sorry for x post must not have refreshed

Know what you mean about feeling responsible, but by the same standard you should feel responsible for having a happy, smiley, healthy (if slightly underweight) little boy! Hope the consultant appt is useful, when is it? (sorry I seem to be constantly asking you that!)
I do feel my supply is almost back to normal but I'm never engorged any more (that could be because he's feeding during the night again tho). I do feel full when I'd expect to and he's started to finish a feed looking sleepy and satisfied again, which is nice. I just want to make sure he hasn't lost any more weight - he's gone from the 25th line to almost the 2nd in about 2 weeks, which seems very fast to me.

maveta · 03/09/2007 17:21

Hi Girls! Everything is okay here, Dad is resting up at home and taking it easy. Just waiting for the next appt really. One of my sisters is coming out for a long weekend which will be really nice, just trying to persuade the other one to come out but she´s in the throws of relationship angst (i.e. he wants to dump her, she doesn´t want to let him ) so not sure when she´ll make it

Today is our 2nd anniversary so parents are going to look after N while we have a meal and a few glasses of wine. Shall be nice.

Hope you are all okay and not getting too stressed out with older children xx

Oh Pesha, I'm sorry D isn't gaining weight. As you say, he's happy and healthy so you should quite rightly feel proud of that. Do you reckon the HV will recommend supplementing him with formula?

Idreamofchocolate · 03/09/2007 17:25

Hi Maveta!

nappynuttynormabutty · 03/09/2007 18:20

Pesha - sorry for the problems with d's weight. Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle from HVs.

Maveta - hope your dad is ok.

Erm...can't remember who'd put pics up (i know it as a few of you ) but they were all lovely

nappynuttynormabutty · 03/09/2007 18:21

There was other stuff i was going to post too but Erin decided to do another poo...and when her nappy was off decided to pee all over the mat and her clothes...so I've forgotten what i was going to put!

mammyjo · 03/09/2007 21:20

Poor you Katy, not surprised you are fed up. You are having a really rough time of it at the moment. Hope you get sorted soon

Pesha, hope the consultant appt will sort things out for D. I havent had F weighed for ages. She was gaining really slowly. It is difficult when you bf as you cant see what they are taking. His photos are gorgeous. You can just see that he is thriving

Evening Ellie!

Sexonlegs · 03/09/2007 21:29

Oh SPB, hope you see the GP soon and they can figure out what's up.

How are you IDOC?

Pesha, sorry to hear about D's weight issue. Good luck to N for tomorrow.

Completely forgotten everything else, as my head is total mush.

Went in to work today for a 1 hour meeting - lasted 3 flaming hours. Had no lunch, got home at 3.15, chatted to my parents briefly, and was out again at 3.30 to pick up B from preschool to get to gym class. Madness.
K was a pita for my parents. Went berserk when she saw dad. Mum tried to give her a bottle at 1.30, and she screamed. I came home to find mum trying again at 3.00, which I was a bit annoyed about, as it was the bottle she had tried at 1.30 and was therefore over an hour old!! I took K from her, and she wouldn't look at me! Really gave me the cold shoulder.

I am quite concerned that K is becoming a mummy's girl, and is going to be a nightmare when she goes to nursery in December!!

Hope everyone is ok.

Head is mush .....

CaptainDippy · 03/09/2007 22:08

She'll be ok, SOL! {{{hugs}}}

UnderPesha · 03/09/2007 22:18

Hello again, been a busy evening getting everything ready for school tomorrow.

Thanks for all kind words about D. Have had my worry and now gonna try and put it out of my head for 2 weeks til hospital appointment!

My mum just rang and has offered me tickets to go see the Levellers on thursday and she'll babysit I knew they were playing in yeovil as my sister is going and had mentioned it to me but I decided i couldnt really afford it and prob wouldnt get babysitter anyway. My mum said yes when my sis asked if she wanted tickets but step dad is not very keen and mum is thinking as its standing only its prob not good idea as she has back and hip problems so not gonna go. Dp will be here till 9 so can hopefully get d asleep by then, I already have 4 oz milk in fridge and D will only need 1 feed while im gone so should be able to express enough for that. Have to check my sis and her dh dont mind me latching onto them though as I dont think I know anyone else who would wanna go see levellers with me! Unless any of you do...? Will have a ticket going spare!

EllieK · 03/09/2007 22:21

ask them on here Pesha!

Hi Ellie!

just floating by, cleaning, tidying, feeding!

elkiedee · 03/09/2007 22:32

CD, hope your friend's baby is alright and that you'll let us know what happens.

Pesha, I really hope your sis and dh are happy to have you join them for a gig, it must be time you had a night out.

dp had an apparently much more positive conversation with the hospital today, I don't think he'd really told me how negative things sounded on Friday. He'll probably return to Kings Lynn for the day again on Wednesday - it's lucky we happen to live near the slow line to Cambridge as a 72 hour tube strike started today so it will still be really hard to get in and out of central London. It's amazing how out of it I am at the moment. I'd thought about visiting my office some time this week but am scrapping that plan as taking a buggy in by bus in these circumstances is not a good idea.

weeonion · 03/09/2007 22:33
