossy, sorry bertie has a bug. I'm afraid winters and babies= bugs. Expect him always to have a bug then when he doesn't you'll be happy

I've booked an appt for Ronnie to see the Doc next week re his crooked head!! Perhaps some osteopathy or something might help. He looks like someone's broken his neck

Good to hear from you Jay. Glad everything's going well with the preg, sorry that Jensons keeping you up though, you must be exhausted
SG , good luck with your appt tomorrow. Sorry Elsie is poorly again. She really has had lots of nasty bugs hasn't she. Still she'll be as strong as an ox when she's older!

Right Af must be due any day. I have been the demon witch from hell today. Have smacked 2 kids and had a row with dh. I've also got a cold which doesn't help. Having been preg for the past 10 years nearly I've forgotton how miserable periods are

intheshitegarden · 25/10/2007 23:41

kitty-dh?have i missed something?

i like periods as for me being pregnant is like having PMT for 9 months.at least now i get 3 or 4 days of normalitysigh.

Rosyspookily · 26/10/2007 07:27

I like Christy Moore Foxy, hope you get to see him in December.Hope you have that accidental bfp soon

Intheshite I have a similar appointment this morning, coil fitting for me! Not planning any more littlies, I'm quite delighted with the brood I have now! All the best with your appointment!

Kitty, hope you feel better soon. I would also like to buy your house it looks lovely on the birthing show.

Morocco Facebook is confusing at first but it's great when you get used to it! (do you like scrabble?)

Mossy my ds2 has always been petit..Hasan is nearly as big as him already! But he eats loads and is really strong but it is always horrible when children are sick and lose weight, When I was in Pakistan last year the children had runs and vomiting for 3 weeks and I could see their bones. I was so devastated I was desperate to bring them home and feed them up!
I'm going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming back to Pakistan because we always get cryptosperidium or whatever it's called.

Schools are closing today here for half term so dd has a fancy dress day.
Tomorrow we are heading to Cork in search of a long lost dh/daddy.

foxensteinscreature · 26/10/2007 08:13

Rosy - I have a good idea - perhaps between us we could buy the house!

Well my Auntie Flo came to visit this morning

Hope the GP/coil/sick baby visits go well today

foxensteinscreature · 26/10/2007 08:13

Rosy - BTW Christy has arranged extra dates - but they are for Dublin!!!

kittywitch · 26/10/2007 09:20

Ha, foxy, I'm STILL waiting for mine , another bitch day for me then. But unlike with you there is not a chance that I could be pg, dh would much rather watch the football and drink whisky than have sex with me, I'm that alluring . Sorry, I am feeling VERY sorry for myself atm, can you tell?

Dh has sent me back to bed. Having had another night of shite non-sleep, dealing with crying babies, coughs, etc, etc I am now at the end of my very short tether. I have an overwhelming urge to cheer myself up by spending vast amounts of money I don'thave on lovely things that I absolutely do not need.
Sorry, I'll go away now.

Rosyspookily · 26/10/2007 09:28

Foxy get some cheapy flights and come to dublin for Christy Moore, and we have a house in navan (which will probably still be empty) that you can stay in for free.

scarybee · 26/10/2007 09:30

Hey all

We had a shit night last night so I am scratchy eyed. And I have anaemia and my skin has flared up (spots and eczema) so I am feeling very sorry for myself indeed. Sounds like a few of you feel the same way. Perhaps it's the weather?

I feel very confused by this new look MN too but I like the halloween smilies

Elliot has teeth. They are like tiny razors planted in the top of his gum. How long does it take them to grow into proper teeth like things?

We are off to my mum and dad's for some tlc in a bit. Hope you all have good weekends

ps ITSG - do you feel different? are you wandering around saying 'my husband' alot?
