Yep, they are the 9oz ones. Email me your address, nicholls_57 at hotmail dot co dot uk and I will send them to you! Just so you know they have a couple of scratches on. It is from me being a little over the top with the bottle brush. I ended up with the metal bit on them from scrubbing so hard! They are still fine though.

norma's daily rant (excuse the language)

Fucking useless fuckers at Currys. Delivery guy comes with new washer. I've paid for them to disconnect old one, install new one, take old one and rubbish away. So he pulls old one out of space it's in...says the pipes on the back are too short (the flexible ones - been ok afaik)...so he says he'll disconnect it and take it away but WON'T install new one . So then he can't undo the fucking pipes...so won't disconnect old one. Tells me to get my dh to get some fucking tools for the job...FFS, they knew they were coming to disconnect a washer...it's their job....why the fuck do they not have the tools??? . So I'm now left with my current washer out of place (didn't think it was worth risking my floor moving it about lots), new washer in all wrapping an middle of kitchen floor and have to contact store to get a refund and to arrange collection of old washer...but the store can't do this because it was after 5pm , so can't even try to sort it til tomorrow.

I know, I really should have made a fuss while he was here but was really nervous tbh (felt panicky all morning as SPB will tell you ) and i didn't see how it would help seeing as he didn't have any tools. Will prob get mad on phone tomorrow...

i would probably have wussed out on face to face confruntation. Just make sure you don't simmer and give in too easily tomorrow. Right down what you want to say and try to be calm and matter of fact about it. Insist on a refund and try to make THEM come back out ASAP to fix new one and take old one, or at least dispose of old one FOC, useless bunch. Make sure you ask why the half wit had no tools

Yeah, it doesn't seem logical that a delivery guy who has to disconnect a washer has no tools to do it with...there's no common sense these days

Going out for a meal tonight, dh's treat. I think mainly to cheer me up . See you all tomorrow!

Nutty, you ought to actually put a complaint in writing too. Too many big firms seem to think they can just get away with treating their customers like shit. I am a serial complainer!! Cant stand crap service, especially when you have paid for something that the guy clearly could not deliver. What the hell was he going to do with no tools. Ask them what the address of their head office is. Say you are thinking of making a formal complaint as you are extremely disappointed in the service you have received. You never know, you might get something out of it. Has worked for me a few times in the past!!

for fucks sake. this is pissing me off now. nothing has happened. she said she was coming to baptism after i was so upset at my mum cancelling. now she's not. i offered to pay but she's still not. it upset me, but for the sake of things on here and my friendship with her i put it behind me. but you all keep going on about it. i have no idea why she isn't on here. i have a present for her girls on order so as far as i know things are fine between us.

sorry for the rant but it's been slowly getting to me more and more
