Do it! Post it up!

I'm bored, facebook is down, UD isnt on messenger, I have a ton of ironing, but I feel pants....bluergh!

Which of you work for a building society? (or am I making this up?) I have a question for you!

Lizzzombie · 02/10/2007 11:46

Ps. Dragon - I've just looked at your profile to see if you'd put old baby photos up, and seen you like Mika and Poltphonic Spree...I thought it was just me! I love those two!

laughalot · 02/10/2007 13:00

Eah is the buliding soceity lady

I love mika

eandh · 02/10/2007 13:01

Liz I have worked for Bradford and Bingley for almost 10 years so worked there when it was a building society and now it is a plc, so whats your question

Hattie been having real trouble breathing lately and very very wheezy at times, mil said she nearly called me to come home from work yesterday so it must have been bad as she never ever does that. Anyway took her to Drs today and she has been diagnosed asthmatic (dh was from birth but grew out of it at 14 and nephew has it as well) so I have a mask, plastic tube contraption and a blue inhaler for attacks and a brown inhaler for preventitive use dr and nurse gave me a demonstration and she looked so scared with the platic mask on and you have to hold it into place or she wiggles and dosnt inhale the stuff properly. Am hoping we will be able to control it and not have to deal with attacks etc have to go back in 6-8 weeks for another check up (they want to listen to her without the cold she currently has)

laughalot · 02/10/2007 13:06

Uploaded pics of baby laughalot but they arent very good as iv took a picture of a picture.

for hattie xx

eandh · 02/10/2007 13:10

will have to get a baby pic from my mum and dads although ellie spookily looked like dh as a baby when she as a baby (does that ake sense?) but now apparently looks like me - not sure about hattie will have to compare!

theUrbanDryad · 02/10/2007 13:11

aww eah - sorry to hear about hattie. if it's any consolation, i had childhood asthma and grew out of it when i reached adolescence!

i'll ask my mum for a baby photo and put it up on my profile - only for you guys to see though, i was an ugly baby, not like my gorgeous Zacky bear!

LadyTophamHatt · 02/10/2007 14:19

no time for ctaching up.

just have to tell you all to feed your children taosted teacakes.

Oh my giddy aunt...ds4 LOVES them, actaully LOVES is an understatment I think

sorry to hear aboutthe athma EanH, its very common, why don't you start a thread in allergies about it?

katwith3kittens · 02/10/2007 16:56

Sorry to hear your news EaH ... it sounds very much like the inherited kind of asthma and she'll probably grow out of it... ( no chance of any dust mites in your home by the sounds of it )

Yummmm... toasted teacakes ....... lovely ... butter dripping down chin smiley

I've just ordered a bush-baby fleece and its arrived today but theres a fault on the hood dont know wether to keep it or send it back... they are out of stocxk now so I'd have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement. Hmm.

LadyTophamHatt · 02/10/2007 17:48

ask for a part refund kat....

geoRGEEweasley · 02/10/2007 18:26

Hi all.

Sorry to hear about Hattie Eah.

Really want to chat but desperate for a poo (tmi??). Think I may go and sit and ponder a Halloween name.......

Wilkie · 02/10/2007 18:34

Have a nice poo RGee - cn you think of a Halloween name for me please.

You have all chatted too much to catch up properly.

Had a lovely weekend at my cousins wedding and felt really fantastic for the first time in AGES. Wore a lovely black dress, bright red lipstick - mum said I looked like Marilyn Munroe. Wahey

Have started WW. Have got 11lb to lose to get to my target weight!! Eeeeek. Wish me luck and STOP talking about puddings and chocolate

Not much to report, the aquarium is lovely and if you ask J where the fishies are he looks at it and says 'Fssssssss'. SO CUTE! I thought it was a coincidence but he does it every time. Ha ha.

EAH - sorry about Hattie. Am talking to you on MSN about it right now!

MIKA is supporting Take That in December and I love him too!

VinoRouge · 02/10/2007 19:22

Halloween name.....what could I be? Goblet of blood perhaps (DH suggestion)

RGee - feel better now??

Lizz - hope you are feeling better

Wilkie - check you in your red lippie. Did you feel like Marilyn Monroe?

Liking the sound of buttered teacakes....nom nom

E&H am sure Hattie will be ok

Kat - I was gonna order a bushbaby fleece too. I've got a BB carrier and one of the splashsuits that E looks so cute in. Was gonna wait and see if we really need the fleece cos we might need it Jan time when she needs the next size. DId it feel soft?

Got a new job to apply for but think I'll leave the app til the weekend. Yesterday I took a complaint from a woman about bambino mio nappies saying how naff they were and I was dying to say I use them and think they're fab!

DH topping up my vinorouge

gobletofblood · 02/10/2007 19:26

hello!
gonna go for a bath now
oooh I had a fringe cut at the weekend so am getting used to my new look

WizardofWilkdom · 02/10/2007 19:41

Ooooo Vino - let's see a photo - email me please

Dragonhart · 02/10/2007 19:54

EAH- Poor Hattie. Hope that when the cold goes her breathing gets better. xxx

Vino- Bambino Mios were crap for Luke but worked really well for Ruth when she was little (I only had the tiny sizes in them). Luke was a super wee-er though.

I have been worried about the fact that Ruth wont eat finger food(she eats it if I am holding it but if I put it in her hand she just drops it). I have been giving her bread with stuff on it or fruit which she refuses to hold but today I gave her dry bread and breadsticks and she gobbled it down all by herself! Do you think that is weird that she doesnt want to touch sticky/wet stuff?

I gave her fruit loaf today LTH and she loved that too (although she wouldnt touch is as it had butter on it! )

Dragonhart · 02/10/2007 20:11

Put a pic of babydragonhart on my profile.

LadyTophamHatt · 02/10/2007 20:38

ds3, or was it ds2...dunno one of them anyway wouldn't hole wet/sticky stuff until he was much older than this.

Ds2 was a fantasic eater but slower developed into the most picky/fussy eater of the lot. it drove me nuts!!!

Dragonhart · 02/10/2007 20:46

Luke would stuff anything I gave him in his mouth and still eats like a horse. Ruth even shakes her hand as if she is trying to get whatever is on her hand off!

LadyTophamHatt · 03/10/2007 07:31

Poor Ds4, his nose is so bunged up he can hard;y even eat....poor thing.

theUrbanDryad · 03/10/2007 08:54

well i just got sprayed with porridge if it's any consolation.

did anyone watch bringing up baby last night? i'm seriously broody now. really want a little baby to carry round in a sling all day and a little newborn head to sniff....god, i'm so broody it hurts!

those poor babies though - left to cry outside. i've just tucked Z up in his pram next to the radiator. he sicked up on his sleepsuit and i couldn't be bothered to put him in a new one (lazy) so he's just in his vest!!

now, what are the benefits of having a small age gap??

LadyTophamHatt · 03/10/2007 09:08

Hey, UD welcome to my world

Broodiness should be my second name. I f I could stop time and keep them tiny forever I'd be ok but as Ds4 gets old I get more and more broody.

And I understand completely about the broodiness being so bad it hurts. I had it like that when I wanted No#3, its hard hard hard work living with all consuming broodines.

I really hope you get a +ve result soon otherwise my dh will start getting harrassed agian....you can be PG for me

LadyTophamHatt · 03/10/2007 09:10

ansd as for that programme.

That f*cking woamn need to be slapped.....and BE A MOTHER HERSELF before she starts spouting her shit. Did you see the bit when the twin grandmother wanted to see them and she was "tut tut tut ting" to stop her going near them.

FFS I would have decked her!!

eandh · 03/10/2007 09:38

omg i am so tired hattie was awake from 10pm till 2am and woke ellie up, ellie settled in our bed with dh at midnght I ended up coming downstairs with hattie as absolutley nothing would stop her crying. Ended up pulling out sofa bed out she finally slept at 2am till 6.45am.

Got nephew all day today but he has a really bad cough and looks like he wants his mum so am tempted to see how he goes but ring and ask her to collect him as its not fair on him or ellie or hattie as everyone is just bloody miserable. Dh day off today and he has gone back to bed because he doesnt feel that well (he has a cold ffs) aaarghh I wish it was just me and ellie and hattie its actually easier on my own with them sometimes

sorry rant over ...

Lizzzombie · 03/10/2007 10:03

Oh eah you poor thing! (is it too early for a drink?) I suggest you put Ceebeebies on ERALLY loud, enough to wake up Dh and enough to shock all the LO's into a subdued coma for the rest of the day. Play cinemas.

I wanted to ask your opinion on something re fees. I might email you about it just to get your opinion. No urgency though.
Hope your day gets better! x

wilkie - its not just me who is the cake monster! I need to do WW too. Let me know how it goes.

I had to switch off that program last night. Its too distressing.
