Oh Katy, hope you are ok. You sound so pissed off. Is T still poorly?

LazyEmma, sorry the typing test didn't go as well as you had hoped. Fingers crossed that you were better than the others and get the job.

Nutty, I am fuming on your behalf re your il's. Bloody cheek.

Hi KHIN.

Hi everyone
sorry for the stupid post. T is grumpier than usual and seems to scream a lot today but in between he's OK and smiley so I'm not worried. As you say, he's probably feeling a bit under the weather and also me cutting the top of his thumb off yesterday can't have helped [bad mummy]
It isn't just him though, I haven't heard about the job, the interview was last Monday, just had to chase the estate agents to find out what the guy thought about the house on Friday (apparently he;s put in an offer on somewhere else). I'm meant to be going into work next Tuesday to be on interview panel so am trying to get someone to give me the times so I can pop home and feed T - am stressing about expressing and also feeling full of milk during the day.
So all in all just feeling fed up
People who are already at work, what do you do about the about-to-explode feeling? Might not be too bad if I can pop home at lunchtime.
maveta, you're not the only one confused by the chart, I assume the 1s and 2s relate to percentiles, but not clear at all!!
Wow he's lying on his baby gym and entertaining himself, better go and start tea!

katy, glad the poos are back to normal

Sounds like we're all feeling out of sorts to some degree, guess things change with new babies and makes everything different.

My dh has just sent me a text, 'we have another big decision to make over dinner tonight, let you know more when I get home'

I hate it when he does that, I wnat to know NOW

Any guesses what it will be?

Hi, KAty sorry you're having a hard time. Hope one of the bfeeders on here can give you some hints.

I think the 1, 2, -1, -2 relate to standard deviations. So a bit like the centile lines iyswim.

Am sooo tempted to send a snotty reply

He's been offered a new job in a fabulously hot country with an even more fabulous pay rise ...maybe not,but you can dream .

Now if my dh sent me a text like that, I'd be thinking it's..."should we get take away tonight?"

I think we have the old charts. D was huge for his age, but was apparently in proportion to his height. But I can't believe at 3-4 months that we're going to be getting more milk down our babies than they feel/express a need for.

I'm shocked that your FIL emailed you that article Nutty. Wish we could all send your inlaws messages telling them to back off and stop bullying you. I'm sure you're doing your best by your beautiful daughter (and she's quite gorgeous).

Bet it's about a holiday.
Or another child....
Ho exciting, will log on later, so make sure you've let us know.
(Because of course pleasing some virtual person on MN has to be your top priority)

have just realised that wouldn't be made over dinner cos dinner would then be take away

in that case I'd probably think he'd seen some new gadget that he wants to buy but will never use...

Eddas, fingers crossed your dh's news is something good to decide about and you can come to a decision that you're both happy with. Don't forget to let us know now, will you?

Katy, glad T seems to be happier/in working order.

Eddas · 14/08/2007 17:35

of course i will! Knowing dh it'll be something boring and non-news worthy

DD has just shut ds up by singing rock a by baby, sooo cute!

I wish I could show you all the video of dd singing(on her microphone) and dancing to, the very appropriate for a 3 year old, Rehab(amy winehouse) So funny

well dh has been back 2 minutes and

there's and assistant manager job vacancy at another branch in his company. He's going for it. not much of a discussion, just more telling me he's going for it! Told you it'd be nothing exciting!!!!!!!

BTW, he's very good at his job, has been told many a time that he's assistant manager material. Been for jobs twice but not got them. 3rd time lucky Hope so for his sake as I think if he leaves his branch he'll be happy staying there. Would mean buying a second car IF he got the job. But guess we'll cross that bridge IF he gets it

katy, how long will you be at work for? I am still bf Joe, he has just changed his feeding routine, but to start with I was feeding him at 8am, leaving him at nursery with a bottle of EBM which he had at 11.30, then I'd be there to give him his 3pm feed. I found that I didn't feel ready to burst unless he fed early and I missed the 3pm feed too (they have milk in the freezer for him).

Now Joe has a feed at 5.30am, I express milk at 7.30 and send that with him to nursery for him to have with breakfast at 9am (along with cereal), I send a bottle of EBM for him to have at 12, and then he feeds at 4.30. I am feeling full by the time it gets to 4.30!!!! I am trying to remember to express when I get home at 1.30 and again at 3 to build up freezer stocks and keep away the exploding feeling!

Havent caught up yet but nutty - new WHO charts are for bf babies, old charts are for bottle fed babies - Erin is bottle fed right?! And from what you said she is fairly low on charts anyway, certainly nowhere near the top. They have definitely gone too far with this, I think a calm but firm email reply telling them to mind their own business is in order, if you need help from them you will ask for it. Am and on your behalf!

evening all

can't remember much except at nutty's flippin inlaws. I would be FUMING if my fil did that to me. And cute phots WCL! And at T screaming Katy, hope he's settled down a bit now.

In the spirit of my weight-loss pact with Maveta I went to yoga today and it was lurvly. I have yet to do something that causes me to break a sweat though And I have to confess that I ate a slice of cake with a friend this afternoon. So, basically I'm doing crap (lol) and Maveta I'm very of your willpower to do a run!!

Today I realised I have a load of clothes for T in the wardrobe that I thought would be too big for him yet, but, with his incredible ability to jump up a percentile everytime he's weighed combined with big-bum cloth nappies he is actually too big for them!
