Hi all,

Just a quick post. I am feeling much better now.

I won't be on much over the next few days. My parents arrived today and they are staying until Tuesday.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

MrsFish · 13/12/2007 17:17

Got Ben weighed today... he had definitely had his 12 weeks growth spurt two weeks early. He has put one pound 7 ounces on in two weeks he is now 14 pound 15 ounces at 10 weeks old He is on the 95th percentile.

ooops gotta go and pick up Sam from nursery...

muppetgirl · 13/12/2007 17:47

hi all!

We had a bit of a night last night as ollie had ear ache. Dh slept upstairs in the spare room I had ollie in with me. H had 2 feeds so I was knackered this morning.

Dh and had a bit of a barny as he knows he's crap at diy or anthing to do with moving/lifting as he causes more damage than anything. One of the reasons we got a new kitchen was because the floor was scratched by dh as he moved the fridge across the floor. We have a new floor down and the fridge had been moved into the study whilst all the work was going on. Dh decides to move it back into the kitchen. I suggested asking our neighbour to help but no, dh insists he can manage (you can tell where this is going can't you!)

So he uses a towel to put the fridge on and drags it into the kitchen

SCRATCHING THE NEW LOVELY FLOOR AS HE GOES

bloody, bloody, bloody men. Whay can't they just have help when they need it?????

We had a 'pin your lug holes back I'm going to go for it' type of argument which is really unusual for us.

speak later
x

..anyone got any ideas for the new thread title?

PolarMummy · 13/12/2007 19:46

Aww inzi she is gorgeous, I love her hair, I have hair envy now Zo is loosing all of hers

Muppet I hope you and DH make it up and that your lovely floor isn't too scratched.

MrsFish glad Ben is doing so well, its great when you get them weighed and they have put on weight its such a relief isn't it.

Winne glad you are feeling better and that you enjoy having your parents to stay. I hope they are the type of parents who will give you a bit of a break and not expect to be waited on.

Alice not being in a routine isn't stressing me out at all in fact I don't really like routines and I think doing the same thing every day would drive me insane! Having said that I think a bed time routine is a good idea, just not sure how I establish a bed time routine if feeding during the rest of the day is at different times! But TBH I don't think I will even try a routine until after Christmas as we won't be in our normal routine.

ejt, thinking about you, glad that the funeral went ok and I hope that it was some comfort to you and your DH the number of people who turned out to pay their respects.

Hi Choc, I hope you are having a more relaxes evening this evening.

muppetgirl · 13/12/2007 19:52

Dh has just uploaded a photo -can anyone else see it??

ChocolateHobnob · 13/12/2007 20:10

Inzi, she's gorgeous!

Muppet - sorry about the fight - not surprising given our levels of fatigue - can't see photo though??

Oh and Mrs Fish, bravo to baby Ben! He's doing great!

Polar, I'm with you on the routine thing... after Christmas... I'm just so happy if Rebecca sleeps at all that a routine would be too scary!

ChocolateHobnob · 13/12/2007 20:16

PS: Rebecca photos on my profile now...
