12 at starbucks sounds good to me, i will be the one with a navy three wheelie pram, short dark hair, glasses, well rounded!

scootermum · 13/09/2007 22:02

I love introducing L to first time Mommies...the look of horror on their faces!Of course their babies will most likely NOT end up like my naughty Lily so no need to look so worried..L has managed to work out how to undo the clips on the buggy and hence we can be walking along quite merrily and the next thing I know she is out of the buggy and into the road!

And of course you are very welcome up in Herts as well largegandt and anyone else who wants to come..(although I dont have a mansion like Mrs JB )

As I suspected was falling asleep by 9 on evening out so have come home to bed..
We are off to the Norfolk broads tomorrow..we will be 6 adults, 3 toddlers and baby Mae on a boat..this is quite possibly a recipe for unmitigated disaster!
Will have to pack in the morning as am tired tired tired..

Have a nice weekend all x

Pebblemum · 14/09/2007 00:30

I thought you had all deserted to facebook so didnt pop on here earlier, Its taken me a while to catch up.

LG&t Im going to get dh to take a pic of my hair I have tried but gave up in the end. Ive gone from having hair halfway down my back to shoulder length and ive got a fringe Havent had one of them for years lol. the colour is great, its deep plum with red and black highlights, looks great when the sun shines on it.

Have completely forgotten what I read on here just now so will just say I hope everyone has a great nights sleep and the babues/toddlers behave themselves lol

aprilmeadow · 14/09/2007 08:54

12pm at Starbucks it is then

MrsJB, Ella will be 2 weeks away from turning 1

Pebble, your hair sounds fab! I hope the weather is better on Wednesday than when we first met!! Will be a whole lot less stressed at Jack will be in nursery

mum2G, if you want to eamil me on [email protected] then i will send you my mobile number, just in case

Ella had an okish night. Woke at 11pm and 5am. Its getting later so fingers crossed she goes back to being my little sleepy angel soon.

Mrsjaffabiffa · 14/09/2007 09:12

Geee Yes, I forget she's 4 weeks older, She may even be walking AM. she did well sleeping lastnight, fingers crossed for your angel to return.

Our TV decided to die on us on Wednesday eve. Right in the middle of Supernanny, doesn't it realise it is a necessatie for me to watch that programme with my 3 troubles. We are off tomorrow to purchase a new 32" Lcd, I had thought we didn't have the money but my dh has been stashing some in another account. I wonder if he's robbed a bank or is a secret lottery winner.

Have a lovely day today all...........

MrsJB, thats so funny at A having stored cash! Just think of the fun you will have trapsing round all the stores on a Saturday

I have just put together a list of all the people i need to buy xmas presents for..... Better getting selling stuff on ebay as i need about a grand! I have done a nice spreadsheet - love my spreadsheets i do - with names, budget, item, actual cost and difference. I know, i know its sad! I think i am missing being at work. Need to something to work on!

aprilmeadow · 14/09/2007 10:44

walking, thats just too scary

Bensonbluebird · 14/09/2007 13:39

Aidan is truly a rolly mo, went from front to back this morning. Don't think he has grasped the full implications yet or he would be off.

I snapped the fourth time Aidan woke last night and decided to go for solids. He scoffed down some baby rice for lunch and seemed to get the hang of it pretty quick. Fingers crossed it works.

LWandLottie · 14/09/2007 14:44

Hello!

I haven't abandoned you all for facebook I promise! I've been really bloody ill as has C and my sister! Cannot seem to shift what I thought was just a cold, but now seems to be more like the frickin flu! Feeling incredibly sorry for myself, but even more so for poor Lottie. The wee thing has been coughing, sneezing, snotty etc, but still managed to be very smiley and happy. She's still going down all through the night which is fab, ranging from waking at 7:30-9:30am.

She's been sleeping lots during the day too but I think that's because she's ill.

Am back off to bed me thinks, just popping in to say hello to you all. Hope babies are all ok, catch up soon. x

Bensonbluebird · 14/09/2007 19:32

Poor you LW, that does sound miserable. Glad Lottie is getting plenty of sleep though, that must make things easier.

cameroonmama · 14/09/2007 20:49

Sorry that C is poorly LW, we are all full of colds here too..

Christmas? Spreadsheets? April, I need to employ you, my dh would be in seventh heaven if I could produce a spreadsheet of christmas budgeting, he would wonder where his wife went whilst he was away

Inspired by Pebble I went to the hairdressers with J in tow and came out 2.5hrs later....not so different from when I went in

The good news is, is that inspite of dh thinking you all must be paedophiles, he thinks I should try and come to the meet up on Wednesday, yippee!

MrsJB's mansion looks big enough for all of us to visit in March Imagine a houseful of almost 1 year olds walking and bottom shuffling and rubbing biscuits into the floor, what fun

AbbyLou · 14/09/2007 21:19

Hi everyone, thanks for all the good wishes for Charlie. He is taking it in his stride well but has been feeling a little sorry for himself today. He didn't have a very good night last night as has been dosed up with painkillers today. Both kids have also developed a streaming cold so I feel so sorry for him. He is chuffed to bits because he got to have a pink plaster. He has a thing about bright pink so now my not very macho little boy is sporting the brightest pink plaster you have ever seen bless him. On the up side the cast protector we ordered came today and we tried it out in the bath. It works a treat and the cast stayed completely dry - looks like he will be able to go in the pool after all!

ArtistFormerlyKnownAsSOH · 15/09/2007 14:45

Hey all, just running in and out really to let you all know that I'm alive, thinking about you all and hoping everybody's well. Am currently waging a one woman war against croup here in Norfolk. Poor old Tank Baby is most decidedly poorly. She has upped her feeds to compensate though so we're feeding every 45 minutes through the wheezing. I am a shadow of the human I once was.

Must try and catch up tonight if M sleeps but I did spy the word Christmas as I scrolled through quickly. Never too soon for Christmas. Or Christmas pudding for that matter.

Lupins71 · 15/09/2007 16:17

SOH & LW good to here from you both - think a few of our babies have this hoorid cold

Abbeylou glad the cast cover works

Poor Arlens cough is really bad now, when to pharmasists today and she gave us some baby meltus and said as it was all on the chest theen get him to the docs on monday if it was no better, to top this he is teething soooo badly - im sure its exageratted because hes a man lol!! dd was never like this, couldnt find the anbesol last night and it was too late to get any the poor little mite just couldnt settle

Guess what im buying - oh no i know i shouldnt, just sold my loola (thanks cam) and my micralite, but have always fancied a M&P pramette in Optic, just got one for £65 well chuffed!! am going to have to get rid of the quest now - oh and i was doing so well

DD got me up to dig her a garden at 7.30 thats what happens when i let her watch alan bloody titchmarsh!! she was quite happy to go and get lelly kellys - but no, one watch of gardners world and were off to buy pansies instead, my arms were killing - thats the one place i have never been able to tone up, anyone else have that problem

Right going to do battle with the washing up - I had the excuse all day that i didnt have any washing up liquid but just been to the shops

aprilmeadow · 15/09/2007 18:13

Hey ladies, just a quick one as i am going out tonight.

Sorry to hear of the poorly babies and tired mummies.

Just wanted to say that Ella went 12hrs last night WOOHOO 7.30-7.30. Am so pleased. Hope we can get the same tonight.

AbbyLou · 15/09/2007 20:39

Whoah there Abby!

cameroonmama · 16/09/2007 07:57

Way to go Ella! Did she manage again last night? Does it leave you feeling a little sore on the nork front?

Abby, was a good night had by all?

aprilmeadow · 16/09/2007 08:09

she did it again - wooo hooo

I wouldnt say it made me feel sore but they do feel full. She slept 7-7 and then fed and is still snoozing

Lupins71 · 16/09/2007 08:29

SKYTVADDICT · 16/09/2007 15:18

Hello all

Been keeping up but didn't have much to report.

LW - hope you all feel better soon and AL hope you have a lovely time at center parcs and DS doesn't feel his arm too much.

Well I caved in on the weaning! C has had baby rice for the first time today (19 weeks). Have had a few bad days this week where he wanted feeding 2 hourly and also been waking at 5.30 am (from 9 pm ish) instead of 7 which he had been doing for a couple of weeks. He wanted feeding 2 hours after his 11 am feed today and even after that was wingeing so I made up the rice and he really enjoyed it. Aaargh! Now have to start pureeing!

Mum2G · 16/09/2007 18:53

Hi all

AM - Well done Ella! re meet up - thanks i Wiil e mail you with my mobile no - once i have looked up what it is!

Lupin - Hope Arlen's cough is getting better, Yey for his rolling!

looking forward to wednesday too - i haven't met anyone from online before, but my brother met his wife online!

SkyTV- glad the baby rice went down well, good luck with the weaning, let us know how it goes, it is all new to me - i have been reading up on it in my 'parenting for dummies' book (!)

LW&L - Hope you are all feeling better.

well nothing much to report here, went to try and get G some slippers with rattles on but he has got huge feet, so they wouldn't have lasted five minutes, oh and i cried at causalty last night - honestly!

cameroonmama · 16/09/2007 19:28

I cried at Casualty too

I have a rotten cold, dc have been fighting all day, no dh and J awake at 10.30 then 3 then 6 so am feeling utterly sorry for myself, and had to do battle with the world's largest spider in the bath, there was space enough for him or J, not both. I enlisted dd's help I got her to squash him with the plughole, she thought she was liberating him down the plughole, bless her

AbbyLou · 16/09/2007 20:06

Oh god, how embarassing. I have just read what Iposted last night, I don't really remember doing it! We had a lovely night and I was very drunk so sorry everyone. Well I won't be around this week as we are off to Center Parcs tomorrow until Friday. C has been an absolute trouper with his plaster so hopefull he will still enjoy his holiday. He has such a sunny outlook, it takes a lot to get him down. Both dc have rotten colds though and it's R's first one so feel a bit sorry for her.
Anyone, speak to you all next weekend. Byeee!
