Oooooooh, Elkie! You simply MUST go on your holiday sweetie - You'll have the most incredible time - Wish we'd gone abroad when we just had K and she was very little ...... Our holidays abroad are going to have to wait for a good few years yet!! Go Elkie, Go!!!!!!!!

{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} runny- sorry you had such a shitty weekend sweetie! Bloody men, eh!!? Humph. You are more than welcome to take my formula off of me ..... It is one packet (you know the formula comes in those cardboard boxes that contain 2 foil wrapped packets ... I have one left, won't send you the other cos there's not enough left and I'd be worried it would go all over everywhere in the post and the Royal Mail would lock me up for trying to send cocaine through the post or something!! ) ANYWAY - no charge, free to a good home and all that ...... captain_dippy "at" yahoo "dot" co "dot" uk .... email me your address * I'll stick it in the post ....

boo!

i can get you while i'm at work now, but only popping in

Joe has aptimil, have decided this morning that he will have one formula feed a day while at nursery, to take the pressure off me having to express enough every night ready for next day, so sent box of it to nursery with him

Boo back to you Ellie!

Having a few minutes peace here. Em is off at a birthday party until 2.30, S asleep upstairs. I have to say, I really am looking forward to Em being back at school tomorrow - not that I'm being horrible or anything as I love her to bits, but crikey she can be hard work at times. She has really missed the discipline of being at school. She can be so full-on, I can't imagine being a primary school teacher with 30 of the willful little darlings to deal with.

Dippy - my neighbour's little girl had all sorts of problems with formula, and she ended up giving her some which was based on goat's milk, which seemed to suit her well. Only problem is, goat's milk formula is more expensive. Hope you manage to find something that suits P to give you a bit of a break.

Eddas - your MIL sounds lovely, what a wonderful thing to do. I am really craving a bit of time to myself right now, so I can imagine how lovely it was for you & dh.

Runny - sorry you had such a shitty weekend.

Errmmm can't remember anything else....

OK, gonna put some more pics on my profile. Em started school exactly a year ago, so might post a pic of her first day!

Report
UnderPesha · 03/09/2007 14:09

SPB - read that and thought 3 weeks I'm sure I never managed to get any pics of him smiling at 3 weeks (they were just woken up secret only for mummy to make everyone think she's making it up smiles at that age!) Just had a look at when pic was taken and its actually 7 weeks not quite sure why I put 3, another case of Three Children Induced Madness or TCIM!

Have to rush off to baby clinic now!

hi all

IDOC - photos are lovely I love Cornwall

I am knackered up alot of the night with Erin - tried everything and eventually gave her Calpol Night (last resort pain?)and within 3 mins she was asleep. But that worried me and I spent every hour checking on her and when Jack woke at 4am for a feed I dream fed her as well. We she woke this morning and is fine.

But I am knackered.

hope the weather stays like this for the week.

Thanks mammyjo - will have a good hols - I hope I can't guarantee the weather or childrens behaviour

I have 3 under 4 and am completely bonkers and mad (what does that make KHIN who has 3 under 3!!!!! )

Bollocks.

Went to clinic feeling really positive, felt d had been feeding really well, more obvious glugging of milk, more dribbling of milk down his chin, some sicking up of milk after a big feed as if he was getting more than he's used to, more dirty nappies.

Had him weighed and he is now 5.24kg or 11lb 8. He has gained 40g in 2 weeks, thats not even 1 fucking oz ffs. In 2 weeks!! He's never gained so little in just 1 week nevermind 2 Cant believe it. Feeling shit now. Just had a big bit of chocolate cake though which has helped a tiny bit

On the plus side it was yet another different hv and she was very nice and happy that its already being dealt with, didnt nag at all. DP just said 'well at least you didnt have a nagging housewife or whatever they are'!

And dp's taken tonight off work so he can be there for nathans first day at school tomorrow which is really nice.

Report
StealthPolarBear · 03/09/2007 15:36

Pesha, was that a problem? Or are they/you happy he's healthy and gaining, even though it's slowly?
I'm getting T weighed again tomorrow, hopefully he won't have lost any more weight
Is Nathan looking forard to tomorrow?

Report
oooggs · 03/09/2007 15:42

don't worry pesha - he is happy, sleeping and being fed - do what you want (shame they don't get weighed in their nappy cos then you could but stones in it)

Good Luck for tomorrow Nathan - have a great day x

Report
UnderPesha · 03/09/2007 15:52

I dont think they're happy with it at all, he's now dropped right off the bottom of the chart, below the blue. But they're happy to wait for consultant appointment and he seems absolutely fine in himself - non stop smiles! Because I'm bfing I feel responsible. Although now I'm actually starting to think they're must be more to it than not enough milk because I'm sure we had a good fortnight for feeding yet he's done worse than ever.

Hope T's put on weight, do you feel like your supply has built up again?

Nathan is really excited about school and his new uniform. He goes tomorrow for a half day but then no school on wed and I'm not sure he's gonna be too happy about that but back for half days rest of week and then next week he's mon + tues ft, wed, thur, fri til 12 until 1st oct when he's ft 5 days a week. I'm looking forward to it and dreading it all at the same time!!
