Kity - let us know what you want to do re Wednesday

covenhope · 22/10/2007 14:30

Yes, kitty if you and the children are sick you won't want visitors. Shall we postpone?

kittywitch · 22/10/2007 18:08

nah, we'll be alright! I said to foxy that it'll be a welcome distraction.
I reckon most will be alot better by then and will be dying for something to do. Obviously I understand if you don't want their bugs!

The way I look at it is that there will always be someone ill from now until next summer anyway!

foxensteinscreature · 22/10/2007 18:11

what time do you want us?

kittywitch · 22/10/2007 19:19

Whenever it suits, noon?

covenhope · 22/10/2007 21:25

If we're doing from noon I can make it there and back in a day, so I won't need to stay out (but thanks for the offer kitty )

Please can you email me the address? evenhope at hotmail dot co dot uk.

Are we bringing food?

foxensteinscreature · 22/10/2007 22:32

How about if we all bring a picnic for ourselves (sandwich & drink or whatever) and some things to share?

I've got a scary halloween cake and some spiders web crisps

spongecake · 22/10/2007 22:39

how lovely about the wedding! thanks mossy.

bethoo, nice to know i am not the only one watching endless csi.

kittywitch · 22/10/2007 22:40

I'll roam the supermarket tomorrow, salad, crap pizza and stuff for the kids, that sort of stuff?

intheshitegarden · 22/10/2007 22:53

hello

i had a quick scan of the messages again...im sure i will catch up eventually

the wedding was lovely, the kids were all great.lol@dd1 being 'maternal',i think she is just that used to babies and she liked holding Bertie as he is so light compared to Elsie.

i have put some photos on facebook.

dh(!!!)and i went out for a meal in the evening while my mum, aunt and uncle babysat, which was lovely, nice to get some time to ourselves and reflect on the day.i was rather pissed after 4 glasses of wine and still feel hungover now.i must be getting old.

when is your meetup?

bethoo · 23/10/2007 09:45

Spongecake - my neighbour got me into CSI and i have so far seen all the box sets up to the last episode of season 6! watched 6 episodes last night! i like the original one wit Gil Grissom, something sexy about him don't you think? he is so enigmatic! i sound sadder every time i post!

slept in this morning so did not get to have my omelette or walk the dogs! that is what happens when the little man will not sleep for longer than an hour at a time!

kiwibella · 23/10/2007 10:46

coolies Kitty - I am glad that you are up for it. Are you near a train station? I need to be back in London for the evening so figure this is my safest transportation option!

Can you email me your addy too: bella at tikitour dot net. Ta x x

Bethoo - glad that you got to relax and enjoy your series last night. Thankfully, I had a better night since it was just Kate and me.

Rosyspookily · 23/10/2007 11:21
Envy
kittywitch · 23/10/2007 11:55

Rosy, really wish you could be here too

Bella, Falmer is the closest, it's a short hop from brighton station, trains run every 10 mins. I could pick you up

covenhope · 23/10/2007 12:13

kitty I got your email, thanks

what do you need us to bring? (I'm veggie BTW but eat pizza )

Rosyspookily · 23/10/2007 12:36

One of these meet ups I'm just jolly well going to come over for! Wish I could just transport myself star trek style back and forth- that would be so handy!

kittywitch · 23/10/2007 12:58

I always wanted to be like samantha in "bewitched" very handy way to go!

Covenhope, how about I leave any sweetie/ cake things to you? I'm just about to pop a couple of betablockers and take a trip to ASDA

foxensteinscreature · 23/10/2007 14:47

Kitty LOL at crap pizza - the better the pizza the less likely the kids are to like it!

I'm bringing a big cake and some spider web crisps. Will make some basic sarnies for my two and insist they eat them before they start on the E numbers

Kiwi are you coming from east London?

kittywitch · 23/10/2007 15:24

Ok I've got some nice pizza for grown ups and crap pizza for kids. I'll do a salad and some garlic bread and have got some nibbles and little cakes. There'll be enough I'm sure

kiwibella · 23/10/2007 17:20

hmmm... I am checking the national rail website - I'm sure it must be cheaper to drive. Does £40 sound right to you Kitty (£18 each way)?

foxensteinscreature · 23/10/2007 17:35

Kiwi I have three spaces in my car but I am in west London

Kitty sounds like I might not need to ake the kids sarnies after all. Also got some scary choccie biccies today

kittywitch · 23/10/2007 18:11

No, don't make sarnies, I've got loads here
bella, that sounds about right. it would be cheaper to drive but it depends mostly on what part of London you're coming from.

Mossy · 23/10/2007 18:14

of your giant meet up. Wish I could be there but we are so skint at the moment!!

Dh has had to travel to Leicester as his Gran is dying, and as he can't drive it's three trains there and back, at a cost of nearly £40 return. Poor bloke, I didn't actually think after his behaviour of the last few months I'd ever feel sorry for him again, but I do.

Yes, Bertie is very slight for his age, he looks like a little fairy child next to normal babies!!! Although the amount of noise out of him, you can't help but miss him!!

Rosy... you know Liverpool has a ferry terminal of course, so you could always pop into the 'pool on your way over here

kiwibella · 23/10/2007 19:01

ok Kitty, thanks! I will think about it over night. I have received your phone number by email so I'll give you a call in the morning.

I am coming from East London and quite comfortable about driving down (I love driving!). It's just that I need to be in central London in the evening - and figured train would be the easiest and fastest option.

Hope your dh's Gran is ok Mossy... as ok as ok can be when you are elderly!

Rosy... maybe you should think about a meet-up for all of us over your way .

foxensteinscreature · 23/10/2007 20:08

OK that's agreed then - next meet up in Belfast!!

Shall we set a date?

I haven't been to Ireland (OK, N Irelnd ) for years and am desperate for any excuse!!
