HSP not HPS lol - thank god for that

WestCountryLass · 28/09/2007 21:32

Was hazarding a guess because everyone I know who goes to Toulouse, goes with work and works for Aerospace

Gu puddings are yummy! I love the chocolate souffle! Have you seen the family sized massive portions you can buy? My eyes light up when I see them but I resist and get two individual portions for DH and I for fear I will scoff the lot

WestCountryLass · 28/09/2007 21:34

Nigellas sticky tofee pudding is disgustingly lush! It is an absolute peice of p* to make as well - bonus!

geordiemacminx · 28/09/2007 21:34

The only one I dont like is the mousse - its a bit powdery? The cheeky hot choc sauces are nice too - lovely over ice cream!!!!

AloPesha · 28/09/2007 21:48

Well Ellie is about 10 mins away now!! DP has been to tesco and got pizza, smirnoff ice and Ben and jerrys!! Hoping to try and cheer her up, not sure exactly what time she left but a journey that took me 4 hours has taken her about 9

geordiemacminx · 28/09/2007 21:52

Hello Ladies

SOL - Sorry you had such an awful evening with B and K. Glad DH is home now.

Oooggs - How is Jack now any news?

Hope Ellie ok. What a nightmare journey for her.

Izzy is now rolling everywhere as of this afternoon J is getting very annoyed with her because she keeps getting his toys think I might have to put him in the travel cot with his toys so she can't get him.

Still have no voice Had all my family around this evening taking the p**s out of me.

Hope everyone else ok.
Night Night xx

octoandflash · 28/09/2007 22:52

sleepbabysleep · 29/09/2007 08:25

Hello! Poor Ellie what a horrible journey, hope you feel refreshed and rested now.

DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL - we have moved N´s cot into his own room [SOB] Our bedroom looks so empty and it really makes me feel quite but dh and I are both just reassuring ourselves that it´s on a purely trial basis and we can move him back in tomorrow or next week if we want.. I love having him in our room but I really really need to sleep..

Those of you who have already moved your babies out, do you bother with a monitor? We have one (barely used) but his room is right next to ours through a flimsy partition wall, his cot is probably about 5 metres from my head.. do I need one?

Also, can anyone suggest good (cheap?) online clothes stores with nice/funky clothes for kids? I like vertbaudet, would love gap but they only seem to have a web store for the US. MoiMoiMoi far too expensive for me, lulasapphire seems to only have spring/summer stuff??

geordiemacminx · 29/09/2007 09:15

hey sbs

We have a cheapo monitor that we use when C is upstairs but once we go to bed we switch it off - it makes more noise than he does... I always here him and he's across the landing.

Have you tried Next? We get most of C's stuff from there?

CaptainDippy · 29/09/2007 09:34

Bless you, SBS! ...but sleep is paramount!!

Nope, no monitors used here - can hear P if she is crying from all over the house ...... would only use it if there is somewhere in your house you wouldn't hear N if he was crying.

Right, shower before P requires boobies .....

SkooterIsHomeAlone · 29/09/2007 09:44

hello
I'm sure you can tell from the lack of text speak, but it's Ellie not Skott!!!!!!

well, I left home at 11.30 ish yesterday, and arrived at 9.30 ish last night

I got stuck before I was even out of Suffolk, then huge queues at services, then m25 awful so went further in to North Circular, which was solid, finally got round London to M3 at about 6, only to find that was solid too, so off onto A30, but yep, you guessed it, solid traffic

stopped in basingstoke as Joe was screaming, changed him, fed him, lovely man in debenhams took pity on me and rather than direct me to somewhere to buy matthew a drink, went to their staff vending machine and bought him one, then wouldn't take any money from me.

so. today we are heading out to meet Octo, then I may suggest we sneak all our children into her car and have a peaceful night, think she'd notice a few extras
